Visited last Sunday, hardly any customers likely due to football playoffs. It was cold sitting inside the restaurant, the heat was not on. Perhaps they would have turned it on if we’d asked. Disappointing in that most of the food seems to be packaged. The burger was okay, not much flavor though claimed on the menu to be fresh ground beef, too much bun. Mashed are instant, fries, onion rings all packaged. Attempted a pickled egg as a side but it was not pickled. It had not been in the pickling juice perhaps less than 30 minutes from the color and taste (from making them homemade this is my opinion) It was a pink hard boiled egg without vinegar or beet juice flavor. Seemed like gravy was not homemade but we didn’t ask, just ate it.

And now, in 2022, the place is freshly remodeled, the food delicious, and the staff friendly. You've got to try the crab cakes!Sad to say since our original post 8 months ago, both food quality and service have fallen. Hopefully things will pick up again now that things are returning somewhat to normal.This is a hidden treasure. I've lived in the area for years, and have watched the Cameo transform thru many owners over that time. I'm pleased to say that it is now a place that should be showcased on Drivers, Drive-ins and Dives. The specials are fabulous and unexpected for such a small place. Olga and Perry have a wonderful establishment. The wait staff is always on-cue, the prices reasonable, and the fare fresh and well crafted. Strongly recommend stopping by for dinner - and don't forget to have dessert!

Our first time visiting and won’t be our last. The 2 girls at the window were very friendly and helpful in giving us recommendations for the ice cream. The blueberry soft serve and cappuccino crunch was delicious! We got to talking to some random people at a picnic table and they said the food here is excellent. We will make it a point to come back for the food. And more ice cream!

Five stars when you look at it in the perspective of what it is - a country diner with a cozy atmosphere that serves good home style food at an excellent price. Stopped in with four buddies after a round of golf at piney apple, and we all agreed we'd return when in the area. One even said he'd be bringing his wife separately. I'm not a country music fan, but it fits the atmosphere well, and I always like when a restaurant plays the appropriate music.

Daily specials. Find myself looking daily at what is good to eat. Love the hot beef or turkey sandwiches. The cheese steak is amazing. Wonderful jumbo shrimp, we have never had one bad meal. Great place. Took a road trip to Aspers to find my great grandparents old home. This little town put a smile on my face when I found the house and a neat place to eat. Nice atmosphere, friendly waitresses, darn good food. Hope searching for more memories will bring me back,will definitely return for lunch or check out the dinner menu. The hot turkey sandwich looked mouth watering.

Everything is wonderful. People, food, decor is all perfect. Even have pick up window for to-go orders. Don't even need to go inside. Don't get me started on ice creams and desserts!Dietary restrictions: Menu allows us to choose what food we like. If you don't want meat you can order a salad. No dressing? Don't order it. Staff is very caring and has helped me with orders previously.Parking: Huge lotKid-friendliness: Good easy menu for kiddos. Friendly staff and local community. Kids are always well behaved when I visit and seem to enjoy it.

Good food but we’ve had lots of issues with trying to call in orders and nobody picking up the phone. Workers inside chit-chatting as we are waiting to be waited on. Last week we called in an order and when we got there, they only had part of the order ready. They never wrote down the other part of our order and we had to wait another 20 minutes for it, which left the first part of the order cold. Last night, we picked up our order and they never gave us the onion rings we ordered. Service & accuracy has been an issue. A friend of mine also has encountered some of the same issues. Disappointed.

We loved their subs made with fresh rolls, kids couldn't get enough of their twice fried french fries and enjoyed their chicken tenders. We were all to full to even think about ice cream but went few days later and loved all desserts we got too. Must try and loved the outdoor setting

Dropped in for lunch while doing utility surveying and was pleasantly surprised by the efficient and friendly service and the good tasting, reasonably priced food. The fries were as good as I've had anywhere else and the cheeseburger was simple and tasty. Heartily recommend.

We got the typical burger and fry , but they had great flavor and you got a huge portion for the price! They also have a great variety of food to include hot roast beef/ gravy sandwich, if you don't want a burger. Highly reccomend!

Hot roast beef with gravy and ff is by far the best I've ever had. Chocolate cake with peanut butter icing is good also. I am willing to drive 30 miles to go to this place.

Found this place on the way to Gettysburg for vacation. Our daughter wanted to go to a drive in and not sit inside because of COVID. Just as everyone else says... food was great, ice cream is great service is friendly and the prices are right!!! So good we actually went back up from Gettysburg this evening to eat again.... Well done!!!
