I stopped here 11/7/23 around 2am and had a very friendly interaction with the guy making food. Store wasn't busy at all, so that was great tooRutters is soooo much better than Sheetz. Clean, spacious, great food.

I went to Rutgers last weekend since a couple years ago I had the best wings in the whole world, and wanted them again ! The wings had “Rutter’s Special Sauce”. I discovered though that they no longer have this flavor 😔 An employee there by the name of Nick apologized for this then helped us with another wing flavor after he tried to get the “Rutter’s Special Sauce” anyway. He spent some time w us, was a very creative problem solver and went way above and beyond his job as a cashier. He was awesome ! Thanks for excellent customer service and delicious Asian wings! They might be even better than the Rutter’s Special Sauce wings! We love this place!

The store is very nice and clean. The workers aren't so much. Trying to fill our cups up and a worker just squeezed in by me and started cleaning. The old guy and girl weren't friendly at all. Not even helpful.

Great place always very clean and has great food the only problem I have is they don't have diabetic foods so when we stop there sadly my husband can't eat nothing but a plain hamburger with mustard and lettuce with no bun :( wish they had more of a selection for diabetics and people that have other issues with eating like people with food allergies. I already talked to sheetz and they are working on making this happen for other with diabetics and food allergies so they can eat as well

So I really didn't wanna make this review I genuinely like this rutters. I'm a EVERYDAY customer there and fuel there as a truck driver everyday so I'm well known at this location as I'm there everyday and I'm always friendly but they have a employee named Max she's rude, disrespect and very unprofessional to myself and other customers ive seen through my time coming here and has an i don't care midset which she's said herself when confronted she's also on her phone all the time in view of customers and is peirced unprofessionaly and I'm surprised she's still a employee at this location I'd give 5 stars if not for this employee

Very impressed with cleanliness inside and outside. Coffee is fresh and delicious: lots of choices. Service is great too.- very well-staffed- greeted as we came in the door. Only 3 in line and a second employee came to the checkout. We're retired truck drivers and have been in many, many stops. Appreciate your excellent service.

VERY NICE and very roomy. I absolutely love the roomy and not so cluttered feeling. It's new, nice, bright, and nice rewards system. The food was a little pricy, but good. This store looks very nice and has a lot of parking! UPDATE: The Breakfast Sandwiches are outstanding!

Of all the gas stations in the area this is the best for food and gas. They used to compete on gas prices but now they are normal prices with the rest . They have a great breakfast

Excellent selection of grab and go food. Clean and organized restrooms. Some of the pumps have 15% ethanol and 50-60% ethanol gas.

My husband and I stopped by this morning for the first time just to grab breakfast. We both have a real sweet tooth, but I have to say that the waffles that we bought were way too sweet. The first 2 bites were good. After that it was too much. Sorry, but neither one of us could finish them. I must also say that Sheetz, Bellefonte have much friendlier employees. My husband wants to return just to try other food as Rutter's has always had a good reputation for great food..I'll give them a chance. Good luck Rutter's. You appear to be doing well so far!

Really nice place that is kind of in an out-of-the-way location, that has a large area for trucks to park, and inside, had all you need for food, even made to order! Has truck diesel pumps, and easy access to it all. I like this place! Very clean and brand new at the moment... I'm hoping it stays that way!

Got a breakfast sandwich yesterday and it was perfect, the guy put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Today I got the same sandwich and the girl didn't microwave it and it sucked.

Lot of "food critics" in this section who are trying to review this place like it's a 5 star restaurant. They obviously have a very high opinion of themselves. I couldn't be happier that there's a rutters up here now. I had a great experience and good food! Hope there are more Rutter's stores up here in the future!

The guy in the fast food section needs to loose his attitude and learn to read! My order said NO egg. Guess what. Both sandwiches had egg on them.

Horrible food. The chicken salad sandwich ended up being just chicken salad inside of a black claw container topped with onions and green peppers. My 4 pc chicken tender was burnt to a crisp and 3 of the 4 pc of chicken were less than an inch in size and the fries filled maybe half of the fry container and they were raw. For this being my first experience with Rutgers, I’ll continue to go to sheetz. The best part is no customer service to rectify the situation and the number I was given to call is a voicemail not a real person to speak with.

The store is very roomy, and I didn't have to wait in line the 2 times I went this week.But, a few things I was less than satisfied with:First visit, I ordered a fish sandwich. Just fish, provolone cheese, and tartar sauce. I wasn't impressed with the flavor or the fact that it seemed overly moist and was falling apartin my hands.Second visit, I ordered fried rice with beef and sauteed onions. I realized when I ordered it that it was pricey. But, when I got home, I also realized that the portion was very small. The onions seemed more like they were fried a little instead of sauteed.Also, I asked the cashier if they had any caffeine pills, like NoDoze or Vivaren, behind the counter. Because I didn't see any medications on the floor. He had no idea.I know they just opened, so I will cut them some slack. But, zI won't get fried rice again. Not when it is a better deal from Bellefonte Wok.

Ordered a bacon cheese burger with fries and a milk shake. Drove back to my house about 3 miles from Rutgers. The burger was cold and the milkshake had chunks of ice in it. Really very disappointing. Called the store to talk to somebody about my experience. They could not transfer my call to the kitchen staff.

So, I get off work late at night and often stop at Rutters. But if one particular old man is working, you could be standing at an unmanned register for upwards of 20 minutes. Tonight I stood at the register for 10 minutes before I put my stuff back and said "screw it, I'm going to sheetz." Honestly, no problems unless the old man is working nights. He has no concept of paying attention to the register. He needs to go.
