Dollar general needs to start paying their employees to match the inflation for one and two no product is ever put away because you refuse to pay people correctly and get staff in your stores. This is embarrassing for dollar generals everywhere AS THEY ARE ALL THE SAME WAY. sickening. If I was your staff I’d be scheduling walkouts or strikes!

Despite the fact I worked at this store, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. It's clean, a bit cluttered but you can't avoid that, the staff are friendly, and definitely helpful, going above and beyond to give proper customer service. I could go on about how amazing the employees I worked with are, but the main focal point should be the store itself. It's a great location, unless you're delivering truck, it's never particularly crowded but it has peak hours like every place would. The merchandise is always variously diverse and super cute, in my opinion, it's a great place to shop, it really is. It's convenient, charming, and full of lovely and wonderful people.

Dont even want to give this store 1 star. Dirty floors. Items are thrown everywhere and merchandise lying on the floors. Tripping hazards. Clerks can be seen outside smoking and on their cellphone. Very messy store.

Great clearance items right now. One item not marked with price but located in same area and was not reduced. New selections coming on for Easter and spring. Lots of winter and Valentine's Day on clearance. Store fairly neat though it was clear there was recent delivery. Friendly cashier who was helpful on price checking and conversing. I'd recommend shipping there. Wide food selection at this store!

It's a really nice store but a little under staffed,but the workers are very nice and helpful.its the place to go for odds and ends like toilet paper,shampoo,etc....

Disclaimer: the levee broke here & this is the edited version. Im a once weekly shopper of this location, primarily a customer of the Tyrone DG which is within a few blocks of home. This store is almost always well stocked, rarely out of whatever Im looking for, but above all else-the product is predominantly arranged in an orderly fashion, WITH price tags visible & in reasonable proximity to corresponding product. I have seen the same (male, ginger, adore him) assistant manager & 2 cashier's (young dark hair & specs; 1 older curly lt brown hair & the sweetest caring demeanor) actively working to keep the shelves in this order.... THANK YOU, ITS NOTICED, please encourage the other employees to follow your examples! I can't express the difference that makes. From a shopper perspective it's crucial for retention, but operationally...the impact these tedious tasks are proven to have on the profit margins is why it should be what the few bad eggs out front smoking should be doing while on company time! THE BAD, IMO: There are 2 cashier's & 1 (casual or PT) assistant manager here that tend to work Sunday nights that are absolutely unfit to work retail. Dear cashier's & management of retail establishments AROUND THE GLOBE: We know you 1) hate your job 2) hate ppl &/or morally bankrupt/unskilled on basic manners/need training wheels put back on, maybe welded, & dbl up on the floaties ...cant be too safe 3) hate smiling, sunshine & puppies. RULE#01 No one cares how anyone's doing, or if they found the baby wipes. Saying "hi, did'ya find everything ok?" Or "hi, how're'ya doin today?" BOTH standard greet-n-go lingo, no one cares, including the customer... UNLESS, YOU DON'T SAY IT. Your ships taking on water rapidly now. RULE#02: Always greet customers immediately, offer assistance, dont stalk them though its creepy af & offensive ..( if you can muster above initial contact greeting, great but miracle workers we are not). LASTLY, this is across the board all retailers on the planet: NO EMPLOYEE SHOULD EVER BE PERMITTED TO SMOKE ANYWHERE VISIBLE TO CUSTOMERS WHETHER ITS BREAK TIME, OR NOT. EVERY retail establishment has rear exterior door & perimeter exits due to fire code & emergency exit protocols. Go out there, not the front of the store. Its not a good look, & no one cares if your punched out or not.... It just looks wrong, trashy & those long lines of people are deeply compelled to send bad feedback & reviews after waiting in lines only to walk out to see 1-2 employees, knee deep in FB minding everyone's business but their own, cigarettes ablazing, right outside the door. Corporate, your welcome.

Went into this location to pick up a few items. Will NEVER return!!! One cash register open and 3 other employees standing around talking. We had 2 items. Got tired of waiting, laid the items down and left. Will travel to Tyrone or Greenwood before returning to this location!!!

Not Good. Understaffed. Truck came in, no one to unload it, back room full of merchandise, store full of merchandise, somebody is over ordering, and not even any windshield washer fluid on the Shelf? In the middle of summer?. Not impressed.

The one employee that was actually friendly is relocating 😕 Besides the monotone staff, they have a great selection. I frequent most DG stores around the area and luckily this is the closest to my home!

The only complaint I ever have is when they get a truck in, the store is congested with products that need put away

This place is ok i give it a 2 and a half the way they put their products in the isles is wierd they have a drink section but the powerade and Gatorade are in a completely different isle
