They treat my little Rocco like their own. The vet techs remember that he has little sweaters, his Instagram, and are just so nice to us. He’s had 2 blockages and a dental cleaning when he was young, I trusted them and they took care of him and now he’s back to full health. I’ll continue to take him and my future pets.

My dogs were patients at another vet and we had a minor incident that required speed but wasn’t emergent. I couldn’t get in to our vet for over a week. Brodheadsville vet got us in in less than 24 hours even though they’d never seen us before. They were all so kind and pleasant and excellent with our dog. They understood the situation even over the phone and were ready and willing to do whatever it took to help us. And help us they did! They were able to address the problem right then, did a minor procedure, and got us meds all for an EXTREMELY reasonable price. They are so fantastic. I was so stressed and panicked when I called and they just… handled it! Took incredible care of me and my dog when we needed it. I am so grateful to them and will recommend them to anyone who ever asks.

I found myself in a desperate position to get help for my sweet guinea pig. My regular vet was unavailable, and exotics are much harder to find care for. Dr Goldstein and her tech Brittany were able to squeeze us in as an emergency and I will be forever grateful for the knowledgeable and compassionate care Blossom and I received. Although Blossom didn't make it, at least we were able to ease her suffering. Thank you for the kindness you both showed, and I will definitely be returning with my small animals in the future.

Went there for 1st time with my sweet boy Magee just for his yearly check up and vaccines. I waited maybe 10 mins to be seeing. The doctor and the vet tech were very attentive and gentle with Magee. They took the time to explain everything to me. I’d definitely come back when needed.

Super friendly and I felt so welcomed by the staff and the Doctor !!! Everyone loved my new little puppy Cooper and I knew he was in great hands ! I can’t thank them enough for taking my worries away and helping my puppy! Being new here in this area we will be returning and this will be our vet! Thank you for going above and beyond staff and doctor to be friendly, compassionate, and made both of us happy ! Cooper is feeling better and that I’m grateful! Thank you so much ❤️Dr. McAleer is such an amazing and wonderful vet her passion in being a vet showed. she was educational to me about my puppy. I am so glad we meant and my puppy has a great doctor to take care of him. Also and a great vet to make his mommy reassure he is in good hands . This was my first time coming here my visit was absolutely wonderful because of the the out pouring compassion my puppy was sick and how cute he was . They are wonderful please if you need a vet go here look no further!!

Absolutely the best place to bring your fur babies. Dr Bishop has to be one of the best Dr's. Very caring and so honest. The staff is the best as well. They go out of their way for you and do whatever is necessary to make your experience smooth. 10 Stars.

I took my cat here as she was matted and needed to have them removed. This cat does not like ANYONE but me ."Toulouse" went crazy and the vet came up with a plan to get the mats removed so I did not have to make a second trip. Reviewed the cost prior to the removal.They are a very great group of professionals .I will be taking my other pets here as well.GREAT FIND as a new resident to the area!Thank You Broadhead Veterinary!!!

The staff was very warm and welcoming of Daxter and I! Our vet techs were very informative and answered all of my questions. I was very anxious for my puppy’s first appointment but was made very comfortable and was ensured my puppy was in good hands! Daxter also received treats and a ball to make him more Comfortable ❤️

I moved up to this area 3 months ago and I’ve been to Brodheadsville at least 6-8 times already. I’m a breeder and having a lot of dogs and puppies means we have seen a lot of vets for routine and emergency visits over the years and having worked in the veterinary field myself, I really take notice and appreciate how amazing this practice has been to work with. For puppy visits, they are very thorough with each puppy, and have pointed out small things that others have missed in the past. Our dogs going in for routine visits are treated with compassion and kindness, and they remain in the room for bloodwork and vaccines instead of being taken away from us. Most recently, our buddy Moose cut his paw and they were able to get him in within an hour of me requesting an appointment. They could have easily racked up a large bill at that appointment but instead chose to take a more conservative approach and allow us to care for it at home and monitor. They called us to check on how he was doing which I also appreciated. Every receptionist, tech and doctor has had a good attitude and genuinely seems to care about building a rapport with the dog. The pricing is fair and scheduling time to get an appointment is well within a reasonable time frame for whatever the nature of the visit is. They have been on time when we got there and if ever there was a wait it was for a very valid reason. We understand some things are more urgent than what we have going on. So I just wanted to say thank you for for the exceptional care and peace of mind, we will definitely be back!

We were seen by Dr.Bishop & vet tech Kris today. I couldn’t have had a better experience. They were so patient, thorough and kind. They treated my sheltie Tate, with so much love & care and made us both feelSo comfortable. They did not make me feel rushed (even though I asked so many questions), and I left feeling confident and relieved. All five of our pets are now seen at this practice and we couldn’t be any happier with the way they treat our animals, the way they treat us, and their fair pricing. They always get us in for an appointment ASAP, and there is never a long wait period. Thank you for all that you do, and for putting your hearts into your careers because it definitely shows. Update: I still bring my Buddy here. They are kind & caring.I brought my dog here for a 2nd opinion from an emergency vet visit that after 2 weeks I was still not seeing improvement. The 1st vet didn't seem to try since I couldn't afford to admit him. They did a lot of testing and stronger antibiotics and steroids and probiotics that helped my pet over a near death experience. He would have died without their help.

Update: 5 stars downgraded to 2 stars. Our vet cancelled us today at 3 minutes into our appointment time while we were almost there. Our fault for being late. However, they seemed unsympathetic to the fact that our dogs do not like car rides and it does take time to get them in. Also we had their 90 year old owner who also tine and energy in transporting.This really bothers us. I will readjust the score if someone can call us back to address our concerns.Very let down with this entire office at this point. I will leave up my original review - as it is true and still relevant. But our score drops as customer service still matters. And they dropped the ball today.————// Original review:I am a local Poconos real estate agent that will be recommending this practice to all my pet owner clients. I'm thoroughly impressed by the care and professionalism here. Everyone is friendly and they obviously care about what they are doing. Upon our initial visit the vet sat right on the floor and became friends with my dog, before getting into problem solving and creating a great care plan for our Caramel. That's the kind of old school excellence I like! Highly recommended veterinary practice for experience, morale, compassion and competence.

I had what I thought was an emergency with my senior dog. They were able to fit me in that day. Dr MacIntyre was very knowledgeable and thorough. She was very pleasant and left me feeling reassured we were taking the proper steps. The tecks were very nice and very good with my dog.

Horrible experience! I brought my 2 dogs in for a dental exam and after the receptionist was done talking with her coworkers she took my name. After the exam the assistant told me it would cost me between $2,500 and $3,500 That cost ridiculously high!

I have always had a great experience bringing my dog here. He's a rescue and gets very anxious at the vet so he needs to be on pre-vet meds and muzzled while he's there, and they take such good care of him and never make me feel bad about his behavior even though he growls/barks at them most of the time (sorry!). Dr Goldstein is who I've seen and she explains exactly what's going on and recommends the most cost effective solution possible. I always get nervous bringing my dog to the vet because of his reactivity but they make me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great care. They treated my animal like he was their own, but WOW is it expensive. $400 for annual preventative care/shots for a dog is more than I pay for myself.
