Employees are rude, unhelpful and lazy. I had to load huge bags of soil myself, because the young man they had working wouldn't take a step into the parking lot towards my car. I saw at least 6 employees while I was there, but no one wanted to provide assistance to me or the fellow looking to purchase a chainsaw. It is mind boggling how this place stays in business. I guess I'll have to make the trek to Tannersville or Bangor for my Ace purchases. Every time I break down and use this Ace store, I am swiftly reminded of the lapse in judgement.

Large Hardware Store.Free off street parking.Convenient location, located on Rt 209.Store is attached to Dunkelbergers outdoor shop.The building outside and inside looked to be clean safe and well maintained.Employees are friendly and helpful.They have all normal hardware store stuff.Weber GrillsStihl power equipment and accessories.I went there to get Peatmoss.Had it no problem.Fair Prices.Quick and Convenient Checkout.I think they also do small engine repairs

Have a lot of good things. I prefer local shops to big box stores but the prices here are a bit higher than I would like to buy a large scale amount of anything. So it's perfect for an oh, i need this dodad or a quick fix required.

Has the insight to realize many consumers will be shopping on weekends so Has adjusted business hours to cater to them (it's amazing how many other stores in town close or close early on Sunday!) On this visit alone I found better prices vs Amazon on 2 items,(1 was almost half the price compared to Amazon!) Keep up the good work guys! VERY HELPFUL STAFF!

I’ve spent a considerable about of time and money at this Ace and the service and attitude of this location has been horrible. To add to that, I took my saw for repair and after 2 weeks and holding on several times on the phone and the uncertainty of what was going on with my saw, I walked into the store today to only find out (after a $50 drop off fee) that since I didn’t buy the saw from them, they cannot repair it. What wasn’t I told that from the beginning?? In any event, I will not shop there again. The service and higher quality store in Tannersville I will go to - it’s worth the drive.

Staffing seems to be getting better in quantity and quality. Prices are good, still have a lot of basic stuff locked up but it's not as bad to get someone available to get you what you need. If they improve their security and take down the cages, I would give them 5 stars

this Ace is awesome. I had a water softener leak all over my basement on Labor Day. I needed a few fittings to bypass until I could replace to fix leak. I arrived right after they closed. I explained it was an emergency and my situation. They allowed me to enter store and grab the stuff I needed to make repair. GREAT service and bunch of employees.

It depends who's by the cashier there's a young lady very professional and she's customer friendly. She gets a 5 star on customer service. There's an older lady with horrible customer service and she seems to always be in a bad mood; she gets zero stars. Overall good place good people somethings are pricey other things are not. I go there often and they always have what I need when I need it. It's not perfect but their good outweighs the bad.

It's literally just ok. Nothing bad about it, except very limited selection of items in certain categories, like chainsaws, weed eaters, summer outdoor power tool stuff. Otherwise not bad for a quick in/out for smaller household needs. This would be an upgrade from what an old mom and pop hardware shop was... if you're looking for better selection of power tools, I'd recommend a home depot or Lowe's for sure.

Everyone here is great! Always very helpful. Prices are slightly higher than Home Depot but they're just down the street and super friendly. Worth the extra little bit of money.

This Ace Hardware is a fantastic, well run establishment. I worked here for 11 months and for the most part I enjoyed my time. What I can say to any future employees and/or customers is that the people that work here are top notch. The customer service specifically is great. No matter what they'll give you their full attention. I can't say that about many other stores.

Sale price on bird seed was double the price of previous week and then wouldn't honor $5 coupon because it was a sale item, really? Sad, when they opened the help was very nice, last few times they act like their doing you the favor. I used to recommend them to everybody especially for hard to find items but not no more.

Ace does not treat his clients well and does not honor the coupons, they always have an excuse for not using the discount and I have been a customer for a year and I never received a discount.Today was my last purchase and I do not recommend this place to anyone. some very poorly educated too slow. The advantage is that there are other places to buy. I give it a star because there is no lower option. They sell very expensive

Small, but decent selection. Prices are reasonable. Hard to find someone to unlock cages the few times I needed tools. Only one or two busy staff it seems.
