I am so done shopping here. Every single time I have visited this store the quality of food that we buy is not what it should be. This times it’s a box of fudge pops completely destroyed and then what seems to be refrozen and put out for stock for 5 dollars a box. We live very close to the store so it’s not like we waited too long to freeze them. And all strawberries that were in stock were so rotten and gross.. I chose the only package that looked somewhat fresh only to find half of them still rotten. So that’s about 10 dollars worth of food that had to go to the trash. And I don’t have my receipt anymore so of course I can’t get my money back.

Eggs looked fine. But several had small leak. I cracked the intact eggs only to see they were discolored inside. Probably rotted. Yuck.

Had to go in and get one thing quick and someone came to the door and locked it when they seen me pull in 8 minutes before they are supposed to close

So disappointing. Manager literally saw me pull up and rushed over to lock the door 7 minutes before closing time. All I needed was Nyquil. Now I've got to go to CVS unnecessarily. Pathetic

This is My hometown market. People are friendly, shelves are always well stocked, often times they have stuff that big box grocery stores don't have. Because it's a hometown store prices are a little higher than the big box grocery stores. But by the time you spend the money on gas getting to the Big box store, you might just as well spend the money locally.

I love paying 20 dollars for a rack of a ribs only to have the person behind the counter manhandle them sliding them across the scan stations bending them completely in half , breaking them apart. Watching you aimlessly destroy my food upon purchase was absolutely infuriating .Drop the attitude and pay attention lady.

This was my first visit to pick up a few things, because I was in the area. This is a well stocked neighborhood grocery store. All departments (meat, produce, dairy, canned goods, etc.) offer a good selection and fair prices. Next time I am in the area, I will make this the place to stop and shop.

An older store with a small-town feel. Prices are high on most things, but they have frequent sales which help offset the markup. They obviously can't compete with large corporate stores, so this is to be expected.I like to support smaller, locally owned businesses whenever possible. I can't afford to do all my regular shopping there though. Also, they don't have all the things I need. But I do go there whenever I just need to get a few things or something specific that's on sale.My #1 complaint is the poor bagging skills of many of the cashiers. Some are fine, but there's a lot of them that just toss stuff randomly in the bags, make them too heavy, etc. This is an issue at a lot of stores, but it's a bigger deal at Ahart's because you don't have the option of self checkout. I really wish they would spend some time training their employees on how to bag groceries appropriately.

I have to say Aharts carries a lot of products that most stores do not. Great people and very dedicated long time employees.I use to work there and I am still giving them a five star for cleaness, and friendly, and positive dedicated employees.

Nice small town store. Good meat and produce section and lunch meat is more reasonable that other big chain supermarkets! I don't shop there for everything but it's good for a quick stop. Friendly staff as well ☺️

Small outdated store, it definitely shows its age. Only positive point is it’s not crowded and you can get in and out. Funny how they lock their garbage with a padlock, I’m assuming so people don’t throw garbage in it because who wants their garbage. Very entertaining to watch maintenance come out every hour with one bag of garbage, unlock the dumpster and deliberately make sure it’s relocked before heading back inside only to repeat the process an hour later. Very bizarre. Secondly I’m not sure what else he does besides his hourly garbage run considering the aisle floors which desperately need a sweeping and waxing and be warned if you need to use the restroom. Gas station bathrooms are starting to look immaculate in comparison and I’m not talking about the chain ones that are inside. They serve the purpose but I think I’d rather go outside someplace which at night plenty of people stop and run behind the dumpster to relieve themselves and quickly leave without even a thought to making a purchase. Strange little place.

Great meats to choose from and great sales the bakery Dept is the best the deli Dept all top notch. The produce dept is all The same way freshest produce. I was there 2 days ago and purchased some groceries. One being a gallon of milk and another were Italian rolls by Meyers in front of the Deli. The milk went bad in 2 days and my favorite!!! I went to make a sandwich and opened a roll to find what look like a very tiny worm in the bread it was moving!! I called voiced a complaint and also said I will never shop there again and will pass this information to many so no one else runs into this. Horrible customer service to boot. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE FOR ANYTHING!!!

A great mid size market. You can't expect it to have obscure ingredients here due to its size but you'll always find the staples. It's also much less crowded than a standard market and help is never hard to find. And the help is always friendly and personable. I find it perfect for running in to grab a few items that I may need that day or that I have have forgotten at another store. I know I can get in or out very quickly.

I like Aharts it's a cute supermarket. Easy in easy out. Great lunch meat prices. Great selection on fish and meats are top quality. They are very expensive on paper goods and other esstenials. But I never shop at one store. I don't make special trips to markets but hit them during my normal travels.

Few weeks ago I went to the supermarket Ahart's Market - Bath, PA in Central Bath and I got and large Olive oil. For my surprise it expire since last April. I didn't have my receipt and they refuse to exchange or give my money back. I said would had never need my receipt if they would not be selling expire products. And on top of that they have the nerves of trying to start an argument with me. For everyone be aware they are selling old stuff to their customers.

This place is a teleport to the 80s. The produce is a problem, multiple times I have seen rotting food with price tags. With that said, the store is always clean, the staff is always nice. If they could get the produce under control, this would be a cute little place.

You have to be really careful to check the dates on most items, canned, boxed etc. The meat is often bad. I've had to throw it out on more than one occasion. I've encountered extremely rude cashiers, and really nice ones.

I love this store so much. Large enough to have everything I need to cook a meal on the fly or that I planned ahead. Small enough to make it feel very cozy.

The place has a very weird vibe...staff are OK though sometimes seem like they're in another dimension and you need to summon then back to Earth....Can't speak to price as I'm not the primary grocery buyer, for our family is just as place you run into for a couple quick items.
