Everything was covered in dust. Employees didn't seem like they wanted bothered. Smelled like mold, dried cat poop and pee. Cats were the only happy things in there. Vibe felt miserable

They starve there animals when I went there I herd squeaking and I went to look I saw the mice kill and eat the mouse and when I went to tell the them they said one minute and never went to get the mouse I hope this place gets taken over by better people smh 🤦

I have been coming here for many different pets since I was tiny with my Dad. Now as an adult I still come back and buy from them. Great family owned business with very responsible prices. Friendly service! 10/10. I’ll always ship here!

Animals are not taken good care of... But, this place also is a near by place for pet necessities if you don't wanna go to Walmart. I recommend only being here for the items and not the pets.. yes, you can buy one and help out but from a few people, I've heard the person die within 1-2 weeks or even days of having them! So get the pets when they first get there so that doesn't happen. Also The Fish Bowl Too..has animals like guinea pigs, mice, snakes, cats, and even fish. But the place also reeks a not good smell and could probably make you sick so don't be in there to long. You're welcome!

The owners were pretty nice and welcoming. Lots of cute kitties running around the only problem is that the place was a bit dirty. There were dead fish in just about every other fish tank.

Very helpful owners! I love seeing actual animal lovers work and help customers. The store is filled with loving happy rescue kitties who are all so sweet. I had a great experience there! I'd much rather go here than big name stores!

Pros- Cats are friendly and sweet , great selection of fish, and feeders for fish and reptiles. Pets enclosures looked clean and cared for.Cons- Smells really bad like cat poop sick cat's poop I know pet shops have smells but this was bad needs a strip and deep clean , and there was pee all over the bottom shelves and floor obviously some cat in there is very stressed from something .

This place needs SHUT DOWN! Guinea pigs water bottles were bone dry, cats running around everywhere, place reeks of kitty litter because the litter boxes haven't been cleaned in awhile, we got crickets and I think out of the entire dozen we bought (for $2.00), 5 of them were actually alive. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Place smelled bad because of overflowing litter boxes. One cat was in a cage without food or water... I pointed it out to the gentleman and he passed the buck to his absent daughter. Nice variety of supplies.

The ppl that own the store seem to be a little rude, but they did help me with my betta fish. She suggested new water treatment and betta food. I will def be back for more pet supplies. I did notice a strong cat pee odor. But come to find out that they rescue a lot of cats in the area. So i guess that comes with having many cats.

Great place to come for all of your pet needs. They have some of the most amazing rescue kitties that have come from bad situations...the staff here really works hard to ensure they have all they need for a better life in our area!

They're prices were what we were looking for, but we'd rather drive all the way to monroeville and pay triple the price to recieve some decent customer service. I can deal with cold people, but I will not buy from a place that treats me like I'm an inconvenience. So disappointing

I purchase more fish than most people...buy online and from all the lfs in the Pittsburgh area. The fish bowl too always has a decent selection nothing too exotic or rare. But everything I have purchased has thrived. No sick fish. I bought a few dozen feeder guppies for some bass fry I couldn't get to eat, ended up keeping a lot of them and mixed them with some fancies have gotten some great hybrid stock out of them and they have been very healthy.Purchased an 8" Arowana last fall and one year later he is pushing 28" and still growing rapidly!Decent pricesGood selection of freshwater fishAnd they always have decent sized juvenile silver Arowanas at reasonable pricesHealthy crickets. Healthy feeder fish.(for when u have a stubborn predator) nice selection of frozen foods and dry foods.Good selection of hard scape, driftwood, rocks etcThey don't seem to ever have any live inverts or plants. But for what they stock everything looks healthy. Have my eye on the red tail cats they have in stock. Perfect size to grow out(6-8") for around $40. Great selection of large angles at a good price, Raphael cats, wood cat, and an assortment of the usual community assortment with some brackish tanks peppered in. I check in often as they always seem to have something new!

Cat piss bowl. Sadly I was looking forward to this local fish store to buy a new fish being new in town, I immediately turned around and walked out, that place smelled like a litter box, I figured it was one small area. Walked to the back and it got worse, the litter boxes for their cats had piles of crap in it. Omg, I got sick when I got into my car. I will hopefully follow up with this place cause I support local businesses but man, the smell of cat urine was so powerful. Gross

It was terrible in there, the animals were poorly taken care of! This place really needs to learn how to take care of his animals. There were animals dying in cages I watched a rat take it’s last breath it’s sickening and sad.
