Everyone is very helpful, especially Donny he was nice enough to call another Petco to help us find more baby bettas for our Sorority Betta tank. Donny deserves a raise! Or at least a pizza party.

I always enjoy shopping at Petco. I love the wide variety of aquatic plants and fish they offer. I hope they will consider having a store in East Stroudsburg.

I love this store, the staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I gave a 4 star instead of 5 though because twice now I've had a TERRIBLE experience with the grooming department. One worker in particular is rude and always seems annoyed the minute you walk in, like you're inconveniencing her by being there. She's also told me twice that my dog was difficult and bit her "constantly" while she was trying to groom him, though when other people have groomed him at that location and other petcos they've never had a problem with him biting once. The most recent time she washed him but refused to groom him due to his "biting" and called me to pick him up and then told me I wasn't ever allowed to bring him back. I wouldn't go back to her specially if it was free! She is awful for business!

Awesome I wasn't exactly sure on the medication to get for my sick koi who's been on the verge of death for 2 weeks now and the lady helped me out and within 24 hours hes back to normal and swimming around happy again. They saved all three of my fishes lives

If I can give a 0 stars I would. My husband and I just left Petco at 3895 Dryland way 8/18/23 1:14PM. My husband kindly asked Alexander knew where an item was and he gave so much attitude and just told him is in the back. I’m a vital care member for both of my dogs. I did not know how to apply my coupons and he gave so much attitude showing me, as if it’s not his job to assist with ringing someone up. As I was leaving he apologized to the person behind me as if I was wasting so much time, when I wasn’t on his line for more then 3 minutes. Worse experience ever. I don’t know if he’s racist or just had a bad day, all I know is he shouldn’t be the face that represents Petco as people are leaving. And I go to MANY Petco locations in Allentown PA, Newton NJ, and in NYC. And never had an experience like this.

This is a great pet store to get everything you need for the furry & not so furry family members. They have 2 very special birds at this location that will talk to you & even dance with you. I hope they both find wonderful homes because they were very fun to talk & dance with....

Stopped in with my dog to get her old harness adjusted. Laura one of the managers was very helpful took time with me to get a new color, leash and harness and everything I needed for her. Laura went above and beyond her duties today to help me getting what I needed

Like the store but wished it had more variety on animal food in my case I hadn't trouble getting my dog food but for our cat and our hamster there wasn't many options. Despite of that love the fact that they have animals for adoption in-store

Horrible attitude at grooming department(provided by Heather)! Walked in 10 minutes before my appointment and got kicked out by saying (while on the phone): "I'm on my break, you can go walk around the store".

It's a toss up between Petco and PetSmart in the area but I like both about medium.It really depends how much you're looking for and who might be there as far as product knowledge.

I had a very great experience at Petco today. Being the holidays and all, Paul really helped me out dealing with a XXL dog crate that I bought. He helped me even though he was about to go on his lunch break, so he sacrificed his time to help me. I will always love Petco because of their nice hospitality and amazing customer service. Thank you so much Paul and I hope you have a great holiday!

I never write reviews and certainly DO NOT take the time to write negative reviews. However, while shopping in this store yesterday, I witnessed a disgraceful customer service experience. A young woman came into the store to drop off her pup for grooming services. The woman was CLEARLY apologetic and frazzled as she entered the store, with her baby, her other son (@ 9-11) and her pup - She was running a couple minutes late and was apologizing profusely. The way the groomer (Heather) spoke to this young woman, and treated her, was horrible. And, in front of her children, no less. Her attitude towards this customer was off-the-charts rude! I honestly would not have left my dog with her, however, I did overhear the woman mention to her son that they had another appointment to get to. There was no reason to treat this woman this way, especially in front of her children. I ended up leaving without purchasing what I went in for. I'm simply not going to support businesses, especially chains, that don't offer respect and compassion to their customers. I would definitely not utilize the grooming services here, with this particular groomer. I would not trust my beloved pup being left here, based on what I just witnessed. Perhaps this store would benefit from some customer service training?

Great selection of fish here! Big store and the customer service from the young man that took care of me was exceptional! I wish I would've gotten his name. Either way I was very happy 😊 with my service this day.

