I visited this store for the first time yesterday subsequent to an internet search as I needed to rent a dehumidifier. Today I rented a vacuum extractor and had doubts as to its suction force on my carpets. Within 20 minutes Evey had a replacement delivered to my home- truly outstanding customer service. The prices are reasonable and the selection of rental equipment is impressive. I'll be back for future equipment rentals without any hesitation.

Great hardware store - the staff is always very helpful and pleasant. They have everything under the sun to rent. Husband lost his ring in the front yard in the snow and we were able to rent a metal detector. We redid our backyard and rented a few different things -they delivered and picked it up the machinery - items worked perfectly too.

I walked in after a long day. Someone offered to help right away. We found my tool I needed. I checked out with a solid recommendation for an electrician and then walked 20 feet to my car. It ain't Home Depot.. And Amen to that. In and out in less than 5 minutes.

Called ahead to see if a very specific square U-Bolt was in stock. Lowe’s and Home Depot didn’t have it but they did. I walked in and they already had it ready for me on the counter and I walked out in seconds. Amazing customer service

I just ran into this store for some screws and the kid inside greeted me and helped me. Everyone was so helpful I was blown away. They were even grilling and giving away hot dogs out front. Seriously I’ve never had such an awesome experience at a hardware store.

EXPERIENCED RENTER IMPRESSED!First time renter at this business, but I rent equipment all over the United States and this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, they were very accommodating and did not nickel and dime me like many other places do. The equipment was clean only a few years old or brand new, Everything worked properly. It’s really nice that they carry different brands of equipment for instance we are used to bobcat brand so we didn’t waste any time messing around on a Kabota since they had our preferred brand in houseI will be back to rent again for sure

Very affordable power tools rentals for any job.As a hardware store, they have a large and varied stock for a small store.On the down side, the very young staff are not very knowledgeable and many times have told me that they don't carry a particular piece of hardware because they don't understand the project, but then I find it on my own.

Evey's is great!! They are always helpful and always have someone at the door to help you find what you're looking for. One thing I really like is that if you come early in the morning and they are there the lights will be on and the doors unlocked - ready for business. Unlike the chain stores where the manager stands at the door waiting to unlock it. Big thumbs up for Evey's.

Had a good experience when at Evey True Value. Staff was nice enough although they did not go out of their way to help me. The staff and all people in the store were masked when I was there. They also had a sign indicating masks required. They had shovels and ice melt a day before the 9” snow that was forecasted so that was very nice. The prices seemed to be a couple dollars higher than the big box stores but the convenience and not loosing an hour of you life when all you need is a lightbulb is well worth any small extra cost.

Very helpful and knowledgeable fellows. I was putting up a railing myself and gave me good advice. I rented a powerful drill hammer to place 3/8 bolts in concrete from their tool rental services that was more then adequate to do the job. My project is turning out very nice for a 65 year old doing it himself. Thanks guys for all the recommendations!

I would have given Evey a 5 star review on my multiple experiences except for the fact that I rented what appeared to be an antique 18 inch trencher on 5/6/2021 that would not dig more than 8-10 inches. I was assured that the trencher would go through clay when I reserved it, but it most cases it would just stop churning when I hit it. When I mentioned my issues upon returning the trencher, I was promised a call from a manager the next day. 5 days later, I am still waiting for my phone to ring.Follow-up from initial 2 star review. I received a phone call very shortly after my review and they resolved my issue very quickly and explained exactly why there was a delay in contacting me. I appreciate the quick response and the hometown feel that you don’t get with the big box stores. Thank you.

Great staff, incredibly comprehensive inventory (especially hardware), friendly and very helpful atmosphere. Ample parking. Free popcorn. Great! My family has patronized this store for 30+ years and I personally have lost count of how many times I've been mid-project, needed a fitting or a fastener (or in the most recent case, electrical junction boxes), and been able to obtain it within minutes at Evey's.Recommended without hesitation...
