If I could give a lower star, I absolutely would. This pharmacy has given me nothing but issues. For 3 days I have been trying to get 2 different prescriptions for separate needs. It’s been nothing but a run around and I had to transfer one of my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Today when I went to pick up an inhaler. My intelligence was insulted by a very rude and unpleasant pharmacist at the drop off window. Whom I explained my issue too. Her reply was awful and unhelpful. If there was another pharmacy that my insurance accepted I would 100% go there rather than deal with the entitlement and deftness of this woman.Everyone else that I have dealt with in the pharmacy was very helpful and friendly. It’s shame to give such a bad review based off one person and the experience she provided..

An important blood thinner was out of stock. I called the next morning to check the status. The website and automated messages gave vague information at best. Because it was such an important prescription, I tried to reach the pharmacy staff. I called 5 times and was unable to reach anyone in the pharmacy.In general, the wait time at this CVS is excessive, for both in line as well as preparation time for prescriptions. They are clearly understaffed.Some of the up front staff are very nice but a few were the rudest employees that I’ve ever met at a retail establishment.I’ve been using this CVS for years and the service has gotten worse and worse. I’m taking my pharmacy needs elsewhere.

If I could give CVS Pharmacy in Ardmore zero stars, I would. The staff here is extremely rude and inconsiderate, provide no education regarding the medications that they are prescribing, did not have enough medications stocked to fully fill my prescriptions, and there are long wait times with absolutely no customer service. I was getting surgery and needed to get my prescriptions filled prior to my procedure to support of care/recovery. Between my husband and I, we made four trips to the pharmacy and received NO support from the staff/pharmacists; the only reason that my medications were filled was thanks to the hospital staff. As a healthcare worker myself, I can confidently say that this pharmacy is a disgrace. I will NEVER use them again, and I recommend that you all do the same.

The pharmacist gave me information about my prescription — I came in the next day and the subsequent pharmacist told me that he had lied. This is a common occurrence. This pharmacy is unkind, unprofessional, disorganized, dishonest, and (most of all) inefficient.

I’m just going to keep this simple I found out my best friend, my buddy (dog) has heart failure and needs to be taking 4 different medications the lady who is older shorter hair was and I mean EXTREMELY rude, arrogant, and screamed at not just me but my veterinarian including a few other customers that were present. This was over her wanting a DEI number which is a number a doctor has to give when your are perceiving CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES my dog buddy was ONLY RECEIVING HEART MEDICINE NOT A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE!!!this store should not only be ashamed of having a person like that work for them but literally it’s unacceptable to have someone speak to you like that at 9am…someone needs to record her because that is disgusting the way she acts.So hey long story short if you don’t want to read all of that don’t go for the pharmacy, but if you do bring your phone to record this women….

This place purposefully drops your call after 5 min hold when you try to call. Everytime. I’ve never gotten thru. 3 days post op and still no pain meds because of the dysfunction here. They just don’t care.

The pharmacist I spoke to was the most rude lady and had the absolute worst customer service. I do not recommend this CVS at all. They aren’t able to cater to your needs and if they don’t believe you they just hang up on you on the phone. Terrible service.

This is the rudest pharmacy I’ve been to in my life, I think due to the pharmacist. They don’t answer the phone, they don’t answer questions in person, and they don’t care. I’ve never had an experience like this at a pharmacy.

The Cvs pharmacy have the worst service I have seen, my wife has epilepsy and I was going back and forth to get her medications that they need to order or send us somewhere else we can get it as she is out if for many days, but the pharmacist didn’t want to and told me if you go there you will need a new refill to come back here. That means she was doing all this to for us not to go. I will find a better pharmacy for my family and don’t suggest to anyone to go to this place.

I have had a prescription “delayed” for over a month and when I called they said they were out of stock and to try another CVS. But they wouldn’t check for me because they told me themselves that they did not have time to do it. Never had a pharmacy before tell me they could not help me and then rush me off the phone after being on hold for almost an hour.