I went here to buy fish for my daughter. All of the employees were just hanging out by the register. I looked at tank after tank of dead fish floating around. I’m not talking about one or two fish. DOZENS of fish. Some tanks had up to 10 dead fish in them. These tanks have not been checked for days. STAY AWAY.

Scheduled an appt for a grooming for my pet, for a day that i knew i had off and a time i knew i would be available. Only to get there and be told i wasnt in til the following week. When i mentioned that i had scheduled for that day the day i went in because i knew id be available the girl responded back by saying “well maybe you should keep better track of your appointments when you schedule them next time” if i didnt have my animal with me, and someone waiting in the car for me to come back out, id have brought her manager right to her Karen style and ask her to repeat what she had just said to me in front of her manager. But i didnt have time, so i went elsewhere and had a wonderful experience with friendly, helpful staff. Hopefully miss attitude problem got her face fixed, or found a new job because clearly customer service isnt for her.

DO NOT GET GROOMING SERVICES HERE! Especially if "PAM B" is the stylist. She has no business caring for a rock let alone someone's beloved pet. I should have turned around and walked out as soon as I walked in, the vibe she gave was "you're bothering me right now, do I really have to do something?!"

It's a good store genuinely. The staff there were nice and helpful, I've been going there for years now and deserve the prosperity as far as I see it.They include barber for dogs, normal store items like food, etc. And training for your pets.

Received a $45 nail trimmer as a gift. The product was terrible so I brought it back two days later. They verified the purchase under my phone number but refused to refund it (not on my credit card so I get it), but NO store credit either? Terrible customer service from the Associate and they refused to get a Manager for me.

Recently moved to the area and scheduled an appointment at the Lower Nazareth Petco to get my pup's nails clipped. Arrived with the rabies paperwork asked for, but was turned away after being told they have a policy against grooming dogs with Trazadone in their system. My dog has separation anxiety and takes Trazadone daily as prescribed by the vet. Very frustrating as this Petco policy wasn't listed on the website or mentioned before the appointment in any way, and also doesn't make any sense! Why would you have a policy against a mild sedative that vets prescribe to calm dogs down in stressful situations - like grooming is for some?? And moreover, why would you have a policy restricting what animals you will groom, but not inform your customers of this?? I've had only positive experienced with Petco in the past, but if I had known this was the case I wouldn't have scheduled the appointment in the first place - and now I'll be finding somewhere else to take my dog.

Store is starting to become very unpleasant to go to. I guess they are under new management. Their new manager, does not seem to have experience of running a store nor the knowledge or professionalism of being a manager. He is very disrespectful to the store associates. He addressed a cashier at the register about a personal matter when I was there. Something that should not be seen by customers, nor take place in the front of the store.

Extremely traumatized with my six year old for our visit. He recently lost his cat, and we go to look at kitties, just to help him center and play with them (it's usually nice to go see the kitties for adoption) ...well, this time he happened upon the parakeet enclosure, and we noticed a little one all alone on the floor of the enclosure, all ruffled up, feathers all over the place. We, upon my sons begging, found an associate to help answer what might be wrong. She was nice, for a few moments, and was working for the grooming section, but it turned into such a sad, traumatic story. We were told, yes, in front of a 6 year old, that this parakeet was a MOM with four eggs underneath her, and that NORMALLY they do not ALLOW these birds to keep their eggs...they CRUSH THEM. ???!!!!???!!! WHAT? My little boy and I went there to get some good feels, and left with heavy hearts, wondering WHY she would even say something like that out loud, for one, and for two, telling us it's the POLICY of PETCO to MURDER baby parakeet eggs.He STILL asks me about those babies, and asks me why they would do that.This was an unforgivable and heinous experience, that will surely stand out in my child's mind FOREVER. THANKS. Please know that trauma, will stay with him forever. It's not as though we live on a farm where an animal was stillborn, or something could be gently explained...nope. This associate just blurted out CRUSHING THE EGGS and it ruined the ENTIRE REASON for making a visit to satisfy a child who had lost his own kitty, and to play with adoptable cats.

The manager was extremely helpful and patient with all the great animals at a great store. My son is grateful for this wonderful experience in his life and I couldn't be any prouder of him.
