I am new to being an orchardist. I wanted to find a place in the same state as me to buy trees from. ACN was recommended to me by a friend. As it was my first time buying fruit trees in large quantities i had no idea what to do.i called the nice folks at ACN and their sales reps talked me through everything. tried to get an understanding of what i was after and helped talk me through the varieties i wanted, how to plant them. They were really nice and patient with me. I ordered about 50 trees. They came and they were nice looking trees. I just ordered my 2024 trees from them.prices were reasonable. Even compared to the price of the discount trees at the big box stores, and with ACN you know what trees and rootstock you are getting. Even if you want a few trees give them a call. they have an awesome variety. Shipping was not even that crazy priced.Don't judge this place by their website. If you are used to online shopping their website is not what you would be used to. Give this place a call and talk to them. You won't be sorryThanks ACN for helping me get my orchard off the ground.

I am writing this review based on close to three years worth of business with Adam's Nurseries. I have nothing but positive experience with this company. You get what you pay for and they are extremely honest and supportive. I built my orchard using their trees and couldn't be happier. The tree survival rate is close to 99%. I have dealt with other nurseries and these guys stand up in a crowd. High quality trees and great customer support, not to mention reasonable prices. Their shipping rates are very reasonable and they basically charge you cost of shipping cost while I got overcharged with two other nurseries.

We have a 10 acre orchard in Michigan, and after purchasing trees from ACN, I will never purchase trees from another source. The trees we have from ACN are fuller and more developed than trees from other wholesalers after an additional two years in the ground. Well worth the extra $0.50 per tree over other suppliers. I'd give them 10 out of 5 if possible!

This will be the second time I'm buying trees from Adams County Nursery. Looking at that one fella below there - YES - they are Bare Root... But that's what I expect - and i thought that was pretty clear on their website. But anyhow...My first batch of trees from a few years ago did well. Now, I have a different vision and I'm coming back to ACN. What I love about this place is that they are willing to help even a little backyard grower like myself. I had a ridiculous number of questions and they answered them ALL professionally and completely. Cannot recommend them highly enough.One piece of advice - if you live in an area with deer or bear avoid the dwarf root stocks. Go with the larger trees. They will get big enough that those critters won't be able to do profound damage to the trees.

Shame on me for not doing more research, but never bought fruit trees before so I was completely wet behind the ears. Drove 45 minutes to get the trees that I ordered online. It would be good practice to fully inform non wholesale buyers or homeowners of the size of the trees you sell. Literally, these $25 trees are basically twigs and crooked too! They are 3 feet tall maybe. They were all wrapped up together and I did not realize how small they were till our friend planted them for me. I was shocked by the small size. Went to Stauffers of Kissel Hill two days later and saw big beautiful trees that were sprouting with 1 1/2-2" trunks on them for $39.99. So wish I knew then what I know now.Buy from a nursery if you want dozens or even hundreds of trees that you'll resell in a year or two to make a profit. If you only want a handful of trees that will fruit soon for your home buy from a garden center. On the phone the woman from ACN basically told me that I have to live with my decision and she was not going to apologize for anything. She thinks I'll be happy in the long run...we'll see, but right now I just feel sick.
