This used to be a great location. Now they are always way behind. If your prescription isn’t ready they don’t call and let you know: you find out when you arrive and then they are very rude about it. Then they are out of it half the time. I used this pharmacy for years because they have a drive thru window but it isn’t worth it. The window is often closed with a note to come inside. They open late, close early and close for lunch. Their prices are higher as well. Time to switch.

SLOW, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL Easily the worst pharmacy to exist. The staff are the rudest people I’ve ever met. Not a “hello” or “how can I help you” they just stare at you impatiently until you say your name? Every time I go there is a 15+ minute wait and only one register open. Also nobody is rushing at all? They’re taking their sweet time, not caring at all about the 30 people waiting in line. I had a script sent to them yesterday morning and I went today through the drive thru for them to tell me my script isn’t even ready. Then the rude lady says “it’ll take about 20-30 minutes, but hopefully it’s done by 1:30 because we’re going on lunch so” I tried asking for her to expedite it and she just closed the window. she was so rude and miserable and now I have to wait and hope it’s filled tomorrow because I have to go to work today. This place is a huge joke. I’m switching to any other pharmacy as soon as I can.

Easily the worst pharmacy in the surrounding area. EVERY single time here there is a long wait, and your prescription is not filled...doesn't matter if your prescription was called in hours earlier, or DAYS earlier.You will wait in line for 30+ minutes just to be told that your script is not filled and to come back in an hour.If anyone reads this, do yourself a favor and literally go anywhere else.How can the folks at corporate see these reviews (which all state the same exact thing) and not do anything about it?Horrible.

They really aughta just shut this place down already. They never have enough staff and they never have my prescriptions ready on time. Can't use the self checkouts because i only go there when I have to buy stuff they have behind the counter. It's an absolute joke anymore. Save yourself the trouble and don't bother going here.

This place has gone downhill, big time. Not only have I personally heard from friends and family of bad experiences with this pharmacy, I've now also been experiencing them myself. I've gone over 2 months without insulin because of this pharmacy's lack of communication with my doctor and myself. My doctor has had to phone in prescriptions because they claim they never receive them. Prescriptions will sit in the "pending" status for days until you call this pharmacy, speak with a rude pharmacist, and be told that they're actually completely sold out of your prescription and claim they've informed your doctor, only to find later that your doctor has no record of this pharmacy reaching out to them at all. If anything at all goes wrong with your prescription, they will not call you, you have to either show up and wait in a long line or call them and speak with a rude pharmacist to find out why your order is stuck in the pending status. I'm currently nearing the end of my pregnancy, and the amount of stress this pharmacy has caused all throughout it is absurd. I've had prescriptions filled here for over 20 years, not anymore.

I have had so many problems with this specific pharmacy. Sending messages that meds are ready and then not having them at pick up time. Saying they filled the meds and putting them on hold and having me call insurance company from their error. Went to a different CVS on 2 occasions and got great service. Will never got back to this one again. And expedites order means 2 days.

The CVS pharmacy at the Bloomsburg store is a joke. Why? First, long lines. I've seen 8+ people waiting in line and 6+ CVS employees behind the counter. Only one CVS person at the register. The others keep working away on prescriptions. Why not staff more than one register when the lines are long? Second, unlike the regular store staff (they are great), the pharmacy staff is not very welcoming. How about a "Hi, how are you? How may I help you?" with a smile. Most staff who work at the pharmacy seem miserable (I say most because one or two are pleasant). Third, a lunch break for EVERYONE in the pharmacy every day at 1:30pm? Laughable. How about two employees per half hour starting at noon? Finally, I once received a message that a prescription would be auto-refilled. Showed up a two days later and, surprise, it's not in stock. Why tell me it would be filled when it's not in stock? Why not a call?This CVS pharmacy seems to be on autopilot. Why improve...not much competition in the area. How about some pride in your work? That should be enough to excel. I can imagine there's a giggle-fest when they read these reviews during their lunch breaks.Comment for CVS management: Do you even read these reviews? Do your care? Do you follow through?

Prescriptions are never done on time, communication is inaccurate or nonexistent, the drive thru is never open, and the inside line is always super long and slow. I know it’s all out of the employees’ control because the pharmacy is way short-staffed and over-extended. Corporate needs to fix this absolute hot mess of an operation.

