Its a small store so don't expect tons of options. They do usually have several employees working however most are kids and couldn't answer a question if they wanted to. Overall okay store but hey its the only game in town what do you expect.

More than half the staff is unprofessional and LAZY! Not only that but they laugh and talk about other customers behind their backs.....to other customers.The store is barely stocked and the expiration dates are a joke. The food IS NOT FRESH nor do they have a TRUE HEALTH FOOD SECTION! They turn down cash back transactions using your bank card;as they did to this disabled veteran of the Gulf War! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, SHOP WITH CAUTION!!!!

Store is a little small, isle's are narrow. It's well stocked, and the staff are very nice and helpful. Bakery items are tasty, and they have some foods that are a little harder to get. It has a little lunch bar for on the go lunch, as well as cold foods to eat. It is convenient, yet compact. It's handicap accessible, and a pretty well laid out. Really can't complain. You can find some good bargains, and some pricey ones.

I was very upset with this store until I met a great employee of this store. This man was very kind and was singing hymns when I saw him. He kept repeating the word “Tamaqua” over and over almost as if he was chanting. He was wearing a conductors hat, and while I was asking him where to find the soup aisle, he heard a train horn and ran off to see the train. Very odd encounter, but he brought me great joy. The only grocery store in town. So I stop here usually about once a week. Cashiers are friendly. Prices are average. Excellent weekly sales. One issue I do come across is that they don't supply customers with the discount cards (and I have asked 3 different cashiers for 1) yet they advertise they use Ibotta app to save you money and this app states to have them scan your discount card. In this day and age they need these cards to supply customers.People want to save money. I want to save money.

Staff are always helpful and pleasant a smile goes a long wayOne time I was in the store shortly after hearing bad news I was crying. She asked me what's wrong and asked me if I needed a hug. I wish I would have gotten her name. It was shortly after 7/8 daytime

Lots of empty shelf's, items that were advertised on sale were not restocked, store needs to be updated, very run down looking store. Prefer the Mount Carmel store...it's modern, big and clean looking, but since I was close by I shopped in the Ashland store.

The lady at customer service named Jan should learn common courtesy. Please take your personal phone calls of gossip when there aren't customer standing waiting for several minutes then continued to talk while ringing up my groceries.

Porrly treated by deli manager. Constantly talked about me and is very rude to customers. Wouldn't recommend working there. And I've heard that from like 4 other people that worked there. Other than that, everyone there is amazing. Easy to find things & food is okay.

I love the employees! I believe they are starting to recognize me and my girls! Two staff even helped me when my daughter accidentally broke a Gatorade bottle!!! Even the young ones are nice! (Which, I dont think you get now-a-days!) Love the daytime Lotto employees! I love one deli person and I think she has been there a long time! The newbies behind the deli need to learn how to slice meat. Yes, you can get it thin. Yes, the weight on the poundage of the meat matters along with the weight of your arm. I hate their slicing! When I come home, the sliced meat looks like the yoldle mountain from the price is right game yoldle game! (Minus the lady I like! She does it the way the customer asks!)

Good place for odds and ends. It is a bit pricey but they do have plenty of sales. Cashiers are nice and the food from the deli is delicious.

I got meat that was expired. And seen nothing but cockroachs runing around the floor. Management is also ignororant. I would highly pick a weis or walmart over this boyers location

Boyers has great sales on all schmidt products. Which is delicious to begin with. They honor all sale prices even if you only get a partial of the sale.

It's Boyer's ya know. Not much variety but it's the only grocery store in town so you deal with the long lines and weird people so you don't have to drive two towns over for milk.

I usually shop at the Frackville Boyer's, so I noticed this store is way smaller and cramped and the selection isn't as good as the Frackville store. But the employees are friendly.
