There are few places in this world that still have the customer service that this camp ground offer. Dave goes above and beyond every day to insure his guest have everything they need. He also has a wealth of the knowledge of the area and is always willing to help you plan your day and give very good directions. The other campers are also very friendly and willing to help doesn't matter if you are a permanent site or a weekend camper. I highly recommend this campground and will be back many times.

Coming into the campground Dave, the owner, was very welcoming and directed us to our cabin, making us feel like part of the family. The cabin was roomy and it had all the amenities you’d expect (microwave, fridge, TV, AC). The cabin and the bathhouse were very clean and the staff that we met was friendly as well. We highly enjoyed the outdoor canopy area attached to the cabin, as it did rain one of the days, but we could have family and friends sitting outside at the picnic tables and still enjoy the outdoors. Everyone we encountered was kind and we even joined in on a game of corn hole and ladder golf with some of the other campers. Greatly appreciated that we could take our dog with us as well since there are nice wooded trails for all to enjoy. We had a great trip and will definitely return again!

Loved it here!! Tent camped for a weekend and had a great experience. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and neighborly and the campground staff made sure we had everything we needed. Bathrooms were extremely clean and the showers were hot. At night the grounds are very quiet and you get a great view of the stars. Thank you for all of the hospitality and a great stay!!!

I spent 2 nights in one of the cabins on the campground. The cabin has everything you need (microwave, mini fridge/freezer, AC, TV, and an electric fireplace), and the bathhouse was kept very clean. It was great to be able to bring the dogs along as well. Everyone was very friendly and it was an overall very enjoyable experience.

This place is amazing place.. my first time camping.. with my five children.. they're still talking about it.The best experience. Dave made it wonderful. my kids have never been fishing. Dave made arrangement for it to happen for them.. great activities to do. Everybody is so friendly.. bathrooms were really clean. I definitely would recommend anyone that has children it's a great place. We will be back! Thank you for everything Dave! 😁

I'm giving it a two star, The roads were rough to get back to the campground, The one shower did not work, The one bathroom door did not stay shut, it just hung open until used which made it an inconvenience bathroom area to get back to the shower cuz you had to keep closing that door, My mom got overcharged for having dogs there, We spoke to another person on the campground and they said they're being overcharged for a personal reason I'm not going to list here. The second day I was there a dog barked for several hours until I messaged the owner of the park and he said that he was reaching out to the owner. Dogs are not allowed to bark more than a couple of times we were told or we would be asked to leave the campground. The cabins are extremely nice, The staff was pleasant, The pool was way over chlorinated every time we breathed in it would burn our throats, other than the pool there was really nothing for the adults to do other than a cornhole tournament and bingo. I don't know if cornhole and bingo are something they do everyday or what the deal is there. Kids were out yelling and screaming past quiet time. The stones that they have laying throughout the park are extremely sharp and pointy they cut through my sandals and jabbed me in the feet several times. The shower mats that you stand on are extremely hurtful on the feet. Being ripped off, dogs barking which is against the campground rules, kids yelling late at night, pointy stones jabbing your feet I can't give this campground more than a two-star rating. We had two pups there with us over the weekend and they both ended up sick. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this campground.

When we got there the owner Dave made us feel great. It's such a pleasure being there. Was nice to relax and hike, swim. The seasonal campers are also very friendly. Made new friends up there. Will definitely recommend and go back. There just 1 tiney thing, wish there was a game room for my teen's girls but otherwise excellent place.

The owner was very nice to us and made our stay a very enjoyable and entertaining one. I would recommend this campground to everyone and we are going back there in two weeks. The bathrooms are very nice and the showers are even better. And the prices are even reasonable also.

bathrooms and campgrounds are meticulously well kept. The bathroom is newer and extremely nice for a campground. We stayed in the granny cabin with our dogs for a week. We had absolutely no issues. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a lot of activities within an hour of the campground.

We stopped here last month to get a cabin for the night while on our way to NC. Our cabin was clean and had a ceiling fan and a/c. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Thank you Dave for your hospitality and letting us arrive a bit late! Very nice campground you have there!!

We went camping there last weekend. I thought pulling into the campground..where are we going. When we got back there it is very nice clean bathrooms and very nice pool.The owner pretty much does it all! He is so nice and when we were on our way out he was there at the office thanking us for coming...you don't get that to often. It is very peaceful back there and would deffintitly go back!

We enjoy going to shady brook campground. The cabin is very nice and the bathroom facilities are nice and clean. The grounds could use some sprucing up. The cabins are a home away from home. I am from the area and when we come home, it is a great place to stay. Everyone is very friendly.

Very clean! Many seasonal sites. Campground was quiet at night. A variety of activities. Quite a few families but smaller kids were well supervised. Nice sized pool! Not huge and not crowded. Easy access to my site. I plan to come back!

A great place to get away from it all and go camping. We are a family of four and use a 30 foot travel trailer for camping. Easy in, easy out. Sites are large, shaded, level and reasonably priced. There is a large swimming pool and playground in the center of the campground. It's central location makes keeping an eye on your children easy. Weekends at the campground offer a variety of events from food, church service, bingo, children's events, etc. The owner of the campground is always around offering and willing to help out with just about anything. He put his heart and soul into this campground and it shows. We'll be visiting this campground again this year. Maybe we'll see you there.

For those who love camping, this is a wonderful place. Dave and his volunteers are wonderful. The campgrounds are always kept clean, the bath house is very clean, and the people are wonderful. They treat everyone like family. For those first time campers, you are in for a treat.

Spending my first full season here and loving every minute of it. There is plenty of activities and event weekends to keep the little ones active and a few things for the grown ups as well. Dave the owner does a great job filling up the schedule to keep the activities and special things rotating and new. I urge everyone to not just take my word for it and stop by. When I first met Dave he told me to go ahead and ask anyone in the campground about it. That proved to me his actions and the operation of the campground speaks for itself. Halfway into this camping season I know this was a great choice for me and my daughter.

We had a great time at Shadybrook. Dave was so helpful, he made sure we had all we needed and the events for the kids are awesome. Thank you Dave, all the guys that helped with the blue bird houses and everyone that cleaned and sanitized everything every couple of hours to make sure we all stayed safe.

What a great place to camp! We recently had a family reunion here. The owner went out of his way to accomodate us. It is a kid friendly place with activities for kids. There is a nice playground and a pool. We had a wonderful time!

Family stays here for spring and summer.its a nice place. Very family orientated There is a pool and the cabins are nice and clean. Just wish they had bathrooms in the cabins. I'm not a camper or a big fan of community baths. If you are..this is a great place.

We Rented a cabin but would be perfect for tenting as well! VERY CLEAN bathroom, Nice Shower! A pool and a great size playground for the kids!! The owner is very friendly and checked in with us often!!!

BYO camper, RV, tent, or rent a cabin! Inground pool that is swim at your own risk, full bath house including showers, hiking chairs, camp store, and a pond somewhere! Great for retired folks, and families. Very peaceful and quiet. Quiet time 10 PM to 8 am.

This place is very clean also u can b any age gave a disability and it's perfect they have handicap showers,bathrooms ect. Also u r never bored tons of activities every weekend. Kids will love it the ppl r friendly prices r great and it's near a lot of places. Will go back to this place a lot
