Nice in there, but sometimes there are very rude customers talking down to the employees. They are short staffed and are doing their best to get items out, it doesn't hurt to be kind to others.

Excellent people working at this Dollar General. Wide variety of things you need and want for your household or just for a weekend get away. Everything is clearly marked so there's no guess work with prices or where to find the things you need. Sam the manager is fantastic. Very knowledgeable as far as the items that are sold in her store.

VERY CLEAN, NEAT, PRICES MARKED CLEARLY-(Both sale & non-sale). Most items available on shelves.They have what you want and prices are as advertised.Wishing the Staff a better 2021...! Work Conditions and Morality at most businesses has been affected by the virus, and just having to work and adjust to wearing these masks and face shields has caused anxiety for many, that were never bothered by such. Wishing you all a better new year to come..!

The Prices are not all one dollar; that's Dollar Tree but prices are reason to stop at The General as well as convenient location and no competition. Items are in stock one day then gone. Staff is friendly and helpful so you have good price and convenience serviced by good working men and women.

Very convenient place to stop if you need something. Prices aren't bad either, though some stuff like groceries are much cheaper if you head into Honesdale. Employees are usually quite friendly but the place seems to be constantly under staffed. You usually have to ring a literal bell to get checked out

This Place is great, when you don't have especially two very mean workers that are Always smoking outside, everytime we go there you see the same two women outside smoking. The one women's name was Glenda, and she is always so unfriendly, she makes you not want to spend your money here. The other women who is always on her cell phone texting is suppose to be the assistant manager, Ilene is also always outside smoking, if there's a customer, she will, make you wait until she is done smoking! She even says to us The customers you got to wait until I'm done with my cigarette. The Store manager Tina pretends to care when severa,customers tell her the same exact thing. That Glenda is rude and is outside allrhe time smoking. That Ilene is always outside smoking and always on her cell phone. Together store manager is just as bad she is always laughing at customers with the Ast. Manager Ilene. It's sad really and Ilene and Tina says there's nothing that we the customers say because The District Manager Jessica is Tina's best friend and that the District Manager will never get rid of Tina,so report all you want. This is so Sad, these two workers are not good for business, that they do not care about the customers,they are very rude, that they make you wait while, they smoke and/ or finish talking to each other or on their phone. This Place needs a new staff If the Store manger isn't going to change then the Ast. Manager or anything about these two other mangers that are always losing Dollar General money. Then Corporate needs to view what All of us are really going through and what is truly going on at this store, why is it that these 3 employees are the only ones that ate not being changed, yet you see other new employees constantly over a short period of time.... It's because there's more going on, it,doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what us going on here. There were two great workers that are no longer here. Now there are 3 very polite workers here, The one young lady Sarah, the other young lady Sally. These 2 young women go way beyond their jobs t o make sure the customers are always greeted as soon as they walk in the store and go above and beyond to make sure Customers are satisfied no matter what. The last worker out of the 3 hardest, customer friendly, always working to make the customers feel warm and welcomed, is the gentlemen that works here. Tom is a great worker and is always working, just like , the other two young lady's, Sarah and Sally. When we go shopping we don't want to come in to hear gossip, and personal business from the management. There was a great worker named Barb, yet they get rid of Barb, and Keep Glenda, Ilene, and the store manager Tina that always let's this continue. It seems like they always need someone to blame everything on that they are doing wrong. Why else do you see only the same stuff always new ppl to blame stuff on, when shopping the other day. We saw another new employee, when name from the other staff member her manager she said it was Debb or Debra, then when we saw her name tag it says Krissy. So we asked the manager that said her name was different from what her name tag said. We were told that oh her Real name is Debra, but she says she has to be called Krissy. the manger even said there is a reason she doesn't want anyone to know her Real name, so we have to call her Krissy.There is something funny going on with this store, it seems like if you are not the 3 managers that get away with whatever they want, that you won't have a job Here for very long, all others that wouldn't put up with this aren't here. Corporate needs to fix this store and change the Staff around. If they keep the same 3 people and ate getting new employees yet are still having the same exact problems, with the same mangers, this is just going to,keep happening. Why are these 3 managers getting paid Alot more then the other 3 employees, when those 3 employees are going above and beyond every single time. Tom, Sarah, Barb, and Sally deserve recognition for all their hard work.
