The Store Manager was fired by Shop n Save for stealing from Shop n Save and they rehired her to run this store out of desperation. Shop n Save as a whole are sellouts to Giant Eagle in Kennedy Twp when they laid off employees of over 30-40+ years to lease it to Giant Eagle for 10 years. I don’t how people still shop here with their overpriced tiny packages and tremendous amount of out of dates on the shelf.

Received a flyer in my mailbox at 1:24pm on 1/18/2024 for "legendary 3 day sale" and one of the items featured was Northern fisheries Pacific cod fillets sold in a 5 lb box.I was at the store by 2:05pm and looking in the seafood freezer and then any freezer I could find in the store, but could not find the item.I asked a young man that worked there and his reply was "the meat guy already left". So, I asked him to get me a manager.He did walk away for a bit and when he came back he said, "the manager just left for the day". My reply was "so, what's a customer to do"? He shrugged his shoulders and walked away!This USED to be a great store to shop at. Ever since St. Barnabas took over, the prices have skyrocketed and the help in the grocery store sucks! This is NOT the first time this has happened there.

I would like to complement this store on their employees and cleanliness. I have never walked into a grocery store, where the employee was cleaning the produce coolers with a bucket, rag and knife. (She was cleaning the grooves of the cooler with a knife). The cashiers are always pleasantlyfriendly and go out of their way to be nice.

Your store and employees are still awesome after the nearly 4 years since you re-opened after St. Barnabas bought you In these difficult and really crazy times that even our country is going through now, it is nice to see employers wearing crosses and treating their customers with kindness and respect. Keep the good work up Shop-N-Save, and God bless.P.S. I am not an expert on the economy, but one more great thing I will say about the entire plaza is in my humble opinion you have smart buisnes people running all of your stores simply because everyone of your stores including the Chinese takeout place and Tusca Pizzeria having amazingly friendly employees. Me and my friend and his wife I am sure were pretty amazed of how packed Tusca Pizzeria was. We can certainly use more smart small business people in Harrisburg and Washington D.C. as well. I've definitely had some very unfriendly service and some staff seem more interested in socializing with each other than serving customers. The prices are high so I use this store only for quick last minute visits.

Good clean store. The deli section has a great crew that demonstrates good technique for meat portions. Well worth your money if buying poultry or other meats.

Stephanie in the bakery saved my cake emergency! She decorated a small cake for my son's first birthday pictures within minutes! I was so grateful! She was super sweet and caring. 😊

All the employees are so nice and helpful. It is not like that anywhere else that I have been. I just hope the Shop NSave managers know this and treat them really good.

A fantastic small grocery store that has all of the essentials and more. The store is very clean and well maintained. This is one of the main places I go to do my shopping. I love that I can get everything I need without having to walk miles around a giant store to do it. They have a wine and spirits section too.

A store with a more "at home" feel. The atmosphere is perfect and the employees are so sweet and kind. It has an inviting feel with the color schemes being on the warmer neutral. This is much better than being harassed by LED'S white lights, and cold and harsh environments found at other large stores (varying). Personally, they seem to have very good pricing as well as very bad pricing. I usually go to make quick trips with only a few purchases, otherwise the prices will quickly add up. They add up significantly more than other places from MY EXPERIENCE. The prices are inconsistent. You should at least give it a try, it's a welcoming environment.

Extremely friendly! It’s very nice and clean and they have nice flowers and prepared foods. Lots of lunch meat and cheese options. Good wine and beer section as well they change it up and get new things in all the time. The staff seems really happy which is good makes me feel like this is a good business.

This Shop N Save location has many amenities that are uncommon in my experience for Shop N Saves.Primarily, there is a gas station in the parking lot with more than reasonable prices. There is also a hot food bar, coffee bar and beer and wine all in this location.Prices seem on par with other locations provided you have the loyalty card that every store has nowadays.There are also some locations attached to this Shop N Save with some extra options for your outing.

Apparently they don’t sell beer on Sundays now? Was just there abit ago and the tall girl there said they don’t do it on Sundays. Which is odd cause Ive never had an issue with it on Sundays.UPDATE: I guess the issue is resolved as I’ve been able to get alcohol there on weekends.

To begin with I am a former cook at this store, but this place has seriously took a turn downhill since I first started. I loved cooking, but this place has made me resent any food service. The store management is toxic and does NOT care about its workers nor does it care about the customers. My coworker got chicken from there the other day, and it smelled like old fish. I loved this place when I first started, and it was honestly a great place to be, but store management was piss poor. Theres been about 15 or more people who have walked out because of the store manager and I don't think that number will stop. I'm not sure how long this place will be open for, but if things continue the way they do with people leaving and not being replaced, I don't think it will be open for much longer. Theres so much more to talk about, but theres too much to even list. I hate to say it, but this place is seriously TOXIC.

Small grocery, when compared to Walmart, but they still carry a lot of things. A year or so ago they added a second area (took over a neighboring store) to add a beer cave. I, personally would have preferred more food selections, since I don't drink, but I understand they probably make a lot more selling booze than groceries... A great -nephew works there, so it's helpful to high school kids to begin earning some cash. Their fuel perks help with the cost of gas. Certainly glad to have a grocery store so close to home.Update: 9-23 - Still the same grocery store with the high school kids working while on summer break. They still have good produce and a plethora of grocery items. Glad to have this store here so close!! Saved having to spend time and money running to Monaca or Chippewa Wal-Mart!

It was a nice clean store. They had a decent selection of beers. They had wines, too, if I remember correctly. I didn't come there for that. Otherwise it's just a typical small town grocery store.

This "NEW" .. Shop 'N' Save seems great so far ! It opened in December, with new management, and completely renovated its a great place to stop on your way home from work or you need to run out to get something. The prices are good, obviously Walmart and others are going to be a bit cheaper but it's such a nice , clean store and not crazy busy like others I don't mind paying an extra few cents to be able to shop in a clean relaxing normal environment !

Poorly stocked shelves. Especially on sale items. Even on the first day of the sale. They have the rudest workers that I have ever seen. Please hire some experienced, cordial workers and I may return some day.

You will get things at this Shop N Save that you won't find at another Shop N Save. I love the selection of hot prepared foods at the deli, and the prices are low! A delicious burger at less than $2! A full meal for one for less than $7! The store offers products from Safran's, and their food is always good. I'm loving the KozyShack puddings. This is the only place I can find them.

Poor management, old women In the back is a hag. They sell bad meat, have had to throw in trash, the deli lady don’t know what she’s doing, she’ll put away boxes and never stop and help the people at the counter when it gets busy, how ignorant. The whole shopping experience is sad, it feels as if nobody wants to work there, it’s quiet and empty, and deserve a p**s poor rating.

Super convenient and close to my house. Pretty good hot foods department and tasty large selection in the bakery department. Some items are out of stock but I can usually find the essentials. They are a little more expensive but save you time going to Walmart or Giant eagle especially if you just need a few things on your way home from work, or in a pinch.

Horrible customer service! The troll at the deli counter is especially unpleasant. The kids that work there are much more mature and friendly than the adult employees. God forbid you have to return any of their poor quality products and deal with that. It was almost better not having a grocery store at all, lol.

Very nice newly renovated store. Friendly employees. Good prices. Deli and hot foods amazing.My only complaint is terrible produce but old store that was a shop and save and Rochester store their produce was terrible too. Best produce is Giant Eagle.

Honesty done buying meat from this store. Sale by dates mean nothing when your shoping here. Chicken, pork and the ground meat have been bad way before the sale by date. I'm not sure what is going on but I'm tired of wasting money.
