We have taken 2 of our boys here a few times and they always do a good job and have great prices. Recently we took our 8 month old for his first haircut and their hairstylist Haley did so great with him. They even gave us a cute little certificate with his name and date, an envelope with some hair, and a t-shirt!

I got my haircut by Shay today. I asked for a simple trim and instead got all the hair I’ve been growing out cut off. Then when I called to explain that I’m desperately unhappy, she yelled at me saying that I got what I asked for. Not only did I not get what I was asking for, I got a butchered, uneven cut. I’ve gotten bad cuts before, but this takes the cake. Then the terrible customer service and lack of professionalism made matters worse. Even my four year old was making fun of this cut.

I first started going to this place around 4 years ago because of being reassigned to the area while serving in the Army; they are phenomenal. Friendly service coupled with professional care. I would highly recommend this to anyone!!!

This is a great place to get your haircut. I’ve been going there for 6-7 years now, staff is super friendly, my kids love going as well as my dog, I won’t go anywhere else. The only down fall is not every stylist know what they are doing..**(stay to the stylist in the chairs to the right when walking in)** definitely better stylist.Services: Haircut, Fade cut

I took my almost 2 yr old to get his 1st hair cut. While he was not a fan of getting his hair cut.. The barber was so nice and patient with us! She was great!!The wait was less than 5 minutes to get in. And at the end we were given a t-shirt, gift certificate and an envelope with his hair from his first cut. I would definitely recommend going here!

Ashley was amazing here. She did great cutting my little man's hair for the first time. She was so patient and kind with him, will be returning. I bawled like a baby the whole time and she even stopped to hand me the whole box of tissues❤️ the envelope with his curls in it, the certificate and the T-shirt were great too.

Would not recommend for a child who is afraid of hair cuts. Stylist didn’t introduce herself, didn’t ask my sons name, was rude and rough. Didn’t smile once. I left there shaking and when I asked if she even knew my sons name when we were leaving she and her coworker just mouthed off at me as I walked out. My little boy is only one. I know it was hard to cut his hair while he was screaming. It was hard on me too. I guess maybe I was looking for an ally to get through it. She couldn’t have been further from that. She gave him a great cut, especially considering how upset he was. But the experience was severely soured by her demeanor. We were told by several people that this was a great place for kids. Owen's Cuts was recommended to me by a friend as a good place to take your kid for a haircut. My daughter is 3 years old and this was her first time getting her hair cut. They did not disappoint! They have an area for kids to play in while waiting as well as special seats for kids (a plane and a police car). Ashley was great with my daughter! She cut her hair exactly how I asked and did it quickly as well. Afterwards, she presented me with a "First Haircut" Certificate, a keepsake envelope of some of my daughter's hair, AND a t-shirt that says "My First Haircut at Owen's Cuts!" Everything included, the cost was $15. A great price for the memories! This is such a neat place, and I will absolutely continue to take my kids here.

Great experience. Got seated almost instantly, was asked how I wanted my hair cut, no small talk, and the hair dresser nailed it. I got in and out in ~15 and the cut was only $14 (as of 2020/09/17). Will be returning in the future. Only downside is that I forgot cash and it's cash only.

Will is by far one of the most meticulous and talented barbers in the bellefonte area.It took me two years to have a cut with him and he killed it.He takes his time so expect the cut to take about 20-30 minutes but its the best one your gonna get around here.

I've been going there for a few years now and I've had enough. There's only a couple of people that work there that can do a good job. I've had multiple haircuts that have been totally screwed up. One side of my bangs were trimmed the other side was forgotten about, gouges in the side of my head and this last time I had half my side burn taken off clear below my eye and the other wasn't hardly touched and the fade is so lop sided and it's extremely noticable. Will be going elsewhere from now on.

I use to get my hair cut by my sister who had her own barber shop and she did my hair in a very special way and when I went to Owen's they got my hair cut perfect even when I failed to explain how I got my hair done very nice staff and I paid $28 for me and my 1 year old son highly recommended

Wanted to try a new barber as I have just moved. Asked for a high and tight. 5/8" on top and skin on the sides. Lady told me she doesn't have a 5/8" blade so 1/2 would be fine.She finishes cutting my hair, and there is less than 1/8" on top. I look balder than bald.Will be driving back to my old barbershop after this experience.

Never a wait, great staff so be prepared to feel at home; I have a military cut and both state college and Bellefonte locations do an excellent job! Best part other than looking great after, you can take a lollipop as an adult!
