Lunch was good. No table service it's stand in line to order food so it might not be exactly how you asked for it. There is a large outdoor dining area. The market was great. They had things I didn't see for a while. Lots of prepared dinners and dessert items; plenty of fresh fruit. Homemade ice cream, jelly and jam, seasonings, dried fruit and nuts. The biggest soft pretzels I ever saw. Old fashioned soda pop and coffee central.

What an awesome place. Kid friendly with the playset and outdoor seating with umbrellas. Beautiful building and space outside. The market side has many options for either the pantry or fresh items. The restaurant side has great options and a very large ice-cream menu. We were so pleased with our visit on our way to vacation we stopped again on the way home. The onion rings.. wow! Crunchy and amazing! Soft pretzel was large and fresh... also tasty. The pulled pork Bernville special (got the small) was tasty. Hubby enjoyed his combo special which was a pulled pork sandwich. The kids menu is great, offering two sides, hamburger and Mac n cheese were good. Mozzarella sticks also looked good. The ice-cream.. milkshakes.. strawberry shortcake.. all very yummy!! This has to be my favorite family eatery in the Reading area so far. The wife and I have loved everything we've had here. Our favorites are the crispy chicken sandwich and their ice cream but you can't go wrong with their burgers, fries, sandwiches or pretzels. We look forward to spring time so our toddler can run around in their play area and we can enjoy their large outdoor space.

My friends and I make it a point to stop at Plum Creek Creamery along the way to Koziars Christmas Village for dinner every year.This has become an annual tradition for us and apparently we LOVE their pulled pork fries, popcorn chicken and ice cream twisters so much that we have gotten the same exact meal three years in a row. But you just can’t go wrong with any of their ice cream choices!

Stopped for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Small market with snacks, grab and go food, deli, and baked goods. Large ice cream and specialty coffee selection. Quick service foods with walk up ordering. Kids meals are a great deal. Food was good with no issues even during a very busy rush. Outdoor play area for kids to wind down at. Worth the stop.

‭Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!My family and I had a beautiful relaxing time here. It is so beautiful. Outside seating as well with small playground for your children. Glory to God. We've been here several times and will continue to come Lord willing.

They have no vegan options, not even vegetarian ones. Would it kill you to have a veggie burger on the menu? Second, for the prices of food, you could bring it to the table. You have dine in prices with counter service. Third, you don't make your own ice cream there, so why call yourself a creamery? You're an ice cream shop. The food was good, but with your limited menu (no vegetarian options aside from a salad) , prices, and counter service, I could only do 2 states stars. Add a veggie burger. They're cheap, freeze well, and you're able to serve more people.

A nice bonus is the Farmers Market.Parking: Can be hard to find a spot in the summer but they added more parkingKid-friendliness: Kids playing outside all the time.Wheelchair accessibility: Inside and out very accessible for all.

I discovered this fine business for the first time on Friday December 8, 2023. I actually made a U-turn just to check it out. What I saw was plenty of outdoor seating with a service window, a play area for the little ones, and a spacious sit-down area. Food is ordered at the counter. I had to laugh to myself when I saw the fireplace. Google Maps always asks me if there is a fireplace located in the businesses I review. Well, Plum Creek Creamery has a warm and toasty one right inside. The restaurant looks like a ski lodge both inside and out. The farm market was fun exploring. Located on PA183 between Reading and Bernville.

Went here yesterday and it’s still as good as I remember it. I ordered a root beer float and within about five minutes it was ready. They filled it up to the top with a heap of soft serve vanilla ice cream and the reading draft root beer 😋. There are so many items to choose from on the ice cream menu that left me torn between several different choices.Staff is friendly, I asked for a straw to go along with the float and the waitress obliged happily. The only negative part of the experience is that sometimes the line can stretch fairly long- but that’s because everybody knows how good the ice cream is. After ice cream, I went to the market on the side of the building. They had samples of oatmeal raisin cookies, and after trying one, I couldn’t leave without a whole cookie. The market is a decent size and I was surprised by the wall of jams, jellies, applesauces, and other canned goods. Admittedly, I haven’t gotten dinner or other snacks yet, but I’ve heard great things about that as well. Overall a pleasant experience.UPDATE: I’ve tried the restaurant since then and it’s as good as the ice cream. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and a drink- with some hesitancy, since the sandwich itself was $11. But after getting the food I could easily see why. The chicken sandwich was probably the largest one I’d ever eaten, with cheese, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and a tasty yellowish sauce. The chicken was fresh and crispy as well. It was messy for sure, but very good. The fries were golden brown and crispy, and tasted even better with the sauce from the sandwich. I would definitely come back here sometime.

Beautiful place. Very relaxing atmosphere with lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Play area for the kiddies. Great shopping. Canned goods, baked goods, candies, deli, farm fresh fruits and vegetables. Ice cream and hot food to order to you can sit ,relax and eat in. Lovely place. Awesome woodwork in the building. Someone really thought about building this place. Beautiful landscaping. You must stop in. You will visit again and again. 5 stars.

Absolutely beautiful lunch here with my family. We had fun trying the maple bacon ice cream and pulled pork fries. The soft pretzels are huge and very fresh tasting although they did take a long time tomake. The seating area is spacious and clean. The grocery store has some good options as well. The staff are very nice and accommodating. My three year old was a little grumpy from sleep deprivation and the staff were so kind about it.

Great place for quick eats and delicious ice cream! I had the meat salad and it was impressively good. My buddies had burgers and dogs and were happy. Nothing fancy. Ice Cream was absolutely delicious! Black raspberry was my favorite. Lots of outdoor seating and friendly service.

We stopped for lunch. We decided to check out their store. We purchased yams with pecans. Excellent. We also purchased potato filling. 2 pies. Everything was excellent. The prices were fantastic. Then the bonus of our stop was lunch. Excellent Highly recommend this establishment. Check out the size of our onion rings and bq pulled pork sandwich. TASTY
