A small ma & pa joint, cheap little eats, usually teenagers working which is wonderful for teaching younger generations responsibility. Its nice to see somewhere giving kids a chance for work.Food is really good. Never had anything bad.

Cute place to go and get something to eat. Love how the place seems to be stuck in the 70’s with the lighting and table design indoors. It makes it even cuter and even the menus seem old which I love. Quiet place, cute to go get food and isn’t expensive at all. They also have an outside order and go ice cream ordering stand! It’s perfect for such a small town.

This is an old school diner type restaurant. It's seems like a staple of Ashland. You're going to get a burger and fries and a sundae. It's going to taste moderately better than at home. You'll hear music from the 50s.When we were there the service was kind and they gave us extra fries for the table. The child with our group got a free sundae. Affordable quick service place. $27 for 3 combo meals that fed 3 adults and 1 small child, and had a good bit of fries leftover to take home. Food was GOOD we ordered two chicken cheesesteaks with fries and a drink combos and a burger combo with fries and drink. You seat yourself, place an order at the counter (menu is on a board above the cashier) and they call your number when it's ready. Tables and bathrooms were very clean. Parking plentiful and for it being lunch time on a Sunday there was plenty of seating available in the back dining area. They also have a big walk up window in the front so you can order ice creams and milkshakes in the summer months without going inside where the diners and food orders are being taken. The ice creams looked very good will be trying some desert items next time. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because if it is your first time coming it's hard to figure out how things work. There's no signs or paper menus to pick up to look at before you walk up. So hopefully this review will help other first timers know what to do! Despite lack of helpful (seating/ordering/pickup area etc) signs/directions and a bit difficult to navigate menu board, the cashier was super friendly and patient while we navigated the menu and had questions on what/how to order. I also love that they have soda fountain drinks and they serve them I'm Styrofoam take home cups! One of the only places left doing this. Keeps your drink super cold and for travelers is a benefit to bring your drink on the road after you finish lunch!

I've been going here to eat my entire life. It's such a wonderful drive up diner. They have a unique way of doing pizza, it's got it's own flavor and crust, probably my favorite of anywhere.If you like Cole slaw, they have the only that's worth eating.

We were just passing through and stopped here. Customer service was awesome and the lady there was super sweet. Food was great and even the ice cream just made it more comforting.

I ordered the same thing I always do and today for some reason they decided to put my waffle with strawberries and whipped cream together for me, instead of having all the ingredients separate so you can put it together yourself. We all don't live in town May's! By the time my waffle got here it was a soggy disgusting mess I couldn't eat. And the phones are down and they were closing early so I couldn't even get a replacement. Maybe I didn't want to eat it immediately....did you ever think of that? I wanted it for later when I feel less nauseous than I do in the morning. Thanks for screwing me again guys

10/2023 Drove over a hour for the breakfast sandwich. That should be enough of a review! We also had cheese burgers and a very good milkshake. I highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Good place for kiddies to get ice cream.

Little greasy spoon outta the way place. Ice cream was a winner, didn’t care for the fries & other food was bland.Parking: About 12 spots at the restaurant, parking is available on the street.

Fun, retro dining experience.Order American diner/drive through staples. Burgers, fries, chicken sandwich, etc. they also have a wide variety of frozen treats for dessert.Fired chicken seemed to be very popular, but I did not partake.Reasonable prices for everything.Parking: Easy parkingKid-friendliness: Great place to feed kids. Great pancakes and eggs. Bacon greasy and a bit undercooked. Crowd is lots of hunting gear and cammo. To be expected at a place like this. Tried scrapple for the first time. Pretty vile.
