I love this location! The store is well stocked, has a large variety of products at reasonable prices, and the staff is awesome! Everyone I’ve dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. The snack bar is perfect for delicious treats at very low prices. Store is clean and easy to navigate. Lots of parking. Optical. Bakery. Deli. Hot Foods. Gas station on site. Use the app for coupons and specials.

We joined this club because it was close to Upper St. Clair and the gas prices are always about 15 cents cheaper than other gas stations. We ended up buying the BJ’s Mastercard, which helped us to get gas at an additional 15 cents off! We originally joined this place as they were the only ones to carry Ensure Plus (chocolate flavor), but now they are slowly phasing it out! However, we have found good deals for car tires, dehumidifier, etc. and have been able to recoup the annual fees in the rebates that they provide. It is surely a good value for money to become a member of BJ’s. We mostly buy produce, chocolates, healthcare products, some clothing, and bulk usage items such as rice, olive oil, oats, etc. I have not found any issues with quality like some of them have complained below. I recommend this place.

Never heard of or been to this place before but found it by accident and loved it!I've been to Sam's and Costco but this one seemed to have better prices and different product.I got a friend a wonderful gift basket for $20 and she loved it! I live 40mins away but the drive is well worth it.The little Cafe thing inside of it had the best and biggest chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. My SO and I shared half. Delicious sugar free drink options too!I was able to use my work and got the yearly membership down to $25 a year. The workers were super nice and I can't wait to go back!

This was my first time going to BJ's. I am also a member of Costco in Robinson. I would say the prices at BJ's for the things I buy are a little bit more than what Costco sells them for, even with their coupons. BJ's has an excellent variety of products, a deli, beer, wine, wi-fi, and gas. Everything was clean, well stocked, and the staff was friendly. My new member bonus and the coupons came right off the total without any issues. The location was very convenient and I enjoyed my shopping experience there

A new wholesale club carrying name brand and their own brand merchandise. Quantities sold are a bit smaller than competitors offerings. There are two levels of membership with annual renewal. Non members can 'try warehouse out" with a 20% upcharge on everything purchased. The upcharge paid could be applied to a new membership if person opts for it within the week. Some name brand items seem to be on par if not more than grocery stores. All credit cards accepted. In addition to groceries, you can purchase household and automotive supplies, limited amount of clothing. pet food, holiday goods, books and more.Scattered throughout are employees offering you free samples of some of their foods. They have their own gas station outside with discounted pricing for members. The honor manufacturer's coupons in addition to in house coupons.Be aware of the fact that during checkout you must put your items on the belt. The cashier will scan your merchandise and put it in the cart that was used by the customer ahead of you which makes your cart available for the person behind you. That cart is not sanitized between customers.Time will tell as to how it will fare. 2nd location at the block Northway will open early next year.

Was a member at BJ's Philadelphia and later New England and was excited to see BJ's was coming to South Fayette. Prices are mostly comparable to Sam's and Costco but the produce is disappointing. You have to be careful and examine before you buy--often it's moldy, soft, or overripe. I absolutely do not purchase produce with the store pickup because they consistently give me the most damaged, ripest and moldiest produce. The Wellsley Farms items are good substitutes with the brand. I've had issues with the in-app coupons not working at checkout--mostly the BOGO coupons. I had a staff member help me at checkout and they just took off two coupons that were, in total, less than one item, totally missing the mark on the coupon. The online website is slow/buggy and the app is terrible. It often freezes, shuts down, doesn't apply the discounts, tells me in-store items are out (they aren't, I have gone in and found them aplenty), and doesn't recognize that I've arrived at the club for pickup. There's no visible number to call outside so I have to look it up and wait on hold for 15 minutes to get someone to bring me my items. I used to do pick up once per week, but I often have to turn right around when I get home because: wrong items, half order missing, produce is rotten. It is REALLY difficult to get the orders corrected since you have to call customer service, are shuffled through numerous people and on hold for anywhere from 1-15 minutes, then have to drive BACK there to get the missing/replacement items. Once I had them bring it to my car as I had crutches, and it took an additional 30 minutes to call someone once I got to the club, wait on hold, and talked to 2 people to get one person to bring me the rest of my order (I had to tell them what was missing 3 times). In total, that was an additional hour more than I should have spent. Often you have to go inside the store to rectify the problem and wait however long the customer service line may be, which totally negates the convenience of pickup. Most recently I purchased an OTC medication and the bottle came DESTROYED--plastic cracked and broken into the bottle. Like, HOW? WHY? WHO? And finally, the gas prices aren't that good. The Sheetz on Washington Pike often has better prices and Getgo is comparable. I'm really disappointed in this club and would love literally an competitor to come to the area and take my money because I cannot continue with this store.

