Great place to stock up on essentials.Update: I lowered my review significanly because recently they got rid of self-checkouts and only have ONE active checkout. While I'm all for cashiers and preventing shoplifting the issue is they also seem very understaffed. People waiting in line but there's only one checkout and one employee (who also appears to have other duties like restocking things). If the person in front of you has a cart full of stuff you are in for a wait. Having a self-checkout is nice to take the burden off a busy cashier and also for people who are only buying a couple items. Will probably go here a lot less now especially due to below issue.I also distinctly smelled a strong Raid Bugspray type smell coming from their refrigerators today. I kept rechecking and there was no mistaking it, very easy to smell with refrigerator open only. Made me think twice about buying refrigerated stuff there.

Dollar General on Market Street is the Best so easy to walk too. Love Missy, Chad, Lisa and Collette they are so helpful and always ask if you found everything you need. Prices are not bad and store is always clean. I do miss the 10PM Closing time but I do manage that they close at 9PM now. They are the best store around here!

Prices can be a lil high for some stuff. That being said you can't put a price on great customer service. Brian was super helpful & friendly. It's nice to see that some people take pride I delivering A+ customer service. He knew right where everything was that I was looking for & gave us service with a smile. Store was neat & orderly. Had to do an exchange here once & they were more then happy to fix the issue.

Convenient location, clean inside and out and pretty friendly staff.. I would like to see more fresh fruits and vegetables even frozen would be nice. It's not a complete food dead zone but close enough and My community would benefit much better with better whole food choices.

Missy does an amazing job with this store. She is one of the nicest and most sincere store managers I have ever met. This store is very well managed, well stocked and the staff are well trained. Kudos for Misy and her staff. She deserves to be a district Manager. Employees with her dedication and work ethic are rare in todays world.

The assistant manager gets his rocks off screaming and embarrassing autistic kids. The police had to calm this grown man down today 2/11/2022 because he can't handle himself. Dollar General should be embarrassed to employee such a despicable person.

I went recently to get balloons filled with helium and the nice lady helping us (collette i believe was her name) was so incredibly helpful and kind! she made it such a nice experience!

I love dollar general for shopping most if the time, but lately (within the last 6 months), it seems every time i go in, i can't find what I'm looking for. Either they are out of stock, or the saleman tells me to come back on friday and the bins should be put away by then. I mean i stop in cause i need something now! So needless to say, they have lost a lot of MY business!

I usually go to Main St. Store, but whenever I pick up meds, I enjoy a visit to DG at 1000 Market. A very friendly Staff, and more space to move around with my walker. I was happy to find frozen veggies today 😌

The front auto door don't work gotta push it open. Thanks I'm not handicap cause I would've had to wait till someone opened it. It's been this way for years? Go figure. Place seems dirty. Nobody at the checkout, gotta Wait.

People are always friendly but I think they really need to do some cleaning The ceilings vents are all black it looks almost like mold even if it is not you have all that dirt being blew all over

This is my go to store 4 everything what is so great awesome staff very clean and open until 10 pm last minute thoughts for a day or if you have young kids that spark a fever out of the blue live love love this store!!!!

Just watched the assistant manager of this store barate an obviously autistic child- the police literally had to tell this man to calm down and stop screaming at this child. A true psychopath. I will never step foot in this store again.

Very friendly staff. Store is big and nice to be able to walk around and not worry about running into things or not being able to walk down at the same time of someone else.

This store is not clean. Floors need a good cleaning , shelves wiped off , papers all over the floors from opened candy and merchandise need to be picked up.

Make shure u get ur recept for electronics i bought a phone charger for 10 dollors walk all the way from gesinger to return it n they wouldnt swap it out the emploee was to lazy to look it up in the computer

Staff has always been friendly. Most of the time it’s crowded in the aisles with boxes but they’re usually well stocked here.
