Have you ever gone somewhere and wonder where all the employees are? If not, go to Belle Vernon Big lots. You will get exactly that. And when you do get someone, they could care less to help you. Because, they just walk away while you are talking to them and you are willing to buy something. Or maybe, the big items are not for sale and the big items might just be decorations. Sucks because, the stuff is really nice.

I've purchased a couch n love seat on sale for $349 each and I got lucky they only had one set left. It looks the same as the last time I was there if you look around the store they have a few good deals but you have to look hard. I just hope my living room isn't cheaply made.

Store is very disorganized. They are advertising 50% off summer items, and yet everything in the section is not part of the sale.The cashier was very helpful while the manager was downright rude. The cashier was ringing people out, answering the telephone, and checking to see if items were in stock for the phone calls. There were no other employees in sight during our entire shopping trip. Manager seemed very irritated by us as well as cashier when asked to verify summer sale.Cashier seemed like a very dedicated employee and it's a shame he's being managed sub-par.

I have several food sensitivities and we were shocked to find some pretty good healthy food and snacks at Big Lots for better prices than other places. You can't guarantee they will have a specific thing because they sell whatever they happen to get a good deal on. But, if you are just looking you can find some good stuff. Also, the furniture at Big Lots isn't bad. We have seen some nice things there and bought all of our curtains and a TV stand there. Overall, it's a good place to find deals.

Picked up an online order. When I got home I opened it and it was not the right item. I called the store and was told to return it, and I would get the right item if it was in stock. Within a few minutes I received a call back from the store, he had found what I ordered on the shelf and pulled it so I could swap straight out when I got there. Great customer service Rich.

Girl that checked me out, either didn't know what she was doing, or 2 of the registers were not working right. She rang my stuff up 3 different times, then said I had to go to another register, and had 4 people in front of me, I decided I had been patient enough, I left my 80.00 order and left the store.. they should have made the other people in line wait.. I hardly ever go here, I guess it will be a while before I go back.

Picked up a recliner here for my dad for christmas. It was a reasonable price and (based on appearances) of good quality. I called to make sure they had it before heading down as it's a half hour drive. They set it aside for me. Upon arriving they were polite and helpful, including bringing out to curb and assisting me with loading it into my truck.

Big lots has such a assortment of items. I personally like to buy my curtain rods and curtains there, as they are cheaper. They also sell home decor, large furniture like sofas and dining room tables, pillows, Blanket sets, toys, food, hygiene, electronic accessories. They're prices are quite affordable, and I love when they get their Holiday decor (Halloween & Christmas). Cashiers have always been kind and friendly, and the store is not usually crowded when I visit.

From great furniture (for indoors and out) to home goods and pet items and health&beauty items ....BIG LOTS is the place ! And the Belle Vernon location also has really nice employees and now has a freezer/cooler section in their food department!

Nice Big Lots. Newer, clean, organized. No WiFi or cell signal - not strong I should say - so your online coupons are best pulled up when near register. Great selection of items and furniture.

They have chaged the whole store around inside. All the furniture is in the middle. We had excellent help from a young man that worked there. The lady at the cashier was very sweet and nice.Nothing but good things to say about this store in Belveron

This is much, much cleaner and more organized than other Big Lots across the US. The other unique thing about this store is that they say "yinz" as you leave; the Pittsburghese version of "y'all come back now." I don't think they realize it. Which makes it even better :)

I pass two Big Lots on my way to this location because of the friendly and knowledgeable staff and also because this store appears so clean that it doesn’t even resemble a Big Lots store. It is also refreshing to be greeted at the door as you walk in by a store asdociate

March 20-2021 payed cash for a gazeebo....was told it would be 2 weeks to come in...well I just called because it has been a month...I was told they don't know when it will be in and have no way of finding out!! That is unacceptable!

Employees helpful, store well organized -- do not shop there often, once a month or so but when I do it's a pleasant experience