Staff are kind and seem to be doing their best. The system is screwed though. Most recent experience: made an online pickup order. The location was changed to a different BJs (that I've never shopped at). Called that store as a courtesy anyway to let them know Im not going there for the order. Couldn't cancel the order, so they just ride it out for 2 days, then it self-cancels. I placed another order for same items and triple checked the location. Picked everything up and needed to return one item on the order. Went inside to return the item (they can't do it during the pickup). Waited in line while one person tried to handle the while line. Spent a solid 20 minutes to return a ham, while the other groceries hung out in my car. In general, the app can never locate me while I'm right outside of the store for a pickup. It's not unusual to have to find an associate to get my pickup order processed. Using the app in general is not the best experience (and I've used other apps for grocery pickups, as a pont of reference). However, I don't pay a membership at any of the other grocery stores that I frequent.

We used to love belonging to BJ's when we lived in Upstate New York and transferred our loyalty to Costco when we moved here. So, when we learned that it was opening a location in what is practically our neighborhood, we were super excited! This location is more convenient than Costco for us, and our memories ... Oh, our memories!Went there today and were not too disappointed. However, having been a Costco member for many years now, we can do a fair comparison. Frankly, the two are quite similar in most of their offerings. If anything, we found some areas at Costco that are better. For instance, Costco has a much bigger and broader cheese selection. Also, Costco seems to have more varieties of many items that we typically shop for. On the other hand, BJ's had a Wine and Beer shop which, while very limited, was stocked with a nice selection and had really good prices. If you want to have a snack while shopping at these stores, Costco is the place to go as BJ's offers only a Hot Dog or Pretzel basically. This last may be a thing where we need to get used to the layout, but it seemed illogical with items in odd places which made us have to backtrack a lot. So, is it worth the annual fee? Our jury is still out on that - we will have to decide if the convenience is worth it...

Do not go to the deli. It's a nightmare every single time. Here are my last three experiences at this deli:First experience here i stood in line for 30 minutes only to be told they were out of honey turkey when I was looking at a fresh package in the display. Said he wasn't allowed to open the display package for whatever reason. I stood there and explained to him that it's normal to use the display turkey when you're out and he flat out refused because it was his first day. Hopefully his last. The next week they actually had the turkey so I ordered 1lb "sliced as thing as possible" and the girl sliced up 1.8 pounds absolutely way too thick like comically thick and said "it's a little over is that okay?" I said fine and took it cause I just wanted my turkey and had waited there for a solid 20 minutes so whatever. I'll eat the comically thick turkey slices.TODAY was the final straw. Ordered the same turkey as usual and made sure to get it sliced thin. She sliced the first piece and showed it to me and it was indeed thin. So she sliced up a pound for me and I was on my way. I thought I finally had a smooth experience at this deli..... until I got home..... I got home and go to make a turkey sandwich but when I open the bag, ITS HAM. HAM. HAM IN THE TURKEY BAG. LABELED TURKEY, BUT IS HAM. Absolutely unacceptable. HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO WORK A DELI COUNTER???? Never in my life have I had a bad experience at ANY deli counter but for some reason, every one of my experiences at this deli somehow tops the last in how terrible it was.

I tried so hard to love BJs but they make it impossible to shop there.#1 issue is service. Called ahead to get propane filled, No one at the store could fill when I got there. Produce is always overripe. Once bought meat and it smelled absolutely awful when I got it home (they offered to refund me but I had to drive back to the store) Checkout attendants seem annoyed at your presence. Today’s final straw was I was actively pumping gas before 9 and the snotty attendant said it would shut off at 9. He walked into his little hut and shut it off… I cannot imagine being this actively trying to not do business. Costco is 10 minutes farther… but in my 10+ years with Costco never did I have this kind of problem.

