I am new in the area and called to just get my two dogs bathed. My appointment was for 8am. And I had to call them twice by 3 o clock to ask if they were done yet. I went back at 4:30 with still no call. They were still not done. My dogs didn't get water for the whole day. And my bill was $111.00. I was mortified.

Literally the worst place I've taken my dog. At first I gave the place a chance, it was cheap and was very close. The first 2 times I kenneled my husky, she was alright but she smelled very strongly of pee and always came home VERY thirsty. Today I kenneled her as I was away. I picked her up at around 7:50, the man watching her let me go in and told me the price was now UPed, it was once 20 dollars to now 30. When I got her in the car her entire face was wet with urine and she felt very dirty. What's worse is because she's a husky the urine soaks into her fur and she instantly needs a bath when she gets home. I know it's the cheapest but it's really not the best.

I have two Great Pyrenees and they were a mess since the "virus" closed our groomers shop.They conditioned their fur, which not even my regular groomer did. They did a great job! I would recommend them to anyone.

My family has been taking our dogs here for over 30 years now. I continued the tradition with my own two dogs. I live 3 hours away and make the trip in every time. The staff and owner have always been good to me and my family. Highly rate coming here

Do NOT take your pets here!! My dog has been groomed frequently by various groomers and has never acted so nervous and depressed as he did when I picked him up today. Not to mention he was there for 9 hours. I dropped him off at 8 am, was told he would be done by 2. I live 40 minutes away so an approximate time is appreciated. After 3:00 I called and they said he’d be done at 4:00. I decided to go to the groomers at 5:00, he still wasn’t finished and he had urine and feces on him! The owner wouldn’t even talk to me, she relayed messages back and forth through another worker. After 20 minutes of waiting I said I just want to take him home regardless if he’s finished or not. They wouldn’t give me my dog until I paid the $75! Who wants to pay $75 for a dog covered in feces!? Moral of the story: SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

I took my dog in to get a short cut and they shaved him bald and also cut him on his stomach with the shaver and didn't even tell me. When I called them they said I asked for a shave not a cut. They were rude and uncaring that my dogs double coat probably will not grow back properly. Very unprofessional, arrogant and ill informed owner and staff

Wonderful experience, we were nervous about leaving our new puppy, but they were great with her. We called everyday and they gave us an update how she was doing. They even stayed late for us to pick her up the evening we got back. Trimmed her even on late notice.

My dogs side was pee strained when I picked him up. When I went to pick him up no one was there as they had said they would be when I dropped him off. I tried the number given but couldn’t contact anyone. I was contacted later that night and told that they had decided to go to a party. I had to pick my pet up the next day and pay for another day. I live 45 minutes away. Not at all happy with my pets care. Will never use this kennel again.

Tried to charge me $230 for $81 worth of boarding. Insisted that I brought the dogs in three days earlier than I actually did. Took them a half an hour to finally figure out that they were looking at the wrong dogs despite the fact I asked them at least 5 times to double check. The same person that I dropped the dogs at was actually there. Totally Disorganized, wasted loads of my time and accused me of lying to try to get out of paying for the board. After they realized they totally screwed up they didn't even apologize.

I usually take both of my pups here to get their nails done and the one gets "the works" while he is here. The bigger pup LOVES it here. Whenever they groom him they always tell me that he just snuggles up next to them. The little one (need I remind you he is a yorkie) hates it, however, they are so patient with him. I know he can work my nerves, but they love on him anyways!

I took two puppies to their kennel for one 24 hour period. They came out filthy of their own urine and feces. They acted like they hadn't eaten at all when I got them home and they literally urinated all over the place like they were stuck in a small kennel without being let out. Stay away from this place if you care about the treatment of your pet.

As a kennel attendant at this business, I must respond to Mrs Hershbergers negative review. Her huskys boarded overnight with us and were then given a free bath before leaving. When she came to pick them up, they got excited and both of them went to the bathroom in our front lobby. Mrs Hershberger then allowed the puppies to run and roll around in the mess. Puppies will be puppies! But the dogs were clean and well fed during their visit with us. We do not take responsibility for any mess made once the leash is in back the owners hand.

So far, I have had great results with my kitty. She is 13, won't let another groomer touch her, and they have been able to groom her without any difficulty. I'm happy to have found them!

actually my animals were very well treated and cared for by Stottlemyer's I first took my dogs there years ago because people spoke so well of them . monday i am calling to make an appointment to have our special old girl Dawn bathed, nails trimmed and hair cut shes old and we wouldnt trust anyone else with her . Perhaps Janet Gates I would also trust but other than these two the list is very short of who we trust our pets with ./Tommy Cicala

Took my 8 month old Pitbull there to get his nails clipped. When they brought him out he had nails still hanging on that wasn’t fully clipped and his one nail was completely split. I will never take another animal there for anything.
