Stopped in for a tasting on Friday. Very cute set up and it was not busy so it was peaceful. The options were limited. Not sure if that's because of being out of stock or items not being in season. The ciders were kind of like a wine base but I'm also used to Michigan ciders where they are more carbonated. The original kind was not for me. Had an alcohol taste to it but I did buy a bottle of cranberry to take home. Was so light and refreshing. Would of been nice to go on Saturday when they had live entertainment scheduled but had other plans.

My wife and I are from the Baltimore area and making our second trip up to Shickshinny Lake. Found Colonel Ricketts today and was more than pleasantly surprised. We were absolutely enchanted with the cidery. Service was amazing. Felt like talking to a friend while ordering. I can't wait to be back in the fall to visit again. The peach cider, Blackberry Hooch, and 3yr old cider were among the faves. The flights were perfect to figure out which one we loved...all the ciders were solid. Definitely something for everyone. The 3yr old had been aged in JD barrels and was my favorite. Glad to take the Blackberry Kombucha, 3yr, and some of the peach home. Wow, just such a beatiful place. MUST GO IF IN THE AREA!!!!

Both ladies were super nice! This was my first time here, so they explained everything in detail. They have alcoholic and non alcoholic items. You can bring your own food, hang out, and enjoy the cider. The location is wonderful! The barn would offer protection from rain or other bad weather, but there is also seating outside for nicer days. I am excited to go back again!

We had both cider and hard kombucha here and both were absolutely excellent. It was unpretentious, relaxing, and rustic gorgeous. Husband said he felt as relaxed as if we were on a Jamaican Cruise.Recommend: 3yr aged apple cider and berry mint kombucha!Dogs allowed. 🐾🐾We brought over dinner from Valley View Pizza and drinks from here went perfect. 😊

We happen to be in Benton for a bday party. Found this brewery and had to go and try it. The Fuji Fanatic was my favorite. If you like the taste of wiskey this hard cider is for you. The fruit flavors were tasty as well. The building (barn)has the best atmosphere & I wish we cold have stayed for the band. Its a must stop & try for travelers.

Cute place to go to relax and have some cider! The bartender was very friendly and informative and let us try as much as we wanted before we chose which cider to purchase. They have seating inside and outside.

Very friendly. Fantastic explanation of their history as well as notes that can be tasted with each sample. They don't serve food yet except for pretzels to clear the pallet but we were allowed to eat our sandwiches that we brought along. We purchased two bottles for now. Will come again!

First, the ambiance was perfect. A barn that gives that great NEPA, authentic, rustic feel. The owner is a very kind man who you can tell is very passionate about his kraft. Tasting was amazing. Cider is amazing as well. The cider variations that stood out moat we're delicious red and the original 3 year. My favorite winery on the trail we checked out. New birch cider arriving soon!

Visited their tasting location on a whim. We were camping in Benton, noticed the sign, and dropped in. It's an awesome barn filled with antique farm equipment and local artisan goods. The hosts were very welcoming, first giving us a tour of the building, quizzing our kids on the antique machinery while giving them a history lesson. We received excellent tasting notes and details on the fermenting process while tasting the many amazing ciders. After purchasing several bottles, the owner offered to take us on a tour of their cidery, several blocks away. We followed him back and received an in-depth tour and lesson on the cider brewing process. We added our names to the walls of visitors from all over the world. It was a great experience, provided by hospitable, friendly hosts, and to top it off, their cider is the best you'll ever taste. You just cannot beat their Fuji cider by the fire with a toasted s'more.

This is one of my favorite local places to chill on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Great atmosphere, friendly service, wide variety of local drinks, family and dog friendly. Highly recommend!

Very cool place! Rustic barn featuring local artisan products and a selection of their own hard ciders! The proprietors are welcoming and knowledgeable about their products and invite you to sample. Definitely visiting again!

I was passing through Benton a few weeks back and we stopped at the Farmers Market.You were kind enough to explain your apple process and we had an intimate wine tasting. I was very impressed with all of your products.We bought a single bottle of out favorite and the family enjoyed it that night for dinner.My mistake was buying just a SINGLE bottle!I wish I had purchased more.-Steve Crowley

If your taste buds are up for a good time ... then this is the place to be. The Apple Sip was introduced to me by Rob and it was so good, we offered it at our Insurance Agency's Open House. By far, the Apple Sip and Fiji were the most popular flavors ... and they didn't last long. I like the simplicity of Colonel Rickett's products and the passion that Rob pours into his craft. Five stars, all day long!

Female owner was domineering, unfriendly, and apparently unfamiliar with common customer service practices. She did not even acknowledge us when we entered, as we stood, waiting for some kind of information. She talked down to three adult men who went to her establishment with high hopes and every intention of patronage. Only check this place out if you are interested in being treated without respect.

Checked website for hours, found they were open on day we would be out for a drive. Drove 2½/hrs to find them closed. Was not as depicted on their site either. What represented as a cider mill/winery, what we found was a grungy garage type building, dirty and almost looked abandoned.
