This used to be our go-to spot for my golden retriever. They had a great groomer named Joe who did all the goldens. Joe left and each time we've taken my dog there we have been disappointed. We also experienced higher and higher charges each time for poorer and poorer work. When I asked about what the charges were for and why they increased so much from one session to another, the staffer got mad and refused to answer other than "it's what we charge now." Unfortunately, they would also not share where Joe went to so we have taken our business elsewhere.

I have been taking my two dogs to Ardmore Grooming for years. I love the way they are treated there. Varien is the best groomer and very patient -- one of my dogs has anxiety and he has always handled him very well! Robyn and staff are always friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Would highly recommend this establishment!!

First appointment today at Ardmore Grooming Station with our 14-year-old Cockapoo. Very happy with the results. The groomer, Bella, was kind, friendly, and patient. She did exactly what we asked her to do and our boy looked and felt great when we picked him up. We've already made our next appointment for six weeks from today.UPDATE: Second visit today, six weeks after my initial review. Five stars! Bella did a super job and we're set up for another appointment with her in six weeks. Friendly, welcoming environment where every dog is "prettified" one at a time, head to tail, start to finish. No crate-and-park or multi-tasking groomers. We're very pleased with the whole experience. So glad we discovered Ardmore Grooming Station.

I have been coming to Ardmore grooming station for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Robin is a gem and every groomer in the shop is amazing. I can’t say enough about this place- my tiny pompoo is an old man and they accommodate him as though he were royalty and go at his pace since he can’t stand for long. He used to have such anxiety at our former groomer and when we are walking up to the door his tail is wagging and he knows he will be pampered. When he’s done they call and I know he is good hands untilI get there. He’s ugly but they somehow make him look cute. Magic? Who knows but I’ll take it. I also take my homicidal cat there to get shaved and they do a wonderful job- they do cats at the end of the day so they aren’t stressed from the dogs. Wether I’m dropping off or picking up the dogs that are there are all happy and bouncy and being loved on. I love seeing all the pups with their new do’s and their hair all did. I can’t say enough about this place and about Robin and her staff. The place is also spotless - I don’t know how they do it but it always smells good. I have a golden retriever puppy who is a new client as well, I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else.

I came here a few months ago to get some a-la-carte walk-in services for my pup after my usual groomer closed and the lady there (i think she may have been the owner) seemed annoyed that we were there despite advertising walk-in services. I had tried my best to call in advance for several days and a week later she got back to me, only to not answer yet again when I called her back. For someone with social anxiety this place is a nightmare. The groomers themselves are extremely sweet and professional and caring with my pup, but the lady who runs it is just awful.

**UPDATED**So, after bringing Marley to this groomer a few more times the quality of work went down hill big time like they didn’t care anymore and the front desk is an absolute disaster, oh also there is no parking at all. We have since left this place and should of after the second visit but gave them the benefit of the doubt but we were wrong.**REVIEW BELOW WAS AFTER FIRST VISIT**Dropped off our dog Marley for a spa day and all we can say is WOW, he looks absolutely amazing after getting a bath and a good brush. He looks like a puppy again at 8-1/2 years old and he def. feels like a million bucks after the treatment and care he received.

It was my doggie's first time and I was a little nervous leaving him. Because he has some anxiety. I come back to a brand new dog. When I saw him he wasn't even trying to come to me but to the other dogs. He seemed so happy to be there. They told me he was a good puppy and he was just a little nervous but was good after he got started. Ardmore Grooming is definitely the place I'm 100% ok with leaving my puppy. The employees are very nice not just to you but your furbaby as well.

Ardmore Grooming Station did a great grooming job on our Berniedoddle. Finnegan is very excitable and past groomers said they had hard time grooming him. Ardmore Grooming Station said Finnegan was a joy. My wife told me the dogs were aloud to roam around. I know Finnegan loved that. Also the cost of the grooming was very reasonable.

Grooming was well done, I have been bringing my 2 dogs there for over 5 years. Reception is a total mess: Made an appointment for one dog, they had my other dog listed (he died 3 months earlier). Unpleasant reception lady did not apologize for confusion (blamed me) said we never groomed this dog (been there for years) fortunately staff reminded her my dog had been there before. Gave my cell they called a different number while I waited for almost 3 hours. Unpleasant vibes made my dog very anxious (not the only one as many dogs were agitated and barking). Texted that they do pick up outside, I had to bring in and pick up inside (confusing). No apologies from lady at reception who clearly has an attitude. Parking always a nightmare (none).The actual groomer was very friendly I believe she felt bad about how the receptionist (?owner) handled it all.

