All I'm trying to do is call and see if they have any at home covid tests during this spike right now and the woman answering the phone is picking up, hanging up and laughing about it while I keep trying to call back about a test for my kid. She says "hello" and immediately hangs up while I'm still trying to get my first word out of my mouth. My daughter's health is not a joke, do your job.

While traveling to a Pirates game my 3yr old needed to use the restroom and we got told to go to McDonald’s. Their restrooms looked to be public, but I was told they were for employees only. I’ll never step foot in another rite aid.

Will never step foot into this store again. I understand now why Rite Aid is closing so many locations. Rite Aid is horrible at customer service. They refused to sell me Dayquil unless I showed them my identification, claiming that such is the law. That law actually states that "[a] person making a retail sale of a finished drug product containing any quantity of dextromethorphan shall obtain proof of age from the purchaser before completing the sale UNLESS THE PURCHASER'S OUTWARD APPEARANCE IS SUCH THAT A PERSON WOULD REASONABLY PRESUME THE PURCHASER TO BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE" 18 PA Cons Stat § 6322 (2022). I am 53 years old and look every bit of 53 years of age. Went to Walmart and bought the Dayquil with no problem and no identification. Glad I did too because the product was less expensive there. Way to alienate your customers Rite Aid! Take your business to any other pharmacy.

Horrendous pharmacy. South Fayette should push this business out and bring in a more competent pharmacy. I've never had a positive experience in 2 years going here. Just look at the reviews; all say the same. Finally transferred all my family's scripts out to the Giant Eagle down the street.Some personal highlights:1. Their bathrooms being out of service for several months. My daughter had to go to the bathroom and peed herself in their store. What do their employees do?!2. No one answering the drive-thru. Had to deal with bringing 2 kids inside (one with a 103 degree temp) to stand in a long line to learn that they didn't fill my daughter's antibiotic that was sent in several hours earlier.3. Never actually met the pharmacist.4. No one answering their phones in the pharmacy.5. Closing the pharmacy several minutes early at the end of the night.6. Terrible pharmacy hours.

I have been going to this pharmacy for the longest time, however, over the last few months I have been repeatedly experiencing the worst customer service. I am always waiting in line whether it’s the drive thru or inside the store for a minimum of 20 minutes. Being that every location is short staffed, the wait times are understood and respected. However, they never answer the phone call at the pharmacy and I had to drive down to the store just to make sure my medicine was being filled. I called numerous times in one day just to be greeted with an automated . When I did come to the store, the young pharmacist told me they were too busy and will talk to my doctor whenever available, meaning she refused to check for my medicine again. Coming to this pharmacy to collect prescriptions has been a tough task.

Choose literally any other pharmacy. This was genuinely some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m not typically one to leave reviews on businesses because everyone has bad days, but let me tell you, EVERY single worker behind the pharmacy desk was incredibly rude. I have great insurance, it has always covered all prescriptions. The lady behind the desk told me my insurance would’ve cover this prescription and it was going to pay out of pocket. (Wasn’t a cheap prescription) I told her kindly it should be covered it always has been. She got incredibly snotty with me and rolled her eyes and asked me to wait a few minutes. 30 minutes passed and I was still without help. Another lady tried to help me and I said I was already being helped but thank you and she got snippy with me and asked for my name. I asked her to give me the prescription fill paper back and that I was going to another pharmacy after being treated this way. While I was there I watched many others have issues with the ladies working. I took the script to giant eagle and they had it filled for me in 10 minutes, no charge, as I knew should’ve been the case.

Do not use this Rite Aid. I recently switched to another pharmacy after years of dealing with ridiculous issues with this Rite Aid. The final straw for me was when I was at a dr. appointment the other week--the nurse informed me that I had 3 prescriptions on my file that were not mine. We determined that rite aid had added these prescriptions onto my file a few months ago that were not mine. The nurse said this could've been a major issue as they would've prescribed me different medications depending on if I were on these other random medications or not. Also, there are clearly people who are unable to fill their prescriptions because their medication was randomly put on my file. Additionally, they told me they had filled my prescription a few weeks ago, but when I went to pick it up, they then informed me that my prescription was now at another pharmacy. They really didn't think to call me beforehand to let me know that they didn't have it, and then the pharmacist had an attitude when I questioned why they didn't think to let me know of this change. These people don't know what they're doing--you'll save yourself a lot of stress using another pharmacy.

