I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my sister in law whose nanny just passed away. Action did same day delivery and was so nice over the phone as I am in NY. I know nothing about flowers so I said white. The woman recommended color so that in this sad time it would bring happiness when you look at it. It was exactly what I needed to hear and was so sweet. So we did color. Again, I have no clue about flowers so I told her to work her magic and I put full trust in her. Well, I am glad I did. Look at this stunning bouquet that brought such happiness to my sister in law and her family! Thank you Action and the sweet woman I spoke with over the phone.

Action was able to deliver a beautiful bouquet of flowers to help someone grieving. With their help, I was able to provide some comfort from a distance. Not only did they provide a beautiful bouquet and quick delivery, they were also very kind and thoughtful over the phone. I highly recommend this florist!

We ordered an arrangement that was supposed to be PICKED UP at 1030am. However a car accident prevented me from getting it. One of the owners actually dropped it off at my house in a timely fashion. I would recommend this place for the quality of their work and dedication to their customers. I was highly satisfied with doing business with them and will do it again!😃

I'm from out of town but used to live in the area, I bought flowers from them 20 years ago and they were great. I called for flowers recently for local delivery and they were still amazing. Gave them a price point, color scheme, and they knocked it out of the park. They have been the same owners for 33 years, I suggest to order direct and support local business, you get more for your money. Lovely owners, they care about your order. Trust them to make an arrangement for you, they know what they are doing. Thank you!

Very happy with the beautiful dish garden purchased for a friend. A family run company and in business for over 30+ years, the florist was kind, informative and helpful with suggestions.Please know, this florist shop is one of the few true brick and mortar stores in the area.If you google florists, results will show names of stores that dont exist but are virtual fronts for a centralized company located in California. (think ProFlowers,TeleFlora...)Its deceiving because the agent on the phone will claim the shop you are calling exists when it doesn't. If you place an order based on a photo you see online, these companies will use the local florist shops to fulfill the order.Its best to avoid them and just call your actual florist like Action Florist and Gift. It will eliminate confusion and disappointment in the long run.

called for flowers for my moms birthday and Action Florist & Gift House went above and beyond!! i asked for something happy and bright and not only did they make the most perfect bouquet, the customer service was the best i’ve had in such a long time! they were in contact every step of the way to ensure it was amazing. they even threw in the most beautiful roses and wooden roses free of charge!! i HIGHLY recommend this wonderful business!!!!

I live in Canada and Mother's Day always seems to creep up on me! I grew up in Effort and this is where my mom lives. I remember Action Florist & Gift House from when I was a kid growing up in the area. I'm always happy to see that they are still in business because they are always very friendly and helpful. Even though it's 2:30pm on the Friday before Mother's Day Sunday, they are still going to deliver flowers to my mom for me! I cannot say enough good things about this business!

I needed flowers ASAP and when I called Action Florist, the owner, Janice, couldn't have been more helpful! She assured me my order would go out promptly (and it did) and she even added more flowers to the order - specially crafted wooden ones actually - which the recipient loved because they're permanent & a reminder of the beautiful bouquet she got. Next time I go up to the Poconos, I plan on stopping in and thanking Janice in person - what a nice lady! Thank you!

I live out of state and am so glad the online florist canceled my order the day of my friend’s 80th birthday because it led me to Action Florist. They were wonderful to work with, were able to provide same day delivery and created a beautiful bouquet! The flowers were so fresh that almost four weeks later my friend is still sending pictures showing how many flowers she still has! I only wish Action florist had another location by my home!

I live in New York & my mom lives not far from Action Florist. I found them on the web a few years ago and have been using them ever since. Their flowers are fresh & arrangements are beautiful & the people at the store are a pleasure to speak to on the phone. My mom is always happy when she receives a delivery from them. We recently had a death in the family. Many of our friends live far from here so they used Google to find a florist to have something delivered to our house. Several people used Action Florist and we are so glad they did. The first bouquet arrived soon after my mother passed away, so my sister and I were still sort of a wreck. I have never seen such a beautiful arrangement -- not at a wedding, not at a special event. It was literally a work of art, sort of a sculpture of live flowers. Two days later, the delivery guy from Action arrived at our house again. This time we got a planter which is sitting right behind me at the moment. The plants look fantastic and I'm pretty sure we'll be able to transplant the different varieties at some point and keep a lasting memory of this gift. I had never heard of this business before but I will use them any time I need to send flowers in this region.

Flowers were arranged nicely but the ribbon was inside the vase scrunched up and the 2 roses were frozen. Some of the flowers were already dying. This isn't the first time I've had this experience. These were a Mother's Day surprise from my nephew in Indiana and I don't know how much they were charged but I think it was probably more than it was worth. I personally will not use them again!

I love action florist! My fiance has been buying me roses from that shop for over a year now and they are always perfect, gorgeous and last for a very long time if properly cared for. I have personally been shopping there for over 20 years and I have never gotten anything that wasn't a beautiful bouquet or gift. The owners/staff are top rate and take pride in their work.

Action Florist just responded to an emergency. Another florist in the area had taken my online order. When I called the next day to confirm the order, I was told that they didn't deliver to that zip code. Action came to the rescue and delivered an arrangement within 30 minutes of receiving my call.
