Had a family trip in the area for three days. Found this local supermarket on Google Maps. Decided to check it out for a few groceries in need. We were able to find all items that we were looking for in the prices that we could accept. Some items were happened to be on sales. Check-out transaction did not have any issues nor problems.

Cute little store that has essentials. Not a lot of exotic stuff, but has what you need. Some prices are a tad bit high, better than a Mom and Pop grocer. Staff is mostly nice, I have never been ignored or felt like they hated being there.

I’m giving the cashier a 5 star rating . The lady noticed that the birdseed bag I had purchased had a small tear in it and birdseed was coming out . She taped up the hole and double bagged the big bag. So considerate and kind of her. I don’t know her name but hardworking people like this cashier should be getting a raise just for being such a friendly, caring, hard working employee.(I just found out that the cashier’s name is Holly)

If you like to pay double and triple for your groceries and enjoy rotten produce and poor customer service then this is the place for you. The problem is, if you live in this area this place is the closest grocery store. The next closest grocery store is around 12 Mi away. I'm sure they are aware of this and take advantage of the locals in the area. I'm hoping eventually it'll catch up with them and hopefully they'll go out of business and we'll get a real grocery store here. I was in here the other day and I was looking to pick up some beets and a cucumber or two. What was on the Shelf were rotten. So I asked the girl that was in the grocery department do you have any beats or cucumbers in the back there. She told me they're out there on the Shelf I told her the ones on the Shelf are rotten and she said that's what we have.

A grocery store with a large variety of products. From Fresh produce to takeaway home style foods. You will find here everything you need for your Pocono getaway. There is a small wine and beer section in the store as well. Large free parking lot.

Go out of business already so a real store can open. They will close for literally no reason ( inch of snow). And honestly don’t understand how they don’t get shutdown by the health department. Just look up at the filth on the ceiling lol. Unbelievable

Came here for odds-n-ends while vacationing nearby. Had everything I needed and was very well stocked. Will be back this week some more. If you're vacationing nearby, don't worry that you forgot anything at home. Just stop by here.

COMPLETELY overpriced. Family Dollar in the same shopping center and Dollar General Market about 1/10 of a mile away have much better prices.Boxes of common cereal for $7 and $8+?? Are they made of gold or does eating Chex specifically sold here supernaturally heal you?? Why is it so much? Where does all the extra money go?? Even their store brands here are more expensive than name brands at other stores. I wish a Walmart Neighborhood market would open here. I could get the exact same things for less than half the costs.

The bakery has the best cupcake. They are a chocolate cupcake with cream cheese in the center. Absoluty LOVE these things.They also are the only place that carry a certain flavor of Gatorade, so as long as they keep supplying it, I will gladly hand over my money to them 😆

If you buy something on sale, many times it doesn't ring up at the sale price. They will fix it for you after you wait for them to verify the price is wrong, but they don't correct it in their system for the next customer. I spoke to a manager about it about a year ago and she was very nice, but it keeps happening. I try not to go there except for when it's convenient. The staff are nice, but it's not right to trick people into buying something on sale and then charge the regular price. Again, this is not a one or two time thing, it's a regular practice.

Greeter is great; deli staff is great. Exit, stage left.Walk in and see 'Jersey Fresh' signs. Check the tag of where the produce is from: Mexico on many of them. I grew up in NJ, and the produce is renowned for being awesome: tomatoes, corn, asparagus, blueberries, strawberries, etc. That is why they call NJ the Garden State.Who are they kidding. If the store wasn't one mile from our house, I would never go again. Convenience is a distraction when asparagus is $3.99/lb; and I get it at Shop Rite for $1.99/lb. For over 28 years we have been in this community shopping. When the summer and holidays come up, their prices go up. Who do they think buys from them for 12 months out of the year? The vacation people?How about giving locals a discount 12 months of the year? I've posted negative comments for years and never get a reply. I'm in the customer service business. Aharts has no real customer service morals.Let's see if they respond to this one.

The place to get your grocery and other household item if staying at Spitrock. Overall prices seem to be on the mid to high end of the spectrum, but bargains are to be found. Near the facility you will fine a Family Dollar store, Cinese food, and a Wine and Spirits.

Great selection, Great prices....Would have been a 5 star but after we got back home and look over the receipt we notice that we where charged for two item that we didn't get.....So be carefull and check receipt before your leave.

Only real grocery store in the area so it helps out when you're in a pinch. The workers are nice. Prices can be weirdly high on certain items but other than that It's not bad.

There was only one lane open with several shoppers so we decided to do self-checkout. A lady (management of some kind) said we couldn't ring up beer and had to go back to the only open lane (I'm sure they had the power to do an override). The cashier was inept and had to keep calling for assistance. She told the lady in front of us that she couldn't purchase 2 different types of beer at the same time so then we divided our order as per instructed. Then she had to call for someone else to scan the beer. When it was our turn, the credit card machine wasn't working. "You'll have to get a new card honey". By this time we're fuming but have one more alcohol purchase. "Oh, you could have purchased this together because it's not beer". Someone needs to tell this place that Seagrams is a malt liquor product. Stay away if you value your sanity! Only gave one star because zero is not allowed.

I always shop here when I come to the Poconos. I thought it was weird that the Deli counter does not make sandwiches? 3 guys are standing around doing nothing and only cut meat. Strange. Why not make more money and put it on some bread. Wawa is killing it.

Products are WAY overpriced. Not just a few cents or even a dollar or two over...we're talking 4, 5 even 6 dollars over the price at regular markets. This store takes advantage of being the only market in the vicinity so unless you decide to drive to Mount Pocono, be prepared to be price gouged.

The sales on frozen stuff and soda can be pretty good on occasion but the produce is never too fresh looking and over priced. Same goes for the bakery I’ve bought a few things that had mold on them and were within the sell by date.

We went for popcorn the last 10 minutes they were opened. We were screamed at across the parking lot as they were locking the doors early that they were closed. We were peacefully getting back into our vehicle. It angered me how we were screamed at. We are locals that come to the store daily. And I’m just through with the attitudes. Every steak we bought from there the last 2 months was absolutely terrible. Going through the self checkouts you get attitude if the key is needed and I got screamed at that I needed to wait when the register jammed as I was putting in cash. There were lines of people and a register with the light on. I asked if the lane was opened and got cursed at that the lady didn’t fn know where the cashier went to. The last 2 months the way the meat has been and the service up front I’m thinking it’s better to take my money elsewhere.

I have been coming here when I am in the Poconos for the last 11 years. It is close to the resort that I use to stay in. I have seen it really grow! It has pretty much anything you need. Is nice and close to the resort. WalMart may be cheaper in price but is 30 minutes away and when you figure in the price of gas these days, their prices look better. A lot of variety to choose from.

The manager on Friday evening (Sept. 8th, 2023) decided to close the store 15 mins early. She locked the doors and decided to go home early. Very unprofessional.

We got there at 4:25 on Monday ( Labor Day) and was greeted by a very ignorant older lady who pretty much told us that we had 30 minutes to get our stuff and get out. And every 5 minutes they were making announcements that we had so many minutes before closing. We had just needed to get a couple of things and the Dutch country potato bread we bought was all dried out and not edible. Definitely the rudest , most ignorant people staffed grocery store I’ve ever been in
