I want to give a shout out to pen argyl pa dollar general for one of the best employees of any store I met today that worked there, his name was Jorge and was wonderful. Not only did he rush over to open the door for me, he was pleasant and personable. He offered the girl in front of me to carry her stuff to her car it was bulky and heavy. The girl said it was ok she could carry it out and he actually told me he felt bad that he couldn’t help her because of how bad the weather was. I was short on my money and I was asking him to take off something. He refused and took it out if his pay. He said merry Christmas and paid it. He is a young guy with a Heart of gold that deserves recognition and made what has been a very depressing month due to my son being in a coma after a seizure and going into cardiac arrest. Jorge made me smile. What a wonderful kid with a great positive energy.

Very well stocked store. The staff is friendly, always knows if they have the items I need, and where to find them. Good selection of items from balloons, to greeting cards to food and grocery items, toys, cleaning products, and kitchen and seasonal specials. Always great prices, better than grocery stores. I shop there 3 times a week.

Sometimes there are newly delivered orders blocking aisles and I have to move them out of my way or go completely around them. Plus, they are out of some of the things I intentionally go there to buy. Management should pay closer attention to their outs/low stocked items.Other than that, the store is clean and the workers are friendly.

Had everything I went in for. Pleasant staff, but they looked like they could use extra staff. Lots of boxes to empty and stock shelf for small staff.

I love this place. Very friendly and helpful staff. It carries lots of different things I've never seen before as well as a large amount of food to buy.

Don't bother going there the picture are fake they got them off the internet and very over priced when you can go crossed the street and get the same thing at dollar tree or family dollar cheaper

Great deals decent items everyone should shop there at least once in their life could be a little more organized at this location though feels like I just walked into my 6 year olds bedroom trying to finagle through the isles as I would through my child's room with toys everywhere lol it's a little tight there and small with a lot of items to buy but they are placed strangely like they are almost all in your way especially when there is other people in the store with you trying to shop lol other than that nice place

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Place is clean and organized. Check out is sometimes slow but that is expected when there are usually only 2 employees working

Dollar General is one of my go to spots for cheaper cleaning products, bath, pharmaceutical, and sometimes housewares. I always get the same products as the bigger stores but for much less and they take coupons too! You can't beat it!

Although, Dollar General is a little pricey; their sales are pretty good. Quick and easy pickins! Great selections to choose from.

Staff was very pleasant, however they had some misleading price flags up, so you think your getting a bargain, then you read the really small print that informs you that you have to have a digital coupon.

This store in Bangor pen argyl pa. is an accident waiting to happen. Step stools, ladders, boxes clutter isle after isle. Poor lighting, understaffed.
