The place was spotless and everything worked! The lake is right across the street for fishing. Lots of roads to travel and things to see in the area. Benezette isn't far and crawling with elk. Having a convenience store on site is a big plus.

Was recommended to this place for the large cheap ice cream and we were not disappointed. The ice cream is Perry's and the had sixteen different flavors.

My wife Linda and I enjoyed our stay at the campground. Did a lot of sightseeing in the area. Got to see a couple of bear and lots of deer. Caught some fish and ate like kings and queens. A much needed brake from chemotherapy and visiting doctors for the passed few months! The camp host, Megan, was a joy to hang out with along with Sarge and Ringo , her 2 German shepherds! Over all just a nice and quiet place to relax, no phone service was extra special!

We stayed there in October, the weekend the establishment changed owners. The new owners are very nice, as were the previous owners. Rates are reasonable (hoping they stay that way). Cabins are clean and secure. Bath facility is fresh, warm, and clean.Hoping they open up to winter stays as we love the area and it is hard to find a (decent) place to stay in the area in the winter.

I stayed here during my elk hunt and loved everything about being at the campground. The owners were very kind and very friendly. Rates seemed appropriate. This is a gem of a campground and will not disappoint. I can't wait to come back and bring my wife and kids to enjoy God's Country in PA. What a treat we have in PA to have a fantastic herd of elk to view anytime we want.

The cabins we were in was nice. It had everything you needed. We got space but felt too close to our one neighbor. Everything is close near this site. The lake, 40 maples, etc. are all near. Overall, okay. Would come again.

Cabin number three is the best.I just don't understand why they won't spend some money and put TV's in the place. A small one down stairs a normal nice one upstairs where all the beds are.Shouldn't be that hard.The place was clean.

We stayed here this past weekend, lovely campground, the bear was awesome!!! Nice cabins, no cell phone or internet service, just a FYI! But super place to stay and lots to see in the area.

This is a great place to visit. You can hike, fish, hunt and just kick back and drink a beer. Great get away. Relax and enjoy.

This place is owned and ran by a wonderful couple that will make sure your stay is the best. They have some cabins with running water and some without. Great place to stay and see the PA Wilds
