I was thrilled to find a nearby self-serve dog wash, and at such a great price for what they provide. Washing them at home vs at a facility that has all that’s needed makes a huge difference in how they smell and how clean they come out. They smelled heavenly with the array of shampoos and colognes they had. Will for sure come back more frequently!

This is a great place to take your pets. Everyone there is so caring and Julie does such a great job with my golden retriever. My dog has separation anxiety which I know is difficult to work with but they are always patient and do a great job with him every time. I also love that they don’t put him in a cage and he can roam before and after his appointment — you don’t find many places that do that.

Our puppy Hannah had her first ever groom here and we will definitely be back! We can tell she was well taken care of and had such a great time with the other dogs— highly recommend!!

Took my 5mo mini golden doodle for his first grooming! I already did my homework and read all of the great reviews before making my appointment. Everyone there was super nice and I was informed that there were no cages in the entire facility which I really liked! He came out so soft and looked like a completely different pup! 10/10!

Although there was an awful odor when entering Hamm's for the first time, we really liked the way Amber groomed our dog and continued to take him there a couple more times. Here's why we will not go back.... we had an 8 AM appointment for Hamm's and a cardiologist appointment 10 minutes away at 8:30. We arrived a few minutes early then waited in the car til 8, when I went to the front door, which was locked and the lights were off. I rang the bell and kicked several times between 8 and 8:15. A female voice finally came over an intercom of some sort, saying she was on her way and something about being off the past 4 days, then...nothing. I waited another 10 minutes then left for our next appointment.At 2:30 pm, my wife got a call from Hamm's ..... "I'm calling to reschedule Luca's appointment". No apology or explanation. My wife said "No thank you...we're done." The response? Nothing.I'm sure this review will not affect Hamm's business at all, but so far, none of our many friends that we have referred will be returning. Some because of our experience, the others because of the stench.

My 1 year old Aussie's grooming appointment was rescheduled twice due to staffing shortages/injuries. Second time was via text, with no apology, just asking when I could reschedule. When the appointment occured, he was there for just over 4 hours (when they estimated 2) and he was still damp upon pick up and was hyperventilating/extremely thirsty drooling all over himself when I got him in the car (which is rare for him). I paid almost double the price ($68) what I did at Petsmart (simple bath and brush at $44) and his grooming was subpar. His nails were still sharp, he didn't smell nice, and his fur wasn't soft because he was still wet. I'm thinking they let him air dry for quite some time because when i called to follow up and the 3.5 hour mark they said he was just "chillin and it would probably be about a half an hour yet." Extremely disappointed with my entire experience from every angle.

After bringing Mr. Brownie to PETCO Whitehall for almost 1.5 year and the staff been rude I decided to switch to Hamms Pawsome Dog wash. The staff and the owner are great and Brownie loves it. The price is almost 50% of what PETCO charges and I get to support a local business which today is very important. Our 13 month old puppy came here for his first trip to the groomer. They all took good care of him. He looks great, smells great, and had a nice time. Very reasonable pricing.

Small building but lovely staff with great prices. I get both of my pups groomed here and I’ve never had any issues. They don’t keep the pups locked in crates while they wait (at least not the friendly ones) and I think that helps alleviate some of the stress plus you are always greeted by a cute face when you walk in.

My boyfriend and I took our new corgi, Oliver, here for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. Oliver was pretty fearful, but the staff were super understanding and patient with him, taking the time to introduce each tool and focusing on his comfort. How beautiful he looked afterwards was just a bonus!

Hamms gave my pup the absolute best hair cut he’s ever gotten- perfect because it was his haircut for my wedding day, and he was in some photos. I was elated with how his haircut turned out. It’s the ONLY time a groomer actually saw a photo I had and replicated the cut properly. Also; the staff is so nice and accommodating. I love supporting a small family business!

Absolutely 100% over the top impressed.I'm visiting a friend and I needed to find a groomer to cut my dog's nails. Out of the six places called, this one answered the phone while I was leaving a message. No hesitation, they gave me an appointment on the same day.When I walked in then I was greeted with a smile and treated as if I were one of their regulars. They took my little girl in and before I knew it they were done. She was not distressed, she didn't even look like anything happened. They obviously have a dog whisperer behind that door.I was even more surprised at how inexpensive it was. Frankly I would have paid double because of the experience. I visit my friend once a year but this place will be in my mind forever.

I have had THE best experience here! They never disappoint, we tried them one time and have never left! My dog comes out absolutely adorable, super calm and happy which is NOT how she would be after a visit to the groomers. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the property is totally catered for our furry friends with a yard and free pick up bags right out front! Def would recommend and DO recommend OFTEN to friends because it has been the BEST Groomer experience by far !!!

