We found this place while cruising the back roads a couple of weeks ago and decided to return today. Both visits we have gotten the Beef BBQ which has a very tasty bbq sauce and sauteed onions but today I realized that it appears as though they use a chopped up hamburger, not fresh ground beef which was a little disappointing. Today we ordered a chili dog and while the hot dog was a nice size the chili was literally non-existent as you can see in the photo, perhaps a spoonful was added to the middle of the bun. The fries seemed to be fresh and hot but nothing to write home about. I do love their cole slaw, sweet and creamy and only 50 cents per container and the chocolate shake we got today was also very good. One other thing, not sure if the pup cups are free or if there is a charge for them because the receipt I was given both times was just for the credit card and was not itemized but they only put a very small amount of ice cream in the cup, next time we will just pay for a kids cup for our golden puppy. Staff is friendly, their prices are good and there is lots of parking but this place seems to always be busy and the line can get pretty long (especially for the ice cream side) so be patient.Parking: Plenty of parking

This place is top notch 👌 we came in andbgot a chicken sandwich and a burger with fries. First everything was delicious but you can really tell they hand make their fries! They're very good, second the view in the back is beautiful. Perfect if you have a dog. I got a fresh strawberry sundae 🍨 and will drive out of the way to get another. I highly recommend this place.Fast friendly service, clean establishment

Friendly staff & fairly fast service! Extremely clean!This little hole in the wall looking shack was suggested to us by a Facebook group, so we set sail and drive through the corn fields in the country side to put them to the test! We orders grilled cheese w/bacon, pizza burger, bacon ranch cheddar fries for our first visit…..The food is incredible, this place reminds me of back home in Ohio, a Mom & Pop place that is a rarity, something your Grandpa would say “They don’t make em like that anymore”. This place was so busy! We also decided to try their ice cream, Carmel Sundae & a Peanut Butter ripple milkshake, both we very delicious, can’t wait to try more. Their menu is pretty big, you can either sit in or order ice cream outside. Definitely a must try if you never have before!

Tjis is definitely a dive if you look critically at the appearance. But we honestly were charmed by the old fashioned appearance.Delicious tuna hoagie. Small but yummy cheeseburger. Thick but blech fries. Clean and nice people.

This was one of my favorite places to go growing up in Brogue, and now i have the ability to bring my boys here! The view is absolutely stunning, the food is amazing! Our personal favorites range from the pizzaburger and the gyro, to the clam strip meal which is nice and big and the fried chicken. They have a great variety of food and drinks as well as ice cream and icies. They have indoor and outdood seating however due to covid 19 theyre not able to have dine in open at this time. However the inside is beautifully done and takes you back to the good ole days. Wonderful oldies music too which i personaly love. I highly recomend grabbing a bite to eat here, plenty of space out back for the kids to play tag and again amazing food! Oh and they have milkshakes, floats, and splits too!

This place was awesome! We ate outside at the picnic tables overlooking farmland. Great food with excellent views. I saw a banana split and it was huge!

This place is a small wonder! Great ice cream, friendly service, a small "throwback" arcade and a half court basketball setup add to the amazing view of farmland from the picnic tables out back. By far my favorite place for cool treats!

My family and I have been coming here for years! We love it and have never once had an issue with our orders being wrong, or our food/ice cream being anything less than what we had hoped it would be! The girls that took my order today when I went with my 2 year old son were patient, understanding and cheerful to say the least! Highly recommend going if you haven't gone before!

Really awesome place. I love the older music they play inside and it's really great how they were able to keep the feel of an older 1950s drive in/ diner all these years later. The food is good and prices are really cheap ( which helps with the nostalgic feeling and gives families a nice place to go out and eat on a budget) and they have the best ice cream.Ps- you have to get the raspberry soft serve with hot fudge on top! Tastes like a truffle 😋

Food is always great, but I waited in line for 40 minutes for a milk shake. Yep I was dumb for waiting that long. I Was gonna order food, but the girl that was taking the order for the food was cooking one order at a time. So I would have had to wait till the family of 7 food was done to get waited on. Need to find a time where they aren't so busy to go.

I got sick on the food, didn't even make it home. Heading to lacaster & had to stop @ the giant @ the Buck.Got me that sick that quick, then had to make two other stops before even making it home to lacaster..And it's now 4hrs later & I'm still sick.Food was that horrible, either not cooked right or out of date?? This place needs checked by the FDA.I would think twice before you stop & eat there.Convenient Store would probably be better food.

Amazing burgers, delicious tuna melt, and fun flavors of ice cream. Prices can’t be beat. Would not recommend the “taz tropic” water ice - tasted like soapy coconut. Overall a good experience and a fun stop.

Food is good but service was incredibly slow. 45 minutes for 2 regular cheeseburgers, 2 fries and 1 coke and a vanilla shake. Gal was rude that took our order. Needs to pickup the pace with the clients you have. Two couples walked out while I was waiting on my food.

Don’t bother wasting your time or money here! We have been customers for many years and have always been pleased with our ice cream. But, today they have lost our business because I ordered a small soft serve and I couldn’t believe what I got. My cone had an inch and a quarter ice cream! I asked her if she handed me a kids cone and she rudely said “No, that’s a small”. If we hadn’t waited for 35 minutes in line and I didn’t want to delay the others in line behind me; I would have demanded my money back. I thought of taking a picture but honestly, it would have melted away before I got my phone out. I kid you not! They should be ashamed! Sadly, this business has gone downhill since the pandemic and I am still really angry over being ripped off. I also had to stop at Bonkeys in Red Lion to satisfy my ice cream craving! :(

One of our all time favorite places to eat!! You just can't get burgers this good anymore!! The homemade ice cream is amazing! And the service is so good, they always have a smile and make you feel right at home!

Great stopping point for a bite to eat or to enjoy some ice cream. The view is amazing if you sit outside at one of their picnic tables. It will take a little longer than normal to be waited on so be patient. They are hurting due to lack of employees like everywhere else these days. The few there are trying to cover all areas (inside & outside). I do recommend if you are not pressing for time.

This is the best fried chicken place in PA yes it is a drive but it is worth it, I love this place and am never disappointed I always come home with a full stomach. There ice cream is very good and some of the best soft serve around. I strongly encourage you to go here if you don't like chicken they have other options. One thing I would like to point out is that the service is slow but the staff is excellent. So once again I strongly encourage you to go here, you will not regret it!
