I could go, well I DO, go crazy in this store!! The way the aisles are set up you can't help but want to go down every one of them. It was organized better than usual and their staff esp the cashiers are ALWAYS so nice there, which makes the experience for me top notch!!

What can I say....BIG LOTS is absolutely my favorite store!!!! Especially the people that work at the one in Aston, PA Concord Blvd. ALWAYS WELL STOKED CLEAN. AND HAS ALMOST EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR THE HOME, KITCHEN, FURNITURE, PILLOWS ANIMAL NEEDS,AND THE DECORATIONS!!!😲😯.1 NIGHT I WAS WALKING. CAR ACCIDENT TOTALLED. SO I OF COURSE BOUGHT MOE THEN PLANNED. THE MANAGER MIKE AS WELL AS MY SWEET HEART WHO SOLD ME MY STUNNING DINNING ROOM AND BED AND MATRESSES AND BOX SPRING. ALL UNDER 1,OOO$. BECAUSE OF SALE AND COUPON FOR BEING A 1ST TIME CUSTOMER. THOSE 2 PEOPLE DROVE AND DELIVERED MY THINGS BECAUSE I COULDN'T CARRY EVERYTHING. I LIVE 3 BLOCKS AWAY. WHO DOES THAT????💗💞

UPDATE: That manager no longer works in this store. Much better experience ****Overall, I love shopping in Big Lots but... the Aston, PA store male manager Keith is very ill mannered and off putting in the way he handles his customers. While shopping I saw signs that said extra 20 percent off posted in the store. A friendly freight manager stocking shelves, Jayme asked if we needed assistance. We inquired about the sign as did a few other customers. She said since the signs are up we should get the discount and to let them know up front she said it was alright. Well..... Keith turned a question about a discount into a situation then escalated it to where I was now upset enough to change my 5 star rewiew to a 1 star. He yelled when I told him she said it was ok. He said loudly and abruptly, " I am above her, I am not giving it to you. I extended the discount for the last three days in this store, and I am not giving it to you today." The cashier kept telling me she was sorry. She should not have to apologize for her boss. I don't deserve to be treated in such a way. I worked in customer relations for a long time and I know you don't treat customers in this manner. Whatever happened to customer service training??? Does this corporation not teach this to employees or even care? Maybe not for the Aston, PA store. Be wary of you go in there.

It's been a long time since I have been in Big Lots but I must say I love the new setup. The store looks much bigger and organized. Also the older gentleman at the register was a delight.

Been here only once a couple years ago. It was definitely crowded with items, had a wide variety of different things. But everything was so messy and all over the place it’s hard to focus on what you’re looking at.

🗣Big Lots and the OddLot are similar in many ways and pretty cool, if not seldomly experienced by myself, types of stores. They are both seemingly tough to locate and the times I've visited either franchise the parking lots were vast and largely vacant, curiously at odds with the number of inquisitive patrons I observe, usually as they are inspecting some object or another (overcarefully) before 7/10 times setting it back down and moving to their next item of interest, as I undertake my own walkthrough peeking at their wide variety of goods wondering if I'll actually spend some coin this time myself. It's actually not too divergent from other retail stores besides the apparent attempts to provide diverse wares on a minor scale I'd say compared to what I always expect for some reason, to be spaces chocked full of rarely viewed items from Zanzibar, Timbuktu, the Amazon, and many other far-flung locales my imaginings lead me to believe will be represented on the exotic shelf. Longwinded story short- decent enough retail location with a daily abundance of parking spaces and as far as the breadth of exotic items, far slimmer than the store names guide at least myself to expect to see. The prices are low to fair in the locations I've been to and customer service has been the best you could expect- the fake smiles of low paid workers performing their duties of appearing at all times duely occupied and doing their part in providing the trademark service industry simulated good vibes to see you on your way... Woohoo! Enjoy 😉

Good prices, nice Items. Got an $80. Chaise lounge today at 50% off. Love It. They have pretty much anything you can think of. Coffee, Bedding, Furniture, Animal Food and supplies etc.

Corporate should be completely and utterly ashamed of themselves for making their retail employees work on a national holiday like Thanksgiving. Retail workers are mistreated in this country by both their employers and by entitled customers. Denying them time with their families is an abuse of power. I hope this company goes out of business. I will never shop in a Big Lots again.

Went here a couple times and the employee Marc that works there was incredibly helpful he made sure that the item I was looking for was found when I couldn’t find it I would have to say that I would deffinetley be going back because of the appreciation and satisfaction I got with just moving to the area from clementon New Jersey

I went here last minute after work just to get water, got there 10 minutes before closing time and was helped by Rose, I believe she said she was a manager of the furniture department, she was so extra helpful and friendly, even though they were about to close never made me feel rushed, even went into the back storage room to get what I needed, she really went above and beyond to help me, excellent customer service! Great job

I was there with a lady in a wheelchair, and I loved how the staff were so attentive to her without being intrusive. This is the second time I have taken her there and they always try to go above and beyond It’s a tight store to manage in a wheelchair and the displays at the front of the store are on wheels so that I could easily slide them out of the way and replace them without a lot of effort.

I shopped at Big lots for a few years, buttoday 11.19.22, this new Aston, PA crew are racist. They never speak when you speak to them. I observed cashier say hello to every Caucasian person at the registered. When I approached who is a person of color & say hello first is ignored. Then they proceed to speak to the next Caucasian after me. This is called micro-aggression. Treat all people fairly.

I like the merchandise here, despite the store always being sloppy. I’ve bought from their outdoor section, and holiday section; but the location in Aston has been held up at gun point 2 times within weeks of eachother. Their security cameras are awful, and not having proper security is a huge deterrent. I’d rather drive 10 more minutes to target and pay more, knowing I could shop in a safe environment. Fix your cameras and make shoppers feel safe!!!

I rarely go in this store but when I do they never have what I want and the shelves are a mess. I really don't like to leave bad reviews but there is a reason I only go here once every two years.

I love Big Lots! Great stuff, just don't fall in love with anything. Stock changes all of the time and you may not be able to grey the item again. It's my first stop for everything!
