My family has shopped at Kennies for years and the freshness of many products is very much overlooked. Many items on the shelves outdated or close to expiration. Look at the expiration date on EVERYTHING you buy. The produce quality has also drastically declined over the years. Many elderly folks shop at Kennies stores and they have a hard time reading these dates or can't see as well and don't realize that they are buying outdated items. My wife had pointed out on several occasions outdated items to the manager of the store we had used and once when she was explaining to him that elderly shoppers may not be able to read the expiration dates he told her that wasn't his problem???? Really???? No it is not, but with that attitude, repeat customers may not be so quick to come back. We only shop at Kennies now in a pinch. We work to hard for our money to be spending it on items that are no good or thrown out soon after purchasing. Good luck Kennies, integrity is for real!!!

This location is extremely disappointing. The last 10 times I have been in, I have only had about five things on my list and every single time I leave with one item. They have a very poor selection, a lot of items are out of stock. If you have a few extra minutes it is by far worth the trip to Weis market in gettysburg.

LOVE this store! The Biglerville market is filled with nice crews, a great selection and is a pleasure to shop at!

They are trying to improve but there's just so much that can be done with a small market. Selections are so predictable I could name everything inside. Minimal AM staff tends to take a beating. Pluses are they have cylinder exchange end gas. Negatives are the baked good and sandwiches are now sad and terrible. In general the produce seems fresh and we'll kept.

A few things have changed in the meat department. I miss the open area where you could speak with the butcher and specifically ask for whatever you wanted. The selection also seemed like there was more available than just a few packages of whatever they have out. They also stopped selling Kunzler Texas Weiners or at least were out the last few times I visited. Still a decent stop if you're looking for loose sausage and a few local items.

The cashiers do not ask for your savings card. At the service desk the cashiers will continue talking among themselves or doing whatever they were doing before. Never saying hold on or be right with you. Deli customer service isn't always good. I have stood in line while 2 employees stood at the fryer talking. Prices are high. I only go there for some sale items or if I just need 1-2 things.

Nice local market with homemade foods and Subs to order along with so many other things. Pharmacy is on site which makes it extremely convenient with a bank attach to the same building. There is a gas station as well everything you need is right here

we were in town for a soccer meet at the nearby park, on the hunt for food and stumbling into the over crowded pizza place, we ventured down the main drag and found this gem! The place harks back to the era of dark and cavernous supermarkets but it hit our sweet spot and provided the necessary survival tools for the rest of the soccer tournament, read: fried chicken, potato skins and mayonaise as well as cold drinks. The staff were friendly enough to lend their bathroom (a great change from the weekend of Porta-Potties) and were also helpful in assisting us in negotiating their menu!A basic supermarket for the necessities.

I love Kennie's Market. Great homemade items throughout the store. Their produce is very fresh even though it is a lil small. A market with that family owned vibe. They are proof bigger is not always better.

I like Kennies, but they need to start fully cooking their fried chicken again. Tastes like iron and rawness in the middle. Very nasty and off-putting.

Great local grocery store. Good selection of items. Their in store roasted chicken is the best we've had anywhere. My only complaint is it's too cold!

I got a cake on July 28th. It was excellent. The decoration and icing are exactly what I wanted. This was the 2nd cake I got and look forward for a 3rd one. Kyle, the meat manager worked with me on the meat prices as well.

Well didnt like the fact that they changed the Rutters half &half to the bottle! Its not the same! Its nasty! They tryed doing this ways back and fought it! For us the people that bought it so much! Ones consentrated and others not! Been useing the box Rutters for meny years! And gotten others useing it as well ! I guess we all have To now look to see whare we can go for it? Theres been alott of complaints since new peolpe took over! Dont dont listen to there customer's. And there thoughts! You will see how this new bottle stuff wont be gotten as muchas the box rutters half & half! Its sad one thing i always enjoyed buying from kennies. Has been replaced with. Something totaly different! Its not the same! Check it out ! Cant fool true customer's that has bought it for years! Plz consider in at least checking it out! ( compare it). You will see!

This is my favorite Grocery store in town. Family owned, and not too large that one could get overwhelmed . The staff have allways been helpful and kind.

These folks will help me find anything. Deli has great hot and cold foods. Fuel pumps on property. ACNB bank and ATM on property.
