Very helpful kind people. I went in to get outlet covers which they did have. I was surprised by all of the stuff they carried. They seem to carry a little bit of everything. Everything I asked about they were able to help me find or if it was something they didn't currently have he looked it up on the computer to see if he could order it and let me know the price. He also was happy to suggest other places I might find a similar product if they were unable to order what I was looking for.When I was paying I was happy to see that they cut keys 🔑. I had been needing to get copies made but never seemed to remember when rushing through other stores...I recommend stopping by and checking this place out before heading all the way to Lowe's or Home Depot. I personally prefer supporting the smaller local businesses and you get better customer service by far.

The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. I brought in my husband's chain saw chains to be sharpened. I held them with one white glove because I had a meeting to attend and my pants of choice were white!Tom took the chains and said he could possibly have them done that day.He called be an hour later letting me know they were done! I picked them up after my meeting expecting to do another 80 s Michael Jackson impersonation. Tom was nice enough to put the chains in a box so I could bring them home.My husband purchased his chain saw from them and their prices were better than Amazon and the customer service is golden!We have a STHL vendor closer to our home but this place is well worth the extra few miles!Check them out!

Always trying to help they are actually my landlord and I love these people they mean so much and I always come here to get anything worked on they fix it fast and cheap and they help you out so well they prices to pick up new equipment and the tools there are so cheap you just can't go anywhere else once you walk threw the front do like I said and I will reaper it they are so freaking awesome and helpful if you go there show them this and say I recommend you and you will get a great deal or just give my name and say I sent you they will give you 25 dollars off your bill over 100

Had an issue with our Stihl chainsaw that was just a few years old. Tom took the time to take it apart and explain in detail what was wrong with it. He helped us immensely with our communication with the Stihl warranty department, and got us a much better resolution than we could have gotten on our own. I cannot say enough good things about the level of service we received at Adams County Surplus. In addition, we were impressed with the wonderful selection of Stihl chainsaws, weed whackers, blowers, and other equipment and accessories kept in stock. We will be doing all our future Stihl business here and will recommend all our family and friends do the same.

To be honest I love this place. But I've had some bad experiences especially this summer when I placed a 5k stihl order. They didn't end up giving the deal they said I could get for a order that big. And they didn't keep track as to whether I got everything I order. Small order ok big order be careful or they may screw you.

They try to help. We bought a saw from them and was told any problems bring it back we didn't barely use it and come to find out it's no good. Had to buy another one. Just not very happy with them.

Needed to buy a chainsaw, on a tight schedule with 2 young boys. Proprietors are a married couple and were extremely kind and accommodating. Son had recently broken a fever and complained of being cold, they popped the heat right on for him. Mind you it was about 60 degrees in February.Would gladly return.

I have yet to buy anything here except chains for c.s. husband did drop off chains to be sharpened. He said it seemed to take a bit longer then expected. Only one who had new chainsaw when it came out from stihl.
