I usually order my groceries online for pickup. The personal shoppers are always polite and helpful. The pickup process is very easy. The issue lately is after getting home finding several items that are at or past the use/sell by dates. This is unacceptable especially at the premium prices that GE charges. This location needs to do a better job at checking their expired inventory and also have the personal shoppers check dates on perishables before passing on the customers.

Lot's of products passed their best by date. A lot of their sale prices do not come up when you check out. They only had one checkout lane open when I was checking out on saturday, and all the self checkouts were closed as well.

Smaller Giant Eagle but we'll stocked and clean. Produce is fresh. Using Scan and Go is the way to shop. Makes it faster and easier.

Fancy! Very quiet and very clean. Set up different too. I'm so used to my meeeeh GE with narrow aisles!! Shocked you don't have sushi!!! It's the reason we stopped here!

Cole (produce dept) is one of the best workers I have ever encountered. He made sure that I was happy with the purchase of green beans on on store visit, and today with carrots by going to the stock room to purchase the freshest vegetable. His demeanor is always pleasant; no attitude of being bothered (as I have seen with other grocery stores). He has the attributes of being a store manager some day, he should be recognized as a valued employee. Thank you.

Avoid this place at all costs. Did a curb side pickup order . Several items past the Best Buy date, several produce items severely damaged and moldy , and Giant Eagle didn’t apply any of the sale prices to the items I purchased. When I contacted customer service about it they basically told me “ to bad so sad” . What horrific serviceUpdate in December 2023:This location got me again with expired foods. Many foods within the store are already 5+ days past Best Buy date . Then waited 20 minutes to check out when the store wasn’t even busy . Giant Eagle is so expensive and now that they are trying to sneak expired foods to paying customers I won’t be giving them my business anymore

I love that they have the beer And wine and spirits store located all in the same place. Their ground meat here is the best out of all grocery places! Staff for the most part are very very friendly. Prices here are a little higher but your paying for quality that's for sure. Thank you guys!!!💯👍

Its a good thing the eagle is giant.. because a regular size.. medium size or even small eagle simply wouldn't do at all. You'd never know by the name this is a grocery store chain, but despite their giant size... I saw no eagles..

Glad this store maintained some of its former Shop 'n Save floor arrangement with the wider aisles. They just added a row of electric car chargers on the edge of the parking lot, guessing they are Tesla chargers, similar to the ones at their Village Square store.

Since I've had to start shopping with an electric cart, I've become more aware of the conditions and availability of the carts they have available. They only have two, and they are rickety at best. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate being able to use them, but the ride isn't very smooth.

My advantage card for some reason didn’t work & we were charged full price. So we went to customer service only to be told by cashier that the manager is on break & unreachable & that we have to stand here till they finish their break so we can get a resolution! I’m a manager in corporate and we always have a back up manager when somebody is on break. this is unacceptable! Will not be back to this location.

The fresh produce section is not fresh at all. Not only do they not stock much organic fruits and vegetables, but the non organic most often look old and near spoiled. I don’t know if it’s supply issue or inventory management issue but it should be addressed by the store managers.

Love shopping at this Giant Eagle near me. Always clean. The aisles aren't obstructed. The workers are friendly and helpful. Always have great produce and meats selections.

Small and cozy. Pharmacy, bakery and state store in -store. Improved check- out. GE is expensive. Shopping for sale items with coupons helps. You can't beat the fuel perks! But I do miss the double coupons! Always clean. Meat is good quality.

Deli is horrible! Yes it might seem annoying when someone orders thin sliced cheese but it never comes fresh or sliced thin when placing orders on the app even when it’s marked in the notes to slice thin! Laziest deli employees

We've switched to almost exclusive curbside pickup and we've almost always had a perfect experience. The new communication during the shopping is helpful but sometimes a little buggy, messages don't seem to always come through right away. Nonetheless this has been a great way to stay safe and save time shopping for groceries !

It's becoming quite annoying that priority is curbside pick up. I'm very annoyed that they have chosen to go almost completely self checkout. Today is my last day to do my full grocery shopping trip. Lower the prices and offer employee discount to all and I'll be happy to checkout and bag my own things. But taking jobs away from people is not cool (this is how it is perceived when you turn all lanes but 2 at most to self checkout and 1 is considered "express'without any signage).

Only go here if you like that they're germ a phobic. What's the purpose of cashers that will touch your stuff you touched to ring it up and then the pics is for them to be afraid to touch money. And yes I know it's probably management that's problem

Been shopping at South Fayette for years. Staff and managers of all departments are professional and accommodating. Friendly workers go out of their way to help shoppers. The store layout is random. Corporate should redesign. Bathrooms need steam cleaned by outside dedicated company,moping is not enough. Opened delimeat area is too small and lack room for organization of opened packages. Deli workers keep area clean and sliders clean of pieces of unusable material in blades. People miss the the previous ownership style of layout and brand choice. There have been improvements in the meat and deli departments. Each department in the store has friendly, capable staff.Update: Bathroom for ladies is filthy. White grout never cleaned.since last visit. Sinks in poor repair. Please update stalls. Scrub and steam tile. Prefer privately owned Eagle in Chartiers Shops. This is Corporate. Also, why must corporate move stock every few months. Some deli employee in SouthFayette needs trainingI want paper on slicer tray not your dirty gloves hand. Reason I avoid deli when he is there. Management knows. Saw other deli worker, older guy, correct him.Please have bathrooms cleaned. Need area to sit and have snack and beverage. Ice Machine is still gone after 5 years. Quit moving stuff around!!!! Corporate store Mgr could do better. All staff are helpful. Deli is poor. Prob need more room. Cut to order. Pharmacy is fantastic.

Overall good shopping and you find everything, they also have western union money transfer. Good and polite staff too. The reason I gave 4 stars is because there is usually one person at the customer service counter where they handle money transfers, exchanges, lottery stuff etc... and wait time is more.

Tried to use points that were about to expire to pay for my groceries. I gave my giant eagle card with the points to the cashier with my credit card after my items were scanned. The cashier said I couldn't use my points after she scanned my items. She never asked if I was going to use them before ringing up my items. She was rude about the situation. I went to customer service to see if they could help, but they were also dismissive and very rude. Terrible experience.
