Randomly stumbled upon Blackbird on our way home from a family trip. We fell in love! Welcoming. Organized. Spotless. Professional. More than you could ever expect. So many options of food products, amazing cheeses, sauces, and even clothing options. Jennifer was so welcoming and knowledgeable of her products. Their family business is genuine and makes their products from passion and is fully stocked on local products as well. Very happy customers. If you have a chance to stop in, you won't regret it. We are an hour away and are already making plans to return! Thank you for your hospitality Blackbird Distillery! ❤️

You have to stop here!This place looks great when you pull up, ample parking and the new construction on the left looks like it will be well worth the trip back when it’s done. Plenty of outside sitting.The inside is well situated and open and there are lots of other things to buy other than shine. Really friendly people and great conversation. The shine is great and their history is wonderful. So many options and they even have shine cream mixes that are the best!As a tourist this is a must stop.

We loved this place!! The staff is so friendly and informative! They have every flavor you can imagine and everything I tasted was amazing! The decor is just adorable! I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend! Lots of canned goods, sauces, moonshine, slushies and liqueur! Can't wait to try this place in the summer and sit outside and check out the goats down the hill!

As all the reviews say, this is a great place to visit!🤩 Whimsical hillbilly atmosphere. 😵I went twice, two days in a row, the second day I went for happy hour. And I bought some smoked salami and smoked cheese and sat out on the front porch and the owner even brought me some of her homemade mustard.😋It was a wonderful afternoon!It's more than just a distillery. It's a country store with many food items to choose from.I absolutely love smoked meats and cheeses so it was perfect for me.They have a daily happy hour where they make a special cocktail. The staff is young and enthusiastic and informative. I didn't get to see the inner workings but the owner told me they were expanding. I hope they make this into a Harvest Host stop for the RV community.

Where do I start….. This place is amazing!!! I had the privilege to meet the owners David and Jennifer Black!!! We could have talked to them forever, they were very friendly and personable!!! The employees are just as nice and made you feel like you are family!!!! I cannot wait to come back again!!!! If you are in the area or need a different location to take trip I highly recommend Blackbird distillery!!!!

Great place to stop and try some amazing flavors of moonshine off the beaten path! I don't think I've been in another distillery before that had so many delicious flavors (mom and pop type). Smoked cheese and meats pickles jams and so much more!! You won't be disappointed if you stop!

This place is the best. Only problem, needs to be closer. This is a 1.5 hr drive from my place and it is worth every minute of it.The smoked cheese is amazing…lots of different varieties (My faves are the Ghost Pepper and Hot Pepper).Their selection of sauces and other locally canned items are fantastic (The Hot Pepper Mustard and Pretzel Mustard are the best).Lots of merch and of course some Shine! The Shine is fantastic but definitely a personal choice on each flavor as some just aren’t to my liking.Could not recommend this place more. If you are in the area or just want a cool place to check out…this is it!

Really spectacular moonshine here! There are so many fantastic flavors, it's difficult to choose just one. (That's probably why we got three.) They staff is incredibly knowledgeable and can assist you in finding flavors you'll like best. Not only are the drinks amazing, but they also offer meats and cheeses which are smoked to perfection. We enjoyed sampling these as well, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with our incredibly tasty haul from our visit.The atmosphere is chic, yet rustic, and the only suggestion I'll make is to give yourself enough time to take it all in, including the varieties of gifts, glassware, and other items in the shop. Very cool experience!

My wife and I stopped in at the Blackbird Distillery this past week while visiting family in Pennsylvania.Let me tell you that this distillery is absolutely phenomenal!The shop has an amazing array of products. They had a huge selection of moonshine, smoked meats and cheese, homemade canned pepper mixes, and BBQ sauces.We did some tasting and was blown away with the quality of everything especially the the moonshine!!!The young lady working there (sorry I don't know her name) was very personable and knowledgeable. She was able to answer all questions and was very helpful in making the decision in what we bought there.We also met the owner and Master Distiller Dave Black. This guy is awesome!He gave us a tour, a history of how the distillery came to be and explained the plans of expansion in the very near future. (Construction has already begun).Dave also signed a couple of bottles I purchased for my collection as well as a six gallon oak barrel.If you are in the Brookville area or just passing through on I80, it would be worth every second to stop in, do some tasting and purchase some of the best quality moonshine available. No exaggeration. You'll be hard pressed to find a better moonshine.I know that this will be a definite stopping point for us every time we are going through PA.

Cool place. The decorations are awesome; centered around a hillbilly theme. The clerk was very friendly. My husband and I got some smoked meat and cheeses, which were delicious, and of course some Moonshine!

Moonshine in so many different flavors!Cheeses, bbq sauces, fudge, slushies, beer, and more. Great relaxing atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Free tastings. A little slice of Hillbilly Heaven right here in PA!We will be back to see ya'll again when we are in the Brookville area.

This Family Owned & Operated Moonshine Distillery was Bad-Azz!! My husband & I made a Special trip here & so glad we did! We purchased 5 Bottles of `Shine & did a little "Taste-Testing" as well! This place was Fun, Trendy, & Attractive! The Staff are super friendly, outgoing & helpful too! Legal moonshine, need I say more?Tastes available, take a driver, you'll need one!The flavors are so good but don't stop there! They make so much more you can't even make up your mind!But don't forget the Hi Test, that's medicine! LMAOEasy to find, friendly staff, handicap parking and just call ahead if you need help.They have jerky, coffee, maple syrup all bourbon related. On site smoked cheeses!I'm telling you, get over there to hillbilly heaven in PA and make your day!

We have driven past the signs so many times on our trip back and forth from Northwrst Ohio to Western New Jersey. We finally stopped and it was so worth it. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have awesome moonshine flavors like Apple Pie, Peach, BlackBerry and Orange Cream. All the flavors we purchased are very tasty. They go down smooth and not overly sweet for the fruity flavors. Will definitely be back to buy some more. They even have drink mixes, pickled veggies, cheeses, hot sauces, bourbon barrel maple syrup (I had to buy some of that), t-shirts and wind chimes. We picked up a few bottles to take to NJ as gifts. The glass flask 101 bottles are really neat too.It's just off the highway but feels like you are off the beaten path.Definitely check this place out. The prices are reasonable for great quality moonshine.

First time there this Sunday, and it was absolutely awesome! The lady behind the counter was so nice! But not to mention the moonshine is absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back next time I’m up. I suggest getting some of the smoked meat and cheese as well.

My boyfriend and I stopped in during our visit to cook forest and I can't stress enough how this is a must visit distillery on quality of product alone. Aside from how delicious and clean every moonshine we tried (and purchased) was, the owner was a lovely woman and super informative. She told us why the drinks were named the way they were, what the flavors paired well with, why things were priced the way they were and even how the moonshine is made.It was weirdly educational and extremely cozy on the inside, our flavor recommendations are the smoked butterscotch, the apple black, peanut butter ( we bought all three of those) and definitely try the orange cream.theres tons of homemade goodies inside, mixed drinks that you can buy and drink while browsing, and don't underestimate the house made drink mixes to take home with you for your own cocktails. We bought the apple pie to go with the apple black and it tastes like heaven, you can barely tell there's any alcohol in it from taste, it's dangerously delicious. If you visit cook forest, you HAVE to visit blackbird distillery

Moonshine distillery with a huge variety of flavors to choose from. All done by hand, each batch comes out a wee bit different from the others. Everything I tried was good, but the peach moonshine is far and away a favorite. I'm so glad I found this place, now I have a new place to look forward to visiting when I travel through Pennsylvania.
