Charlie AlbertMy family took a dog in from here about a month ago and the volunteers at the shelter told my family the dog was a 2 year old red heeler who was neutered a year ago. Come to find out the dog was 6 years old, was only neutered a month ago and was half pitbull. All of the dogs backstory that was told to my family was incorrect. The dog, named either Charlie or Albert, attacked and almost killed my dog, entirely unprompted. When we contacted the owner of this shelter to let them know that Albert or Charlie can’t be around small animals or children, the owner blamed it on my dog, saying he must have been picking a fight. I wanted to post this to hopefully inform whoever gets that dog next.

Absolutely amazing place. I found my forever dog here and they really care about who is adopting them. The awesome part is that veterans can get a companion pet with the adoption fee waived. I was very happy with how this place was ran and how much they care.

We fostered Coco for about 18 hours. She seems sweet but also turns on a dime. She bit my daughters cheek. I did return her and I'm not sure what will happen to her. I'm simply writing this review as a caution to anyone with kids who may look to adopt her if she is still available.... another chance, is not worth another bite!I think everyone here truly wants what is best for these dogs, I don't fault them at all, unless they continue to allow her to be adopted.

This was place was amazing.. Helpful clean.. the dogs seem happy.. Such amazing dedicated and caring staff. I feel like i hit the doggie lottery.Hard to believe its been over a year...Highly recommend adopting from RPSV...

We help foster under this organization. I love RPSV because it helps rescue and find fur-ever homes for the pups. All of the pups that I've fostered have been adopted <3 Another great thing about this organization is that the adoption fee is waived for the veterans. What a great way to give back to our vets.

We found our new fur baby from Rescue Pets Serving Vets . I'm so glad they also adopt their pups to people who are also not veterans. Casey is awesome! She is very understanding and gives you all the time you need to make sure you and the dog are a good fit . She wants to make sure these dogs go to their happy and forever homes .

We got our pitbull mix pup from here and she is amazing so many places never got back to me but they did right away and they won't let a dog that won't work with your family go with you. But if everything clicks you can take your new pup that day and way cheaper then other places we got her for $250 all shots up to date, collar, leash, flea meds, some food, and heart worm meds plus they pay to have your dog fixed. 100% recommend going here for your new pup😊

We adopted the best dog ever. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about all the dogs. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers for the life changing work they do by matching people with their forever dog friends.

I had an emergency my 2-year-old plott hound had a run in with a porcupine at 9 pm and had the quills stuck in his mouth and nose. I tried to get an appointment at an emergency veterinarian and no one had the time to take me. It seemed all four of the places I called were booked up and couldn't help me so I called rescue pet serving vets where I rescued my dog from and without hesitation they asked me if I could bring the dog to their location where they took care of him with caring hands and a smile.What a wonderful place and caring people. I can't even put into words how grateful I am.

Adopted my sweet dog Kameron from RPSV! Casey is so great to work with and she cares so much about all of the dogs and finding them great homes! She has also been influential for me while Kameron is undergoing heartworm treatment. Her volunteers are so friendly, too! This is definitely a great rescue aiming to help find homes for so many great dogs.

I highly recommend this shelter. It is Well ran they are running on a shoestring budget in a take excellent care of all their animals and really care about them and could use everybody's help and support. I am very happy with the pet that I adopted there today