Not a good day for tires I guess. Ordered 4 tires the other day for our SUV from the BJs website. Tires supposedly were in stock or being delivered there. Either way, the next step in the process was to schedule a date and time. I picked today at 9:30. The associate there went to find the tires. He was gone for a while. Finally he came up front and asked if I was told the tires were in? I asked why their system would allow me to pick a date and time if they weren’t in. He said he had 3 of my tires, not 4. I asked why would they send only 3 tires? He said he wasn’t sure but usually his guys call once the tires are in. I said the website doesn’t mention that at all.So he says he can’t install my tires. I took a half day off work. Now what? He says he’ll find out what happened and call me back to reschedule. It’s now 5:30pm. No call. I don’t think it takes that long to find 1 tire?I’d wait a while for these guys to get their processes in order before you waste your time. If you see my tire somewhere, please let me know.

DO NOT attempt to buy tires from here! BJs made it seem like the tires were in stock at this store when they were not. Then we waste time going to the store on bad tires to find out that they don't have the tires in stock. Then, you can't get a refund bc the tires aren't at the store yet. Someone STARTED a return, and when you look at the app it looks like maybe the tires were returned (hard to say bc nothing is clear on the app). But of course nothing happened. I called the store and they told me to call corporate. I tried to call corporate but all you can do is text them. They said oh ok, we see the issue and can fix it. Well, that was 3 weeks ago. Now every week I get an email about how they are still trying to figure out what is going on. Bj's can't figure out how to use their own systems? I'm owed over $700 and it's been 3 months now of playing around. I'm contacting the Pennsylvania State Atty General's office tomorrow and filing a formal complaint. So, if you want tires, go literally ANYWHERE ELSE BUT BJS!!!

Had four new tires installed on my vehicle. When I walked in, no one was at desk. Had to wait a few minutes till technician in work area saw me through glass. He came to desk and started checking me in. I had to sign a document he sent to printer that ran out of paper. He radioed someone and asked them to bring paper. I waited over 10 minutes and finally told him my ride was here and I had to leave. No one brought paper while I was there waiting. I noticed guy in tire center was the only one working. I wondered what would happen if he got hurt and no one was around. This place is not a safe working environment. There should be at least two people working at all times. No complaints about the technician. He was doing the best he could.

Has fair prices and value offerings...on probably something for everyone. Am committed to Costco, but will keep BJs membership for gas, produce, and a few snacks that will pay for itself. But I absolutely hate the chore of "clipping" coupons to get discounts. The app almost always misses several coupons each visit. But thankfully, some of the promotions BJs give help to make up for it. Their system sometimes double these....seemingly erroneously... but who am I to complain 🤔 😅 😏?

I believe she is an operation manager. I hate to say I don’t want to shop there when I see her. One time, I had an issue with double scanning product and she was able to solve the issue. However, her attitude was so bad. Acted like I am dumb. Today, one of three coupons didn’t go through so I was looking for a help. She came to me so I explained what happened. Maybe she didn’t understand what I said. However, she said “WHAT?!” Oh okay….I don’t need that kinds of attitude but I explained again to her. I have three coupons and two are applied. I don’t know what coupons were applied but this coupon didn’t applied(I showed the coupon to her). She said “I DON’T KNOW” and just used my phone to check . She was able to resolve my issue but I didn’t appreciate it.

Slow & rude customer service reps at front desk. Coupons never get applied at self checkout. Employees standing around offering no assistance. Sales reps harassing customers for BJ’s promotions that are not for BJ’s.

The new kid in town for warehouse clubs…BJ’s has entered the Pittsburgh metro market, giving people a choice of BJ’s, Costco and Sam’s Club. I was able to get a good deal on a membership and picked one up, even though I have a Costco membership. It is smart of BJ’s to open locations in areas where the competitors are not, and Bridgeville is a great location- just off the I-79 and very close to the Mon-Fayette Expressway. The store also has great lighting compared to Costco, being brighter inside. Another positive is really great customer service. As for selection: Similar but not identical. A strange example is Polar sparkling water. Both BJs and Costco carry 36 variety packs, but with different flavors in the mix, the grapefruit of Costco substituted for apple-lemon. BJs has less house brand like Kirkland or Members Mark from Sams Club, but has a deli counter and beer and wine sales. On the negative side: There was a lot of empty shelves reminding me how of the height of the Pandemic at times. Price cards were missing for some products. I will chalk it up for now being due to ongoing supply chain issues during peak shopping season, but I will be interested in seeing if it improves in the new year.

