Lovely shop that is a cafe and marketplace. If you are on a Paleo diet there are not many options to choose from. No beverages at all since they don't even offer herbal tea. We got the Shakshuka without the bread and the Mediterranean salad. They were both all right. The presentation was good.The girl working behind the counter was really nice and helpful in answering all the questions I had. Due to limited seating, they limit the times you can work at the Cafe or have study groups.

Overall, our experience at Bonfatto’s’s was really nice. The food came out relatively quickly and our coffees were delicious. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five stars is because I can imagine that during a busy time there would be little to no seating available for people. I also wish that there was a place where you could park for free to to be able to enjoy the dining experience.The customer service people were very nice.We both got the breakfast bowl. I got mine without the beets and with an extra egg.I do like that breakfast is served all day

This is a very cute spot to dine in or take to go! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches & added Italian sausage to them. We also go a cafe freddo (iced latte) and two macarons. The place is nicely set up & has a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly & helpful even when it was busy. Check this local place out if you’re coming through bellefonte!

We are just in Bellefonte for a few days, and we keep going back to Bonfatto's. The coffee drinks and chai are delicious. The sandwiches and Italian cheese and meat sampler were amazing. I'm just sorry we won't be around to try the whole menu. Highly recommended!Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options.

My favorite cafe shop in the Bellefonte/State College area! Their coffee and coffee flavors are absolutely delicious! I love to try their specials, but their classic flavors never disappoint either. They also have great cafe food, I love their chicken pesto panini, and their desserts are also so good! I’ve been here multiple times, a few times with a larger party. Although seating is limited, we were able to find seats. Also when it’s nice you can always go and sit in the park nearby and enjoy your food/drinks. Overall, I highly recommend stopping on by here!

This was my second visit to Bonfattos. I wish I knew about it sooner. The staff is welcoming, the food is phenomenal, and the location is convenient. We loved the vodka penne the first time and this time we enjoyed the Italian tasting board. So delicious! It’s a cafe environment with regular tables and high top tables. They have a variety of food, marketplace items, ice cream, coffee, and pastries. The lemon bar is fantastic, as are the scones and bomboloni! I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back whenever I’m in Bellefonte!!Can’t wait to come back and try the famous bonanza subs!

Beautiful shop right in the center of a quaint little town. Delicious food, desserts, and coffee. Their GF breakfast sandwich was AMAZING. The macarons had just enough sweetness to satisfy and were bursting with flavor. Coffee break! In between exploring Downtown Bellfonte, we stopped at Bonfatto’s Italian Market & Corner Cafe for coffee and a quick bite to eat.I spent wayyy too much money in this little cafe…mostly beverages. I ordered a raspberry iced mocha latte, their watermelon cucumber mint refresher and 2 cans of kombucha by Moody Culture Kombucha.I also ordered their Ricotta Toast topped with Lox and Capers which was INCREDIBLE!

Italian bakeries are easy to come by at home in Toronto and are always my favorite place to go for real food and a relaxing atmosphere. This place did not let me down it was fantastic! This staff was so patient and friendly, the restaurant is so nice and clean and the food was outstanding! You can't end your meal without a coffee and dessert, made fresh and so yummy!Dietary restrictions: They offered GF bread for my pesto chicken panini AND the MOSat delicious GF oatmeal cookie sandwich!

Wonderful little place in a wonderful little town right across from a beautiful park to sit and take in the Central PA Beauty. Trout in the creek, people everywhere, history surrounding you, oh and the food was okay. Got the caprese panini. Seemed to take a lifetime and was pretty, but not very tasty. I would skip it and go for something like a sub. Check out the coffee shop and bakery next door too!

The best original Italian around!! This cute little eatery is nestled in the charming historic downtown district of Bellefonte. Enjoy indoor and outdoor seating. The food is fresh! The atmosphere inside of this family owned restaurant is welcoming, clean, and beautiful. I really enjoy spending money here due to the fact that they renovated an old building and breathed new life into our little town. You cannot miss if you choose this for your next meal or coffee date. Don't be surprised if there's a bit of a wait. This is a local favorite for good reason!

The sandwiches are good. But I wouldn't say they are the best Italian Sandwiches. So the Hype is not all that in my opinion cause the Best Italian Sandwiches are in Philly, Jersey, NY. Where a sandwich is a true meaning of sandwich.

We haven't been here since they changed locations a while back. Stopped in for coffee and pastries today and everything was great! The shop is much larger than expected with a nice seating area indoors. We went around lunch time and conveniently ordered online for pickup! No problems whatsoever and this is so conveniently located near parking and the Talleyrand park! We definitely will be back for a proper lunch some time👍 Bonus: picture of an awesome cannoli from bonfattos

I love this place. The atmosphere, the food, the coffee and the history behind this place is perfect. I am not much of a coffee drinker but I am absolutely obsessed with their coffee. I am a regular customer and go there every weekend. Both days. Their food is delicious and fulfilling. Hands down the best Penne Vodka & Coffee in town. Only wish they would expand to accommodate more people on weekends to allow for PC sessions. Besides that, this place is P E R F E C T!!!

Get off 80 and make a quick little detour to this place it is so worth it. We were traveling through and wanted to stop and stretch our legs. They have a awesome food and coffee selection and a ton of italian baked goods.