If you are looking for a pharmacy that treats you as an inconvenience then this is your place! If you are looking for a pharmacy that refuses to answer the phone, then this is the place! Every month I get a text your script will be filled on DATE and then magically on that date my script is never ready, crazy right? So, I wait a day, I get it they are busy and poorly managed, so I decide to call (2 days after it should have been filled) to see when it will be ready and guess what, no answers the phone!! I hope the District Manager who runs this area sees this message, you have a serious problem at this pharmacy. I recommend teaching your perfectly able-bodied team members behind that counter to pick up the phone! The fact I have to drive over bc no one answers the phone is a problem. Luckily for me I can drive and get over there to see what the deal is with my script that was due 2 days ago, but not everyone can. Once you train them to not be afraid to answer the phone, work on how they treat the customers. I should never feel like I am the problem or bothering them. I am guessing these employees at the pharmacy treat the customers the same way management treats them as employees? They are frustrated and understaffed (not the customers problem) so they take it out on the customer. Figure your stuff out! Last time I fill here!

I’ve had repeated problems with this pharmacy throughout the years. I hesitate to write this review because I understand pharmacy workers are incredibly underpaid, but this is truly far and away the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I’ve got a prescription on hold that requires me to call and ask a person to fill it, and sometimes I need to try upwards of 6 times before someone actually picks up the phone. Then, they’ll say it will be ready in 30 minutes. On multiple occasions (like today) it’s taken over 24 hours to fill a single prescription. Once they even filled and gave me the entirely wrong prescription! Do whatever you can to avoid this place.

I went in to pick up a prescription today and walked up to the counter at 129pm. They were closing it up for lunch? and I asked could I pick up my prescription. Someone yelled out NOOO! WERE CLOSED UNTIL 2! Something so easy to allow yet they were so rude about it. As I walked away surprised, I hear someone else chime in back there saying, "ohh he mad at you". Usually the people are so nice here at this location.

Yesterday, I called the pharmacy around 3:30pm and no one answered after I called 4 times including the doctor line. Finally, when I got thru the technician said they were short staffed. I then asked if I could transfer my very sick daughter's script to their pharmacy for pick up around 530pm. She said she wasn't sure how long it would take. I asked if they could please do it because that's when my husband will be in the area to pick my son up. She said they'll be able to do it. Then around 6pm, my husband with two kids under 3 in the car pulled up in the drive thru, the drive thru was closed due to short staffing. So, my husband ran into the store quickly and waited behind 6 people. When he got to the counter, they said the transfer wasn't done. My husband was furious. What's wrong with health care? My daughter had a 105 fever and needed her nausea medicine and because this store was short staffed all urgent scripts didn't exist. I hope I don't come back for awhile until they get more people working there.

Positive:Store is super clean and I have rarely had an issue finding an over the counter product.Negative:Never in my life have I experienced a pharmacy that is either so understaffed or so mismanaged.Drive thru pick up is a blessing if there’s only one car there, but if there’s two or more vehicles in line, pack a lunch! It could take you 20 minutes just to get to the window. Then once you do make it to the window, you better make sure you hit the yellow call button, otherwise the people behind the glass will ignore you.My last visit I saw the line of cars wrapped around the front of the building. Knowing that I did not want to have to camp in my car just to pick up a prescription, I went inside the store. There was a line of six people waiting on two employees to help them while the pharmacist and another female, plugged away at the computer. It’d be nice to see the pharmacist and the other individual actually step up to help cut the line down.Pretty much the only efficient part of this pharmacy is the automated refill phone line, but when that doesn’t work, you have to transfer to the pharmacy, which will probably ring until someone picks up and hangs up on you (after waiting on hold for 20 minutes).If this pharmacy is that busy that cars have to wrap around the front building, lines in the store can resemble a line as long as a cafeteria pay line, and employees can’t even be bothered to answer the phone, I’d suggest hiring more people or get someone with better management skills.

The pharmacy here has sunken to deplorable levels. The pharmacists are nice, but it's so understaffed that you can't do walk-in COVID vaccination updates. Nor can you get an appointment for a COVID vaccination honored in time. The guy before me was waiting 20 minutes after his time and still hadn't been seen. I will simply walk in to Giant Eagle from now on, despite the drive. At least I know I can get in and out without spending a day in line.

I'm sure it's because they are understaffed, but I've been having issues with my refills the past couple months. I'm going on one day without 2 of my medications because my refills that I submitted last week are still not done. I've called 3 times today and no one answers. I'll be going there after work now to see what's going on.Update: The orders are all backed up, which is understandable with everything going on. I realized the best way to get your refills, is going to the store and waiting there for it to be filled. Even if you use the refill systems in place, they still won't have them filled in time, unfortunately.

