The new manger Tonya was trying to get sassy and rude with me . I have been going to this dollar general for a very long time and never had a problem. She was insisting that my kids where grabbing stuff and not putting them back in the shelf when my daughters has special needs.

The staff went above and beyond to help me. My card was rejected as Edna was checking us out. Dallas came to the rescue, and everything was fixed. These two were so caring and kind, but Dallas was extremely pleasant. The kind of employee one wants for their business. Keep up the good work Dallas.

Store was organized and clean. Prices are low and you can get some good deals! Clerk was very cheerful & friendly and seemed glad to serve us! They carry pretty much everything in the basic grocery line. We'll be back!

This is my favorite Dollar General. I don't get there often but every time I do it's always a nice experience. Their things are very nice & reasonably priced. I think their employees are some of 5he nicest people I've ever met.

I love this store because the prices are great and the clearks are great people. As I went to look for the solar powered flower bed lights I knocked one off the shelf and on to the floor. I offered to pay for it but the check out was forgiving due to the fact that it was not a high priceditem. Thank you for building the Shartelsville Dollar General. 😁👍👌

Always have what I went for. Store is kept clean. Employees are polite especially cashier Nina very friendly greets you as soon as you walk in always asks if I found what I was looking for. I shop at Dollar General's in different locations Bethel is by far the best one Hamburg store is dirty Myerstown unorganized, always boxes in the aisle Shartlesville store has a very unfriendly employee, will NOT shop there anymore gave the cashier a few chances thinking she was just having a bad day but...after three times of same attitude forget it I left my items lay and drove the extra miles and went to Wal-Mart which I dreed going to because of rude customers. But anyway Dollar General is a great store to shop at, quality at good prices can't go wrong if you go to the right one !!!

Had what I needed. Clean but seemed dark and slightly cluttered. Possibly due to stock being stored on top of the shelves blocking some light. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

It's clean and organized also I take my coco in with me and he rides in shopping cart, I have anxiety disorders and he keeps me calm and the store clerks are helpful and polite.

I filled the owners of the company treat their people terrible and should be ashamed of themselves for the way they are. If it wasn't for the convenience I've never stepped one foot in the door place they are just horrible people to work for I would never work there I would never tell anybody to go there to work. Some of their people work so hard and get no recognition for it. Unbelievable that we have companies like that in the United States and there's no surprise that they cannot keep good people their tyrants and should be ashamed

One of the nicest, well kept dollar stores I've been in. Mixed nuts, meat sticks, energy drinks are all way cheaper then anywhere else. Friendly staff and clean store.