Heidi, the pharmacist is very very rude. I witnessed her give a mom THE worst attitude when the mom ask about her baby’s prescription. Heidi wouldn’t search it and also told the lady that, “It’s not that serious it isn’t an emergency” I will be contacting corporate. She should be fired !

So I came in at the Pharmacy's lunch half hour, which I have to say is great! I am very glad that cvs is trying ensure that everyone is getting some kind of lunch break. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at this location. the staff are always polite, and willing to chat for a minute or two if they have the time, although they are routinely very busy. The Pharmacists always do their best, and never complain, and I fully appreciate them all! Great job, everyone!

The "Pharmacy" section was average service before Covid now it is the worse. They need to hire more help and upgrade their systems. The pharmacy system glitches or crashes often and you can rarely get someone in the pharmacy on the phone.

I don't blame the staff - I blame CVS as a corporation for understaffing and poor utilization of resources. The pharmacy department needs an entire re-haul. The staff are clearly working hard but they're visibly overwhelmed and appear poorly organized. After being placed on ~50 min hold (see screenshot), I decided to finally go to the store in-person only to be told that the insulin I needed was not available despite being advised to return the next day. Unsure what exactly is going on but it feels like a madhouse, similar to a poorly run emergency room. I feel bad for the staff .. But CVS needs to do better if it aims to retain customers along with providing continued access to life saving drugs.

Female pharmacist refused to fill a child's antibiotic prescription!As a family physician, I have called in antibiotic prescriptions to other states when my patients were traveling. Never had a single problem until today. This lady was making excuses, un-willing to help and she was unpleasant.I called the CVS customer service to report her, but was then transferred to a deadline. Today is Sunday 1/29/23. Time is 5pm.I will call CVS headquarter again Monday.

I received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. On 4/19/2023 I was refused service during normal business hours because an employee by the name of Heidi who wanted to close the pharmacy prior to the 8:00 pm closed the gate. Once I told her that the time was in fact 7:55 which was visble on register as well as my personal phone and watch, she continue to refuse service. Only after mention that I would filing a co plaint did I recieve service by the another employee. Closing early is. In Heidi attempt to steal time from her employer she has opened CVS to serious legal ramifications. I hope she can see this as an opportunity to improve her customer service or find a new job.

I left this CVS before because of the long Pharmacy line (around lunch break) - so I advise to come when it's less busy! This CVS is definitely less depressing than at other locations - that's why it gets a relatively high rating from me (although I got all my vaxxes at the CVS on City Ave near Aldi).

I go there about once a month. It is one of the few 24 hr pharmacies. I general there are some good people who work there but there seems to be a high turnover in staff. There was no pharmacist there today so they shut it down til tomorrow (whaa?). One of the pharmacy technicians is very rude too. I find her hard to listen to - and she gets in your business.They never answer the phone.

Every time I have come to this specific CVS pharmacy, I have had such wonderful experiences. Today wasn’t such a good trip. I went to the pharmacy to pick up medication. The cashier wasn’t the happiest because of course it’s early in the morning. One of the medications couldn’t be picked up and I was speaking to the pharmacist for an explanation on why I couldn’t receive the medication. The pharmacist was nice and easily explained what the conflict was. Soon after the pharmacist leave, the cashier went from not such a good day to a sour apple. She instantly started being rude and abrasive towards me. I really didn’t understand what was wrong. I am 7 months pregnant and was very tired and I was still able to keep my composure despite my hormones telling me to react. The cashier/pharmacy tech name is Alexis. Cashier number: 161343

CVS Corporate needs to fire and replace the management of the pharmacy. NOONE ever answers the phone in the pharmacy, and the poor upfront manager can't seem to prod them into answering. I had to switch a critical Rx to another CVS near where I live (with very nice pharmacy staff and responsiveness) and then drive it 1-hour to my daughter. Might as well close Ardmore; it is completely useless.

