Certain people who work here are very polite, but when it comes to management this store is failing. It seems like they put the most incompetent people in leadership positions and it shows when your in line one day and a manager can’t be found and it’s two people trying to run office and the register and visibly getting flustered. There shouldn’t be 6 people hiding in the office either especially when there’s lines to the back of the store. Produce is also half empty most the time and (what I’m assuming is the manager) is always vacuuming while the girls are running around him to get things done. It’s nice to see the deli getting more people but the manager back there is always complaining about how slow they are or how she doesn’t have enough people. The prices of things are ridiculous and you can tell that the hard workers are over worked and the others are the laziest and most incompetent. I will definitely not be shopping here anymore and I pray that this place is closed down. My business will be going to the grocery stores that actually run like they should. From what I’ve seen, I would not recommend working here or shopping here.

The personnel are very pleasant and helpful. The store offers a fabulous deli, roaster chicken, pastries, fresh vegetables, freeze foods and a meat section along with snacks, drinks, dairy products and more. It's an ideal place to do your grocery shopping or to get a few things when needed.I always find what I need when I go there.

I do shop here often. If the store is busy it can get crowded at the checkout lanes. The staff does try to help get you through the”log jam” quickly.Being in a pandemic created lower quality and higher prices for fresh produce and meat that has creeped into every grocery store I’ve been in…. Giant Eagle will continue to be a stop for me because they’ve done a pretty good job through this mess we were in.Be sure to check out the wonderful floral section for bouquets, cut flowers, and festive looking seasonal decorations. It’s worth checking out.I also want to highlight the wonderful bakery. The ladies here make incredible donuts. Their glazed donuts especially!I just had a birthday cake made here that was the best ever! The artistic vision of Dianne put it all together for me. Everyone marveled at the flavor andappearance at the birthday party! The Buttercream icing knocked it right out of the park . I highly recommend the bakery at this Giant Eagle.

The store is small and hard to navigate. There is no self checkout and never enough help at the checkout. The employees are friendly and the location is convenient for those of us who live in town.

It’s a bit smaller for a grocery store, but they do make the best of their space.

No organic foods, at least that I could find. The check out lady was also just miserable. Maybe she was having a bad day. IDK she's only got one job and that's to be nice. I won't return to this store.

What kind of company inflates the price of infant formula in the middle of a shortage? This one. I drove to six different stores trying to find my 6 month old sons formula. I was so relieved when I found two 33.2oz cans of Tippy Toes sensitivity premium formula at this store. Although this is not the normal brand we use, it was comparable. Giant Eagle had this off brand formula priced at $31.99. Every other store sells this brand for $26. Shame on this company for exploiting its most innocent patrons in a time of crisis. Also, it would be helpful if management stepped in and ran a register every once in a while. Lines are always wrapped around the aisles because theres only two registers open when everyone's getting off work and shopping for dinner around 5pm. Meanwhile, you've got 3-5 employess (including management) just bee bopping around. Step in and help!!!

Consistently high quality produce. Meat prices are pretty low, especially the 5-for-$25 deal. Great service.

I had a good experience at this location for my first time in a Giant Eagle. I felt that, while they did have a selection of items, I have seen much larger at other grocery markets. Customer service was good and everyone seemed friendly. Very tight space to maneuver, which would be my only real negative in rating. I would return but maybe at a less crowded time since I don't like being stuffed with other humans.

Our Bedford Giant Eagle is a small and humble store, which limits the selection of items available. But I still love shopping there because staff are so friendly and I enjoy the hometown feel. 😊

Super busy for the holiday season, but they were still quick in getting us out of there. The guy stocking chips smelled like cat pee and body odor but he wasn't an employee of GE so I won't hold it against them. Shelves were stocked and plenty of employees around offering services if needed. Quick checkout.

Clearly love violating people's rights and honoring the governer's edicts! Even though they are a "public business" requiring masks, though people have medical conditions, but yet first and foremost, free people, can not be required to wear anything in a public business. Will never shop there again and will discourage anyone to support their socialist b.s.. Hope they not only price themselves out of business, that they starve out and shutdown and bring their socialist/communist beliefs with them.

The Bedford store is lacking selection and prices are high enough and keep going up. Some polite cashier's and some nasty mean ones. I only go here when I don't wanna drive 20 or 30 minutes.

Store is much smaller than other Giant Eagle's. Despite this, they have an adequate product selection. They've begun to carry more organic products, which is a plus. Seafood selection is nearly non-existent, though. Overall, this is a decent store, for it's size.

The cashier was asked "How are you?" And she replied, "Can't wait to get out of here." Yes, we were second to last getting out of the store15 minutes before close. Unfortunately the only store to go to while traveling east another 2 hours away. If you don't like giving good customer service to all customers up to the minute you close, do the town of Bedford and travelers stumbling through, get an office job.The store looked well kept.

Very happy with produce dept. Could use things like fresh collards greens, turnip greens, to go along with the kale and other greens. Also wish the would stock Fresca.Would love to see nicer meats in meat dept. Nice thick cut bone in rib steak, porterhouse steaks and t bone steaks.Martha white flour, and corn bread mix and corn meal.I always find what I want and would really enjoy Giant Eagle more if you could get these things

The store is dimly lit and looks dirty. The produce is hardly ever stored correctly. The deli only sells presliced cheese. Save yourself some time and go to a better grocery store.

While on vacation we shopped here and my wife left her wallet here and it was returned to us 2 days later with everything in tack. She didn't realize it was missing until she got a phone call. They found her bank card and contacted the bank and the bank contacted her. Incredible story here!

Little pricey but quality of food is good. Haven't run into any expired goods. If based just on groceries alone I'd say 4 stars.Only dinging an additional star off because pharmacy. They ran wrong insurance (one I had years ago). They said they had my insurance already when my fiance asked if they needed my new insurance card and overcharged me (no clue how old insurance I no longer even had went through to begin with). I had some antibiotics from dentist to hold me over incase my prescription could not be filled immediately and so the next day when I went to open the antibiotics from giant eagle I noticed bottle seemed too low so counted pills. They shorted me 10 antibiotic pills and when contacted they insisted count was right on their end. Bottle says 38 and was given 28. I can do the math. They did offer to let me have the rest of my pills at no charge (gee thanks) but made me feel like I was being accused of theft. Can't exactly rip open the envelope and pop open the bottle and count them at the desk. Did get the rest of my pills and they corrected the insurance along with giving refund but both should not have happened to begin with. I just had all my upper teeth pulled. I shouldn't have to be arguing over how many antibiotics I should have been given and pharmacists should be sure they have the right insurance prior to processing it. Every other place I go to asks prior to filling if I still have so and so insurance. They also have wrong address listed for me as well. That horrible situation aside though the grocery section is pretty good and the deli while pricey is delicious. I'll still go for groceries but after getting my refills I'm done with the pharmacy.