<3 Great service, very experienced groomer and the attention to detail is wonderful. My dog looks amazing every time. And they will tell you if they spot anything going on (like hot spots or allergies) with your dog's skin. They take their customers' requests seriously and makes me feel they're willing to put in the extra effort to take great care of the dogs that go there.

Found this place online has been there awhile. They advertise diy pet wash , private rooms , high quality equipment. It says make an appt, so I call. Nobody answers. Drive over. Im greeted by a masculine woman on break standing outside the only entrance smoking cigarettes. Sweet. Then I walk In it looks like the 1970’s in there. Dogs literally running everywhere. The lady ignored me for a few while she chatted. I said I wanna use the dog wash. She said we do that by appt. I called. She said “oh we don’t answer the phone “ what? So you have to drive there to be told that they only have a couple rooms that are all taken and there’s not enough hot water to wash any other dogs. Quality equipment? You can’t wash more than a couple dogs because you don’t have hot water? At the groomer ? So rest assured that by the end of a groom on your dog it’s probably freezing. What a joke , this place looks like the bathroom from “cheers”. Old ,cluttered , messy. Stuff all over the place. What a terrible experience. All of this could’ve been avoided if the old lady at the counter who does nothing actually answered the phone. Ridiculous. I’m glad , honestly it didn’t work out because it looked so dirty there , the people looked dirty. I can’t imagine behind the curtain is much nicer. They don’t even have hot water.We went to tractor supply. 10 bucks.

Extremely happy to find this place. I wasn’t sure if I needed a reservation for the self service bath but I emailed in and got a response very fast. We brought in a German Shepard and the nice woman gave us a run down of how to use everything. They have a hair dryer for the dogs but Sam did not enjoy the loud noise. So we toweled dried him off. There is everything that you can imagine there. Stuff for the eyes, teeth ears, and nails. We did not attempt to trim his nails ourself. But next time we go back we will pay for them to do that. They have a good deal of 5 grooms for $30 and they give you a punch card. We will be back!

I could not ask for better grooming services for my pup! With the help of the owner, Carey, we were able to book an appointment very quickly. She emailed and texted to confirm time and date of appointment. Carey greeted us when we got there and took great interest in what I was looking for and if there were any issues or concerns. The facility is super clean and friendly. Amber took great care of Bandit and made him look GREAT! I will definitely recommend Hamm's Pawsome Dog Wash to family and friends. And Bandit will be back! Thank you so much for your time and professionalism taking care of my fur baby! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

This was my first time doing to a self dog wash and I absolutely loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The facilities are tip of the line and they privide everything you need from and abundance of towels, quality shampoos and conditioners, blow dryer, all the way to providing a tooth brush with paste. Everything was super easy and convenient. I will definitely be back!

Eneven cut, smelly interior, prices same as petsmart (for grooming). Nails are clipped and not ground (makes sharper claws). Wait was approximately 8 hours from start to finish...also way more than large companies. Expected a lot more..

We brought our two dogs to Hamm's today for the first time to get a much needed bath using the self-wash. Our experience far exceeded our expectations. The facilities were great, and had everything we needed to wash the dogs and then some. Staff were polite and accommodating. Prices were great for the self-wash, especially when getting the punch card. Our rescue's first wash was free. Will definitely recommend and be back.

This is the best local spot for self dog wash, hands down. We have a 150-lb English Mastiff and the large walk-in tubs at Hamm’s are the only ones that can safely accommodate him. The punch card for self wash is a steal at about $5 per wash or less. I brought all my own towels and shampoo the first time, but they actually supply you with soap, towels and wash cloths. And also rubberized washing aprons. We also had him groomed there once and they did a fantastic job. Our mastiff is afraid of most men, so I was shocked when a male staff member calmly walked him out to us when we came to pick him up. The only way this place could be better is if it was closer to my house. They get pretty busy so make sure to call ahead or look at Google’s hourly estimate. We switched to Hamm’s from another local place closer to home that dropped our dog on the floor trying to get him in their tiny tub 4 feet off the ground, and this was when he was under a year old and only about 100-lbs. Hamm’s is much better and safer than any other place.

Wonderful service. I brought my sheltie (a 1st for him & me/ I groomed my shelties growing up). He looked beautiful. I panicked later, as fluffyness made fur look shorter to me. My concern was respectfully addressed, their response/information put me at ease. His fur has naturally flatten & looks great. It's so much easier to deal with the dogs, than the humans:)