Worst pharmacy ever. You could easily die of old age waiting in line for a prescription. Uncaring semi retarded looking employees. Cvs should be ashamed of themselves. We will be switching to a different pharmacy asap.

Go somewhere else if you can help it. Not sure what changed in the last year or so but the pharmacy side is frustrating. We'll receive a notification that a prescription is ready (even the ready packs) and when we show up, we're told that they are getting it ready and it will be about 25 minutes. This seems to be the standard answer. The worst experience was recently we checked back 3 times, at 25 minute intervals, and received the same answer until it was finally ready.

Generally the pharmacy has issues. Not necessarily the fault of the employees. HOWEVER this is where I will mention Xavier. Xavier is truly an asset, and should be recognized as such. Thank you Xavier.

CVS pharmacy Bloomsburg PennsylvaniaThere isn’t any customer service and they don’t care your needs and they don’t even know how to assist customer. They don’t have any effort to change their ways.. Don’t even waste your time talking to managers!! They are extremely Ruth, unprofessional and insulted.I was feeling very insulted!!They don’t even deserve one star, all the way trash!!

Whenever I call this CVS pharmacy department with a question about a script they are very rude and short on the phoneI usually deal with Danville pharmacy who have always been very nice and accommodating, but I have recently needed to deal with Bloomsburg because the location right now is more convenient for me. I am just so disappointed in their rudeness.

Thomas the store manager (I assume since he’s the only one that’s knowledgeable and super helpful.) Should be managing all CVS stores! He is a prime example of how all associates/workers should be. His assistance with my grandmother in finding a wheelchair was OUTSTANDING! Even using personal “not work hours” to offer to deliver. His kindness and knowledge needs to be rewarded.Why CVS hasn’t seen the potential in this employee is beyond me. Wow just wow... My family and I will continue to go to any CVS Thomas works at. He really cares about the public and it shows!Thomas, I hope you are reading this. And my prayers go out to you and yours. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Worst pharmacy in Bloomsburg! Rude staff, ignorant male pharmacist, takes forever to get questions answered, meds not ready by the time they are promised, and medications are significantly more expensive at CVS. Save yourself the headache and use another pharmacy!

As soon as I am able, I am switching away from this pharmacy! They are the worst! You wait in line for 30 to 40 minutes, only to find out the prescription isn't ready, even though it was called in the day before! Not sure how they get away with calling themselves a pharmacy

Why are my prescriptions marked as ready for pickup and then when I pick them up i wait an hour? My guess is your marking them as complete to meet time metrics but irregardless, the customer service in respect to time is horrible

Came in to get some nasal spray for my neighbor. Couldn't get anyone to wait on us at all out front. I understand being short of help but this is inexcusable. Waited for 10 minutes. Left the product on the counter and left the store. I'd give o zero star rating but it won't let me.

They have consistently messed up on my prescriptions at least once a month. I usually get 3 to 6 scripts every month. They have one excuse after another as to why they can't fill one. I have had to go without maintanance scripts for a week at a time because of their incompetence. I never had this problem with any other CVS except Bloomsburg.

I have been a customer for many years. Recently the service has declined. The store is understaffed and it can take hours and sometimes days to have a script filled. Communication is almost nonexistent and when there is it is inaccurate.

This is the worst store I’ve ever been to. The people that work are unprofessional and rude. They are not helpful. They are gossiping amongst each other out loud with no care who is around. They are rude to customers. I have attempted to use the UPS drop off several times and they have lost my packages and have refused to give me a receipt for my drop offs. Particularly Tyler, claims to be the store manager sadly he must be one of their worst employees there. Will never be stepping foot in there again. So disappointing.

Spoke to the pharmacist tonight in regards to a discrepancy on a prescription. I have been with this CVS for 20 years. Her social skills were poor at best and seems delighted I indicated I will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. Welcome to CVS Bloomsburg. I for one am going elsewhere.

It has been many years since anyone has bothered to spray wash this building the amount of spiders and stuff around drive thru window is disgusting… and it can’t be from lights on at night because they don’t stay open at all hardly anymore, due to ‘ staff shortage’ there is also a hornets nest.
