I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. They kept my truck for three months, constantly giving excuses for the delay. Every time I called for an update, Shane sweet-talked me but never seemed to know what was going on with my truck. Towards the end, I got frustrated because of the prolonged delay. Shane's unprofessionalism was evident when I was told my truck was ready, only to find out it needed more work after getting an alignment. Overall, this was one of the worst shops I've dealt with. I would recommend going elsewhere for any bodywork needs.

Used to do a good job but lately it seems i have to fix stuff that mechanic broke. They've cross threaded my cap on my overflow tank, told me my window switch quit working when in fact they broke the rocker clear off of it. Took in to replace my turbo and after they did diagnosis instead of just changing it just to run the bill up i had to tighten all the clamps so i could drive it even after their mechanic said it road tested good. At some point i can only assume when clutch was done they either broke both bolts holding my exhaust support bracket to transmission or didn't put the one back in. Replaced an a/c line and dryer when turbo was done because the say it blew after road test. If i had to guess the mechanic broke that too. I now have to replace exhaust from turbo to the dpf filter. I assume the support bracket not being bolted on let the bellows flex too much and broke them. They even wanted to tear a rear apart for a leak that doesn't exist. Im not sure what they did but now i have to keep adding antifreeze sometimes once a week sometimes twice a week. Seems funny i haven't had to put any in for over a year now since they had it for the turbo its going somewhereServices: Transmission, Electrical

Over priced!!This place is a ripoff, I came here for a problem with my carrier reefer and told the front deck and technician where my problems where witch was a line in the reefer leaking diesel and my condesor was leaking Freon I hade been to this shop before just a month ago they put Freon in my reefer and here I was again needing more Freon that costs $700 bucks because they didn’t catch the leak that was already in my condenser. Anyways 6 days latter and 10 working hours latter they tell me they changed a simple 1 ft line for my diesel leak and the condenser will be a whole different huge bill. So I asked what did they do this hole time having my reefer and for 6 days they said we tighten up screws and we changed the fuel line witch is about a foot that’s very easy that anyone could do. And my bill is thousands. I only came here because of the choices I had around me and the (reviews) this place had figured it was good. This place is not for an owner operator it’s for drivers they give them bags of chips free water and let them do laundry so drivers are happy to me that’s called manipulation but for owners it’s a ripoff. Don’t come here or learn for yourself

Came in with a bad injector. I am a certified heavy truck master tech but currently a driver. Yesterday it took 7 hours for them to run a cutoff test and remove the air cleaner assembly and dog box. I am still sitting here today at 3 pm and have heard no word on the progress. Flat rate for the job is around 4 hours. They've had it for 2 days. There is absolutely no sense of urgency even though I am loaded with a load of new cars. I would recommend anyone that's serious about their equipment and doesn't like wasting time to avoid this location at all costs.

Avoid this place like the plague, especially if you are an owner operator like mmmmm yself. Went in with a def quality code, took them a day to get the part, then the took all day, said they had it fixed, and then they realized they didn't fix anything.I finally had to insist they just clear the codes and took it somewhere else.For all that, they charged me 3700, for no repair! Vast majority of it labor. They actually charged me 12 hours of labor for a 10 hour day! Absolutely a total rip off.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Not sure about the bad reviews but I've used this place all the time. Pure professionals. 3 hrs of labor for a tow and to take the oil pan off. Well I'm not sure what that guy is complaining about. I've been towed many times anywhere from 1 mile to 100+ miles. Even at there very shortest distance I have never been charged less then 3hrs. I'm a one man operation and this place treated me like I took 100 trucks there a year. Professional and very kind. I wouldn't have my engine work done anywhere else. And they even made a mistake one time but when I took the truck back and they looked at it they where very upfront. Didn't try to blame someone else or make excuses. They got right on it and fixed it. I've had dealers mess stuff up then try to blame me or make excuses. But not this place. In my book they're a class above the rest.

I used this shop twice for refer repairs and I must say they will get you in and out pretty quick. This last time my alternator went out. From the time I hit the lot until I left it took them a hour, will definitely be back.....

