One of the only good memories of my childhood is going to the Poconos with my parents on weekends and stopping here for some ice cream... It was a ritual and the half way point to our house up there. Unfortunately, the last time I was there was in the early 2000s, I just looked this place up on google maps because I was nostalgic and I'm happy that it still exists. I don't even remember food, just Ice Cream there but I loved the vibe, would recommend it to everyone, hope I visit it one more time in the future.

Look super cute on the outside, waited all week to go since it said Monday it was open till 7 and when we got there the person hid onside and ignored all calls. Imagine getting a 2 year old back in car after you told them we were getting ice cream. Said open till 7pm went at 4:30 pm. Hours need to updated and if you are there the least they can do is say sorry we closed early or something not just go hide in the back. Very rude

Great little spot off the beaten path friendly kids serving you ice cream was excellent also ordered a soda float they give you the rest of the bottle that they filled your cup and ice cream with to add soda to the melted ice cream great little touch highly recommend

Great little spot for ice cream or food! I love the bbq sandwich. Shady quiet spot in the woods with seating- close to ForEvergreen Nature Preserve (Brodhead Heritage center) and other local fishing spots/swimming holes. Staff are friendly and helpful. As noted by others- cash only. I enjoy supporting this local business. Update- they will take Venmo or PayPal!

I love these little ice cream/food stands that are all over the Poconos. The ice cream is good here and the prices are fair, however the real surprise is the chicken tenders, which are exceptional; the fries are really good too. However, this place really needs a facelift. The last time it had a fresh coat of paint, I think I was in high school (I'm 40), but they have been around that long, which is a testament in itself. Stop in to support this small family business, you surely won't regret it.

Always the best. Best homemade pistachio ice cream ever and I consider myself a pistachio expert... they carry just a few flavors that are to dye for, as I tried also the vanilla one. The owners told me they went to ice cream school and it shows.

Mary Anne’s is a hidden gem in the forest. It’s secluded & well worth the drive for very low priced, fresh, quality, made to order burgers, hotdogs, delicious ice cream, & more. Dogs can share treats.

Delicious and reasonable! You can't find many places like this anymore. I ordered chocolate ice cream with pb sauce and got soft instead or hard. They quickly replaced it with no fuss.

Stopped to get a root beer float and a chilli dog. Best place to cool off especially on a hot summer day. Tables are under shade trees and clean bathrooms ate provided.

I use to go there when I was a kid Mary Ann would always come out and speak catch up we would have a blast and we faithfully would go there on Aug 4th since 1989 till we moved out of Pennsylvania If you ever heard the story of the woman who delivered a baby in the parking lot that was my mom Aug 4th 1989 my mother with the help of Mary Ann getting towels they delivered my cousin Joan

Awesome place nestled in the valley formed by the broadhead creek in the poconos,Ice cream is delicious and the spot is very nice with nice seating areas next to beautiful old growth forest behind it.I would definitely recommend coming here.They have soft serve ice cream and shakes as well as the harder scoops.Also with a food menu.

Stopped here when passing during a road trip and it was such a perfect place to stop for some ice cream. They have a pretty large selection of food, ice cream, slushies, and even have pup cups for your pets! If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to stop by again!

Hi. I’m writing with the hopes that the manager / owner sees this and corrects this situation. We just stopped in on Sunday June 19th at 3pm — for soft serve and a milk shake. Soft serve was very good. But the milk shake was horrible. Texture was bad, tasted like milk. We brought this to the attention of the 3 people you have working there and they said we would have to buy a new one. Really?! They made a bad milk shake and we have to buy another one. No apologies. No ownership of the product. No customer service. We left aggregated on this father’s day. Is this how you train your people? Very disappointing!!!

We have been there for Ice Cream numerous times and each time has been perfect. The setting is beautiful and a nice cool spot in the shade. The people that work there are very nice. Don't forget to bring cash, no cards accepted. We'll be back!

Amazing! The food and ice cream are great! I tried the shakes, ice cream, and cheese fries and my girlfriend and I love it all. In matter of fact, we are about to head there again right now. About to order some burgers and ice cream. I plan on trying the whole menu. I definitely recommend this place :)

I love this place I’ve been coming here since I was a child. Now my husband and I bought a place nearby and we bring our kids. I love their ice cream and they give you crazy lots for the price. Definitely worth coming here!!

I love this place! Its a cute nostalgic location in the middle of nowhere, Between Stroudsburg and Cresco. I had a medium chocolate cone with chocolate sprinkles which was as tall as a skyscraper. It was as high as a skyscraper. It was so CREAMY too! The prices are great esp. compared to other ice cream places in the area.

Not like it once was. I find the bright yellow posts 'strategically located' in their parking area very UNINVITING. The young help is, well, poorly trained in people skills. They had no chocolate soft serve (only vanilla and twist??!!??) My husband insisted on stopping, missing summers pleasure of soft serve ice cream, the experience was meh.I worked as a teen for a number of years during the summer at an ice cream stand in the area. Social skills, a welcoming smile and attitude seem to be lost any more.
