Such a neat place! My Aunt and Uncle took me here for breakfast and I was really impressed!For starters, the coffee cups are huge, so for someone like me that drinks a lot of coffee, I was enjoying the big coffee cups. The food portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable.The staff was very friendly and seemed to treat everyone as if they were part of the family.I was very impressed and would love to dine here again if I get the chance!Thank you for such a great experience!

Right up front you need to know - this restaurant only takes cash. It's a cozy spot that the locals love. The food was plentiful and very fairly priced. We appreciated the extremely helpful server who made our morning meal very enjoyable.Parking: Gravel lot beside the restaurant and street parking out front.

Recommend by a friend, I'm glad he did. Small quaint place, I think most of the patrons were locals. Wife and I had breakfast and it was very good. Service was great and the price was reasonable for the abundant amount of food. We will definitely stop in again.

We love to eat breakfast here. The food is good and extremely reasonable in price, especially since coffee or tea is included in most of the breakfast combinations. The atmosphere in charming in the old historic hotel, with a log wall on one side of the small dining room. Service is good and very friendly. Can't speak for lunch or dinner menu, since we only stop by for breakfast when passing through Bendersville!

I took my mother to her 71st year class reunion today. The food tasted excellent! Our waitress was a dream! The cook made a very considerate meal for senior citizens! Great homestyle cooking! Everything was very well planned out! They even took their class picture and printed them out so they would have them before we left!

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit today. The restaurant seems very popular with local residents, but we didn't feel out of place. Awesome selection of tea, so off to a great start for me. A large cup of hot water was delivered along with a pot of water, perfect for my needs. I ordered ham and swiss omlete with homefries and pancakes.I prefer a more fluffy omlete, but it had lots of ham and cheese. Homefries were slightly under done, but not a deal breaker. I wish I hadn't saved pancakes until last because they were especially light and fluffy. Plenty to eat for a low price, great way to start the weekend. Thanks, we will be back.

In the tiny town of Bendersville, PA located at the main intersection is the Elkhorn Inn. The cabin like interior and the great food make this a very enjoyable outing.Bendersville is just north of Biglerville, PA and not far from Gettysburg, PA. The Elkhorn Inn has adequate parking and a nice size dining room. Daily specials are home cooked favorites and Tuesday is a big deal with the Beef Pot Pie.HOURS: 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays; 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays; and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.