Penn tried to charge me $1000+ today for a roadside call and diagnostics on my truck. Within 30 minutes of showing up for the roadside call they told me the engine was probably blown and I needed to tow it to their shop. They tried to charge me 3 hours for that road-call. The truck arrived to their shop at 8pm (per my driver and the tow truck driver). They called me at 930pm to let me know they had removed the oil pan and found the main bolt spun and the engine needed to be rebuilt. I told them I would not rebuild my engine at their shop and to put the oil pan back and I would send someone to come get the truck. They tried to charge me 6 HOURS LABOR for that. Have you ever heard of such a thing? The mechanic had the oil pan removed and the problem diagnosed in an hour and a half so I'm still trying to figure out what they did for the other 5 hours? They could not tell me why it only took 1.5 hours to diagnose the problem (which they called "taking the truck apart") yet it took 5 hours to put it back together?In total they wanted to charge me 9 hours labor for those 2 things which was over $1,000. When I got upset (reasonably so) they dropped it to 6 hours labor. I was verbally quoted 2 hours diagnostics and never received a written estimate or agreed to 9 hours worth of labor for anything. I didn't even find out they were charging me 3 hours for the roadside call until I tried to pay my final bill today. I had no choice but to pay the bill because I had already sent my only other trucks bobtail from FL to PA to tow back the broken down truck and trailer and my drivers were sitting at their shop waiting to pick it up.Talk about someone taking advantage of a situation and kicking you when you're down. They told me we could come to an agreement on the bill otherwise my equipment would remain locked behind their gates. I told them I thought 5 hours was fair considering the roadside call was 30 minutes plus driving time and I had only agreed to 2 hours labor when it got to their shop but they wouldn't come down any less than 6 hours. Final bill was $839 for this. $839 to tell me my engine was blown!!!However, the guys who work there-Brian & Travis, were very helpful and patient and one of them gave my driver a ride to a hotel which really helped us out a lot. The lady in the office Etta was also very sweet but had to be the one to deliver the bad news unfortunately.

Our motorhome broke down on the PA Turnpike and we were towed there late on a Sunday night. I called the shop number and the answering service took my information.When I walked in the door at 7AM, my first impression of the place was that it was a very well organized and professional outfit. They have a clean and well stocked waiting room with magazines, coffee, water, & a complimentary washer and dryer for truckers.I was greeted by a very personable lady who checked me in. The shop had my information from the answering service so I didn’t have to go through my information twice. The manager, Lou, came out of the office to say hello and noticed that I was wearing my old Army fatigue jacket. I’m a vet. He thanked me for my service and told me that they would do their best to get me and the family back on the road as soon as possible. That really put me in a good frame of mind, considering the stressful experience of the previous day.Shane the mechanic did a great a job on my Newmar and had me on the road by the end of the day. He kept me in the loop as to what was happening throughout the process.Everyone I encountered there were friendly and helpful...one of the guys even asked if I needed a ride to grab lunch.We weren’t feeling very lucky when our rig broke down, but we really lucked out when we were towed to Penn Detroit Diesel!

Do not bring your CAT engine here. Although this shop advertises it fixes all makes including CAT, the fellas who work there are clueless on that one. They’ll bring you in and in a few hours will announce they don’t normally work on CAT ( no ECM diagrams in my case). So you will leave with useless guesses and a few hundred dollars of paper weight.

This shop is money hungry!!! My check engine light was on and I was in degrade mode, they came out to assist me, checked my codes and it said outlet nox sensor. I drove it to the shop and they fixed my inlet sensor and said that was the problem.. they charged me $1000 for a $ 450 part then once they were done my truck still was not working having the exact same issues..then they said oh maybe it’s a valve. I was tired of playing the guessing game with them at my expense so I paid 1500 then took it to another shop . The whole time it was the outlet sensor, exactly what the codes said it was smh ..Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I came in here for a coolant at the bottom of my engine Detroit 60 Series that is they repaired within a hour and fix my governer to my air compressor and the mechanic had advised me that I had air leak I will be returning for the service very knowledgeable mechanics and great customer service I will keep them in business it’s hard to find good shops in transportation industry nowadays

Very friendly and professional people. They are dog friendly. Have a washer and dryer for drivers to use. Will shuttle you to one of the local hotels. Nice big lot to drop trailer in if getting apu fixed. Easy to get to. You do have to go under a 13'6" bridge. Just go slow. Right turn onto webber road is kinda tight. But this place is awesome. Also service Detroit engines and allison transmissions. Also work on thermoking and rig master apus.