This has to be the WORST CVS pharmacy in Montgomery County. My husband and I came here in the previous year for a covid booster. The store is poorly ventilated, the staff was extremely rude and incompetent. They claimed that our insurance was expired and commenced to huddling around a phone like confused chickens trying to figure out what we already knew (that our insurance was up to date). We felt so uncomfortable with these people sticking a needle into us that we just took our cards and left. I chalked it up to it being a one -time experience and perhaps this isn't the norm, boy was I wrong! My pediatrician chose this pharmacy for our daughter by chance because of the distance from the doctor. I didn't realize at the time that it was the same cvs that traumatized us from the covid booster situation. My daughter's meds were out of stock, we never received an update on them being in stock. I tried getting my birth control..that was out of stock too. Yesterday I called early in the morning to check the status of my birth control and the person on the phone said it was in stock. I drive to the pharmacy after work to pick it up, extremely long line, I'm now having flashbacks to the covid situation... and guess what...BIRTH CONTROL OUT OF STOCK! A technician told me they could give me an alternative brand, she even shows me the bag with the meds and tells me to just wait. Then I see her leave the store! Like please just give me my meds! So I'm waiting without help. Other customers are frustrated and rightfully so. One man I swear was going to hurt a tech if they didn't give him his lifesaving meds that he's been waiting for for like 10 days. When I finally talk to the pharmacist she tells me that they have my original script and SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHY THEY DIDN'T JUST GIVE IT TO ME! I see staff in the back scrambling for other customer scripts, losing them..just awful. Oh and how about they had my insurance information WRONG! So in order to get my meds I had to call IBX and give them the right information. They had my name wrong, my old address...just complete foolery. When I finally left, I felt like I was abused. I just transferred all my scripts to another pharmacy before writing this review. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND FRUSTRATION AND DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!!!!!!

This is my local CVS and it’s extremely busy and has challenges like a-lot of places post pandemic and all but 1 guy there I personally take issue with most employees are friendly and helpful.Just leaving moments ago and in the in store vestibule as you exit there was a three person group doing high pressure money raising for endangered animals????? Like who thought that was a good idea?? Is that a local decision or a corporate one? I can handle lines at the pharmacy but I really don’t want to be hit up for money when exiting a CVS. The young ladies seemed nice enough and I’m sure their cause is a good one but please draw a line somewhere.Again I would love to know who ok’d this because it seems like it was be a huge dissatisfier to CVS’s customers.

If I could I would have 0 star. Had an appointment but waited 30 minutes. I Didn’t get the vaccine but got a text next day stating I received the vaccine. Tried to call, waited at least 10 minutes, no one picked up the phone. It’s a fraud. I’ll call my insurance company tomorrow. Unbelievable

THEY FILLED MY PRESCRIPTION WITH A BOTTLE THAT WAS ALREADY OPENED AND MISSING PILLS PLEASE READ!!! Two days ago my doctor prescribed two different medications, I went there later on that day just in case they were ready. First off these days it’s hard to predict how busy they’ll be. When I was there they had so many people waiting in line, wasn’t really a big deal to me but a lot of people around me were getting irritable and if you’re in a hurry be aware. I sympathize with the employees, I understand they’ve had their hours cut from 24 hours and they’ve been badly understaffed. I politely inquired about my prescription and was told it’d be ready by that night or I could pick it up the next day. I was fine getting it the next day. That night I went to take one of the pills from what was meant to be a FULL BOTTLE OF 30 TABLETS, only to find that not only was the tamper seal BROKEN but there were only 5 freaking pills in the container. Like I said I get that they have their hands tied right now but I can’t believe they’d just let this slide. It’s a huge safety issue and completely unacceptable regardless of the circumstances. Today I tried to get on the phone with them to fix it only to be on hold for 30 minutes, an hour, with no answer. When I talked to a front store employee they told me they are NINE DAYS BEHIND on prescriptions. I had to call customer service just to talk to somebody about it and now I still have to wait for them to call me in 24-48 hours. NEVER USING THIS PHARMACY AGAIN IT’S BECOME EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE. BE CAREFUL TRUSTING THEM.
