Good to have a local hardware store so that we don’t have to schlep to Home Depot in Stroudsburg. Friendly customer service. We found everything we needed in a pinch for our paint project. The surcharge on using a debit card is annoying but like I said in a pinch this place works!

Went here as a new customer for the first time. I was walking down the paint aisle when the owner told me I was not allowed down there. First time in a store and couldn't shop. Then he repeated himself like I was a five year old being scolded. I don't need to be childed for not doing anything wrong. You would think with the pandemic, and the loss of business and income, you would be more than happy to take my money. Left store never to return. I'll shop where Im appreciated as a customer. Enjoy your misery.

The staff is extremely helpful with a sense of humor that makes you want to come back. When I can't find something I need, help immediately appears where I am led to the exact area of the store to get what I couldn't find. Of course if the store is busy, you have to seek the help.

Purchased a Box of screws and wasn't offered a receipt. They were the wrong ones.I wanted to return them unopened and was told couldn't do it. Because I didn't have a receipt. I wanted to exchange them.Very poor business practice. The obess gentleman was very rude.

I live across the street and go there 2/3 times a week, well I did, but for 2 years sometimes 2× a day but just recently I had a problem returning a defective plumbing part and Howard/ scrooge the owner has a bad reputation of not taking returns,but what happened today was over the top of bad business! I CALLED LAST WEEK FOR A PRICE TO SHARPEN A HAND SAW BLADE AND THEY SAID 12.50$ OK NOW I GO To pick it up and he says he also charges a$5.00 processing fee but nowhere on his sign or anywhere in the store does it say that and scrooge also tells me the price actually went up to $20 and says he's giving me a break because he originally had an out of date price list it's no problem because now I avoid going there and lows is only 7 miles away .mr scrooge really knows how to loose a costumer and of course everyone I see will know of his poor business practices

Returns are almost impossible. Door hinges are very hard to get into to begin with for them to take anything back you must pretty much bring the packaging back the same way yoy git it

Great store to stop in staff is extremley helpful and inventory has something for every project. Its much better than fighting traffic and searching for whats potentially useless help at one of those bigger orange hardware stores