Terrible. Genuinely the worst customer service I have ever seen. I had placed an order online for in-store pickup. There was one item in my order and it would have taken about 30 seconds for an employee to grab it and fulfill my order. When I placed the order online it said my order would be ready within an hour. I arrive at the store and call the number posted to let the staff know I was there and ready to pick up my order. The employee I spoke to didn’t even seem to know what in store pick up was and handed me off to the manager. Manager was clueless, rude, and unhelpful. No one at the store even knew an in-store pick up order had been placed. The manager said they didn’t shop it yet. As my order was a singular item I asked if they would just cancel my order and I would go get it myself since I was already there. The manager didn’t know how to cancel an order, offered me no solutions or assistance and laughed as they hung up the phone. Almost four hours after I had placed my order I get an email saying that it was ready. They fulfilled my order at 9:50- ten minutes before close. Making it impossible for me to actually be able to pick up said order. Don’t even advertise in store pick up if you aren’t going to actually provide the service. Unprofessional, lazy, and embarrassing way to run a store. A service that is supposed to be quick, easy, and convenient has literally turned into the most painful shopping experience I have ever had.

You can’t call your prescriptions in because they don’t pick up the phone. I got very ill because my prescriptions were not filled in time as they are so understaffed. When you are in the business of people’s health, you have a responsibility to provide them with their medications in a timely manner. Transferring my prescriptions and staying far, far away. If you need your prescription on time, this is NOT the place to have it filled!

I wish I could give a negative star! The employees and management are extremely rude and unprofessional! I called and sat on hold for an hour yesterday transferred call to front register and was told from the employee that the pharmacy is too busy to answer calls. So I decided to wait until the following day and call I have been calling since they opened the pharmacy at 9 am it is currently ten am and I am still on hold! I hung up called back and asked to speak to a manager at which point he told me in an extremely rude voice they are too busy and he would go back a tell them I am on the phone. So then someone in the pharmacy picks up the phone 10 minutes later to say hold please fast forward 5 mins someone picks the phone up says we are short handed what is the patients name I give it to her and without saying anything puts me back on hold it is 10:23 and at this point I am hanging up to call a near by pharmacy and switch due to lack of ability and professionalism by bridgeville rite aid employees!

This is the worst Rite Aid EVER!! Update belowUnder staffed, untrained and obnoxious employees. You would be lucky if someone EVER picks up your phone. Pharmacy staff needs basic CUSTOMER SERVICE training. I don't care if you are BUSY. I'm a paying customer, I NEED GOOD SERVICE. You just lost one customer!!!07/25 - What a bunch of incompetent people!! I had to stop by 4 times to get medications with insurance company override while going on a vacation.

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. Pharmacists are extremely rude and it’s always a hassle!! They are completely argumentative and have no regard for your Doctors orders. My daughter has a rare medical condition and they are constantly trying new dosages and adding to the existing ones and it’s a hassle every single time. I would never recommend anyone to this pharmacy.

Bridgeville pharmacy always makes sure my prescriptions are ready days before I run out. So I have time to find a ride to the pharmacy since I can't drive. The pharmacist were always so nice. I have moved and switched Rite Aids and my new one only gives me one or two days to pick up a prescription and also told me they won't fill a important prescription and I've gone a day or two without it. Wish I could go back to the Bridgeville Rite Aid.

Terribly rude pharmacists. Continually 4+ hours late on filling perscriptions (and will give you attitude when you request it be filled when you arrived on time), and gave me 32 pills in a bottle labeled to have 45. Going out of my way to go to a different pharmacy.

Went there & was told they were understaffed, they always only have one person in the pharmacy to check you out all the time, close if you can't even answer the phone!

Every time I go in to buy something, Carla (along with another woman who always works the registers on Saturday morning, but I don’t recall her name) is always visibly super friendly and personable. She always goes out of her way to be kind/helpful. She’s a huge asset to your company. It’s rare to find someone so professional in that career.

This has to be the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. There are 20 people in line and they don’t have anyone’s script ready , the lady says to every person ,” oh this just came in it’ll be 20-30 min . The doctor sent the script at 2:45 pm it’s now 8:30 pm

Tried to book a vaccine and they directed me 9 miles away to McKees Rocks when another rite aid is right here where I live in Bridgeville PA. Also there are 2 stores within a mile of each other in MckeesRocks that have the vaccine but nothing closer to me and this is not some rural area, I'm 20 minutes from downtown, ( it takes over a half hour to get to McKeesRocks because of the hilly terrain of the Pittsburgh Area). Hopefully this will change but I'm not holding my breath. PA in bottom 10 out of 50 states.Nice work elected and unelected officials?