First time shopping at BJs, walked in and asked an employee if we had to have a membership and he said “no but if you do the prices are cheaper.” Okay great we grabbed a cart and spent an hour shopping. Towards the end we realized the we still weren’t sure we wanted to buy a membership, since it is not to close to wear we live, and is basically a inferior Costco. When we got to the register, we went to the self checkout and hit the assistance button several times, no one came. We walked over to what seemed like the manager who said it is a “membership only club”. Different answers from different employees, please get them in check. Will not be coming back.

Always has a bunch of good coupons and prices for stuff that’s not in stock, Store branded food is terrible and has scammers trying to sell you useless services. Only things that are good are the gas prices and some things in the store that are actually in stock, And the credit cards not terrible.

We think that it's a fun place to shop. Everyone wants to compare it to Costco, what I would like to say is, it is like Costco but it's really so much different. You have the opportunity at BJ's to buy smaller quantities, and they do have a deli, it's really like going to the grocery store where Costco seems like a place you go to stock up. We really didn't find that the prices were much different from Costco. As far as the staff goes they were very friendly, and there are a lot more people out on the floor to help you.

Joined when they opened only out of convenience for their location. Quickly learned to dislike it here. Salesmen try and stop you while you’re shopping. I’ve had a couple I’ve said “no thank you” to continue to follow me down aisles until I stopped responding to them at all after telling them no multiple times. I saw one guy have to yell no at a relentless salesmen to get him to go away. They offer coupons or discounts off things but you physically have to cut out the coupon or use the mobile app and have them scan that coupon. At SAMS or COSTCO you just get the discount automatically which should be the case when belonging to a wholesale club in my opinion. I get more annoyed every time I go here with random things such as the above. Also, they very rarely hand out free samples of things like the others do so it’s harder to try new things. Won’t be renewing our membership.

Love not having to dive all the way out to Sam's club in robinson. BJs has good products and good prices on par with other wholesale clubs. I only wish they wouldn't allow solicitors in the store. I hate having to go to the other side of the store and then back over just so I can avoid the dude selling cell phone plans.

This is the worst of all club stores. Customer service is at its poorest possible extremely unprofessional and if you ask for assistance forget about it they get mad about doing their jobs then management/supervisors get smart with you because they had to do work. Deli department is horrible they had 3 ppl working deli 1 being manager 2 of them just left to go on break the manager pushed out baked goods then disappeared.

My boyfriend and I came here today to see what it was like because it was new and it was absolutely horrible. The stuff here is more expensive than Costco and when I had an issue at self check it it took about 10 minutes for someone to come help us. Now I'd be understanding of that if they were short staffed or something but there were about 5-6 workers in the self check out area just talking. I made eye contact with each and every one of them and none of them came to help us. Just spend the $60 a year for Costco. They have better meats, vegetables, and products over all. We spent $140 for about 10 items here when at Costco we spent $150 for 4 times the amount of items that will last us the whole month.

Excellent selection of items for a big box store. Be sure to use the app to clip coupons and you can get some great deals. They've not completely worked out all the kinks since opening, but the customer service is excellent.Note: the app is required for curbside pickup, and there's no direct number to call in store for this. Not having this to their in-store directory is the only thing preventing me from making a 5 star review

As a current Costco member I was originally eager to join, as BJs is new to the area and I thought I'd get some great deals in a clean new store.Pros:- They sell alcohol, which Costco doesn't.- Employees are friendly and helpful.- Solid location.- Drive-thru gas at best prices in 'Bridgeville'.Cons:- Small storefront (and less of a selection) in comparison to Costco.- Costco's Kirkland brand is better quality than BJ's brand. BJ's clothes are thin and feel cheap.- The prepared foods weren't that good. The "steak subs" are made with a disgusting meat paste. Couldn't even finish it, had it throw it out. Prepared meals are much better at Costco.- Coupon clipping is tedious and time consuming. I much prefer the automatic discounts that get applied at the register that you experience at Costco.- Pricing seemed on par with Costco; this includes the gas station, unless you have the BJs credit card or spend money on specific items.- The sales people for other businesses that stand in the aisles and try and get you to buy stuff make it feel like Walmart and lessen the positive experience. For a paid membership store I shouldn't have to deal with this.- No free samples when I went, unlike Costco.I can't recommend BJs if you have a choice between them and Costco. I was very surprised howbelow average it was overall. Very disappointed.

Very upset that BJ’s wholesale stopped selling Dixie ultra paper plates. They are so much better than the Berkeley Jensen. I was very disappointed. I like having a choice but I see they are bringing in more and more of their own brand. I may have to start shopping at Sam's Club.
