First time visiting this store. They did have a great selection of stainless and no black lag screws. Prices were very expensive and the female associate was just busy talking loud to another customer about her personal life. I will remain a Lowe's and Home Depot customer.

Very disappointed with customer service. Actually was none. Employee just sitting on chair in front. Asked him if there someone who can help me he replied he can't help me cause he's up front. He said he he also couldn't me find anybody.Went to 2 other stores for a lawn mower I received help right away. I usually never complain or write a review but won't go back there again

My salesperson, Cortez Y, was so helpful. He found what I needed all while helping others check out, load their cars, and locate products. I got what I needed quickly. A good experience.

Above and beyond is how I would describe my experience today. I brought in a drawer from a dresser that needed all new screws for knobs I was trying to replace . Not only did the two employees figure out which screws I needed, they actually attached the knobs onto the drawer! They then offered to fix the other three drawers that were still in my car! I have never experienced this type of customer service ever! They were the nicest, most helpful guys. They made my day and restored my faith in humanity.

I went to True Value at 8:40 am. Doors are locked and no one answers the phone, It says you open at 8am.What a waste of time and gas. I guess have to got to Home Depot.

I prefer this place to the enormous warehouse stores. I can get in and out quickly, and they tend to have what I need at a comparable price.

I love this store, the people who work here are very helpful and I enjoy shopping at this location. The corporate office people really care about their employees and the customer experience.

It is nice to have a local hardware store. The staff is helpful. It is amazing the amount of things they fit into a small store. Great place to depend on when working on a project at home and realize you need something to complete the task. For me it saves time and hastle of the visit to the larger stores where you wander list for 45 minutes with no help to be found. Prices for some things is higher, so maybe be mindful of any impulse purchases, otherwise it's a life saver.Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but there are alot of hungry birds right now. If you have, you may have also noticed the price of bird seed. True Value has pretty good price on the standard food. Actually better priced than Walmart the other week

Love having this place so close, staff is great, usually have what I need in a pinch however, I just left their parking lot for 3rd time because they closed early? Myself and 4 other people at the same time disappointed that their website said 7p.m. but when I got there, a sign said 6!? Waist of my time and who knows how many other people other than the 4 others I just saw walk up to close doors. Stay on top of your website and maybe stay open till 7 or later for all of us who are super busy. Otherwise great place.

This store was great in customer service when it was started in September 2020 and I am a frequent customer since I moved into Blue bell. Lately with handful projects with my new home, there were quite a number of purchase transactions . All of sudden there is a change in attitude with the gentleman at the front desk on an exchange of a product .I was super disappointed with the fact that it was quite an embarrassing situation for me and for the folks around us hearing our conversation .I know almost all of the staff working at this location and I have to say they are more than friendly experience except the situation above mentioned with this individual . For sure, this kind of situation is well enough for to loose wonderful customers in our community.

I walked in with only a vague idea of what I needed to finish a project( think Lucy of Lucy and Ethel). Thank goodness that Walt was there. He showed me all the options and showed me five gazillion screws and bolts and a drill bit to do the job. So proud of the finished product! Thank you, Walt!

I recently saw this store was here. I needed one thing and ran in on my way from another errand. I grew up when there was a hardware store on this very corner (Allen’s) and have missed it for years! I left with several things. Easy to find what I need layout, have what I need, good prices. No need to run to a huge hardware store, because most likely, they have what you need!

I’ve been to this store 5-6x since it opened.I was a huge fan of ACE in Harleysville.Where they had polite, knowledgeable professional service and associates. This place is beautifully stocked with large inventory and very clean.BUT…..The service is among the worst I’ve ever seen in any retail place and each time a person less informed and more dismissive than the one before. Too bad. Great location and lots of options but I don’t do well with horrible customer service or shrug-the-shoulders attitudes. Someone needs to upgrade the hiring process for people skills.

This place is great. I'm so glad they opened last year. They carry almost everything, and in quantities you can use without paying for more than you need. Their staff are friendly and will help you find anything - although it's easy to locate what you need. A much better shopping experience than Lowe's or Home Depot.

I drove over to see when they were going to open this location & was greeted at the door by a very pleasant young fellow the assistant manager. Even though they were not open yet he took the time to explain when they were going to open. It's soon everyone! They are putting in the finishing touches & it looks great inside.I am very glad that True Value decided to open here in Blue Bell. I always like supporting the smaller hardware stores in my neighborhood because you never know when you're going to need that "whatcha ma call it" or "thing a ma gig" & it seems to me even during this time they will more than likely have what you need. I for one am patiently waiting."Welcome to the Neighborhood"

This past Saturday (5/1/21) we took two screens that needed repair. The man who takes care of the back desk had a very bad attitude. His personality was horrible. Went over today 5/4/21 to pick them up after receiving a call that they were ready. I had the receipt in my hand with the number but he proceeded to ask what name they were under. I gave him the name and he rudely told me he did not have anything under that name in the mean time they were the only two screens there that were sitting right in back of him so I gave him my name and when I did he gave me the stare down. I told him he had an attitude on Saturday and he had the same attitude today. He answered me by saying I don't have an attitude. If he doesn't feel like working than he should just stay home. We are not going to use this store anymore we will take our business to the True Value in Trappe which is a little further away but worth the nice customer service they have at that store. It's a shame because we were happy to have this store close by.I would like to respond to the the owner's comments on my recent visit to the True Value in Blue Bell. First of all there was no screaming in your store reviewing security footage was not necessary we are not that kind of people, and I don't recall customers there at that time it was in the middle of the afternoon. In fact the store was kind of empty when I walked in there wasn't even anyone at the front registers and I had to ring the bell at the back desk. My companion as you callled him also commented on his personality after we left the store on Saturday. We usually only leave reviews on situations that really deserve them and I didn't feel this particular man deserved one. It's ok don't worry we won't be back there.