I have a Boston Terrier almost 7 yrs old. Our vet referred us to Ardmore Grooming Station for her nail clipping, that they used to do, well it was THE BEST reference ever given to us! Our baby has never been to a groomer before so I was scared of how she'd react. We used to bathe our baby ourselves but decided why not let them give her a spa treat & she got her nails done (best mani-pedi EVER!!) As well as a bath & her teeth brushed. I wasn't sure how she would be around other pets since she's just always around people & they don't cage them here, but they said she was so good. We absolutely loved Andrea & Joe and so did Molly. My worst fears, are no more! I love this place!! God bless you all for helping our pets with their needed groomings! ❤

Robyn and her staff were AMAZING! One of my pomeranians is extremely aggressive when anyone has tried to groom her. She has been turned away by several groomers. Poor baby was a matted mess! Enter Brenda... she was so kind and took on the case! She took incredible care of Stella! Baby girl looks so beautiful! I have found our new groomer! I will now take both of my fur babies to Brenda from now on! Thank you to Ardmore Grooming Station for a wonderful experience!!!

I expected this to be a positive experience given all of the 5 star reviews that it has received. I was looking for a place, no matter the price, that would do a good job grooming my dog and treat us both with respect. However, this was the worst grooming experience I have had yet. The groomer was nice enough, but definitely not enthusiastic for you to be there. I am unsure of whether my dog was even brushed and he was still wet when I picked him up. The worst part of the experience and why I would not recommend this grooming place is the secretary. She was rude, ignorant, and unprofessional. She seemed aggravated that we were even there and she clearly didn’t appreciate dogs considering the unpleasant behavior she had towards the other dogs being groomed. I have never encountered such bad customer service. I hope she owns the place because her attitude will inevitably lose business.

This place is just the best. This is our second grooming place since we got our goldendoodle and we have never had a bad experience. My boy love love loves hanging out with the other pups at pick up and drop off time. I've not experienced any rude staff, we go about every 4-6 weeks depending on the season and I feel like I've interacted with a variety of the folks working there. We normally see Verion who is the sweetest, kindest person who loves my boy like he's his own. It's very hard to find groomers that don't style our goldendoodle like a poodle but Verion does a fantastic job keeping him cute and comfortable year-round.There have been a couple of times that we couldn't get into see V, I took the soonest available, and I wasn't disappointed. The parking issue sucks, but they are so accommodating, the quality of the staff and the ease of not being crated or at the groomers all day FAR outweighs the inconvenience of me having to circle the block once or twice a year. I almost didn't want to leave this review because I don't want the place to get too busy!

Amazing! I am extremely particular when it comes to grooming my dog especially since he will be entering the show ring so finding a groomer that knows the breed, provides a positive experience for the dog as well as myself, uses hypoallergenic/environmentally friendly products and doesn't cost a fortune took a little time but we hit the jack-pot with Ardmore Grooming Station! The Ardmore Grooming Station crew fulfilled all of the above and then some. Couldn't be happier with my 5 month old Bernese Mountain dogs grooming and am happy to say we have found his permanent grooming spot!

Varien is an EXCELLENT groomer- personable, easy to tell him what we need and he always does his best to follow through.Robin at front desk - my husband says she owns the place - was horrific.I am serious. Clueless.I needed to drop our shih tzu off today as my husband had surgery in the morning. (He usually does drop off).He had called the day before to confirm the day and time - we knew it wouldn’t be our usual groomer as Varien is going on vacation.Robin was rude and down right aggressive - telling me our dog wasn’t booked and that was that. We actually got into a semi-shouting match. And then she had the audacity to look around at all her groomers (who were working hard)and shout “Oh My God” as if I (the customer) was insane. Customer service or High School Prima Donna?!??Fortunately, the groomer my boy was scheduled with came over and verified he was with her.Ms. Robin is “above her raisin’”. It’s not the only rodeo in town and I will be communicating to my neighborhood dog folks (12 +) such. Varien is super but this “Karen” running isn’t worth my blood pressure spike.We are looking elsewhere and I will let my neighbors Convenience truly isn’t everything!

Ok, i read a good deal of the reviews online about the ‘rude’ receptionist. My experience......not true. The entire team could not have been nicer to me and more importantly my 75lb yellow lab. They spent 1.5 hrs with him and he LOVED it.....except the nail trim, which he hates anyway. I loved that they don’t keep any of the pups in crates. Free range fun for the clientele! $60 for shedding brush, bath with hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner, nail trim, brush teeth and ear clean. Gave a tip to the groomer, Joe. He was fantastic.

I like that the dogs are not kept in crates while waiting, there are gated areas for them to walk around. My girl is big (120.lbs) and gets major anxiety when crated. They also know how to groom Bouviers, that's a plus.

Did an Excellent job on our "Finny" (BichonPoo) with a matting issue. First time going there, will definitely be going back. Parking can be an issue, but they have curbside drop-off and pick up. Pricing depends on pet size and additional services required.

Probably fine if you just need cosmetic grooming. Declined to do flea treatment, so if that is the sort of grooming service that you need, don't bother to call them. Hours also seem to be limited (hours not listed on website, and calls not picked up until late morning)

I would not recommend this place. I have called several times to schedule an appt and the staff is rude and unprofessional. Every time they say uh we’re not accepting new clients. They also said we can have the owner call you but she’s super busy so it’s very unlikely she’ll call you back. It’s a shame because this place is so close to my home. There will come a time when they’ll need business and I wouldn’t take my dog there. I also hear they cut too much hair off poodles faces.
