Great place for a quick in and out or a large grocery order. Great deli area and always fresh produce. Has a decent amount of specialty foods. Staff here are always pleasant and helpful. If I had a question about an item, staff could always help or see if it could be ordered.

Purchased a dozen of walnut kolachi for$8.99,they were absolutely garbage,hard as a rock and no nut feeling whatsoever.Food is expensive enough, l just threw $9.00 away. Don't by this garbage.

Very disappointed in the customer service. I have been shopping here for 20+ years and they do not stand by their products. Bought this meat on 3/20 with a sell date 3/21, by 3/22 solid white color. Instead of the manager saying so sorry, let us replace it, he could care less. I guess Giant Eagle just got a new customer.

New season of Pepsi and I bought my first bottle today...after I took a healthy first drink...the expiration date and the taste of a completely flat pop...very disappointed and not acceptable. A few days or even a month past expire date but 7 months to be? How does this happen. I work in convenience store setting as a General Manager...I have a system in place that would never let an expired product go anywhere past 10 days let alone 7 months. Shame on Shop n Save and shame on the Pepsi vendor who stocks and or writes their weekly order. 28 weekly visits didn't catch this.

Nice neighborhood grocery store with friendly staff. Good selection of bakery items and prepared foods, like their rotisserie chickens for a quick home cooked type meal. Prices okay on average but they have pretty good weekly ads with some good sales. Meat a good quality but you have to watch the expiration dates if you don't plan on cooking or freezing it by the next day. Overall... it's very convenient with a nice selection.

Although small, this grocery store is pretty good. Nice amount of produce, meats and bakery.The cashier's are all super young, but are well trained and get you rung up and bagged up pretty quickly

Managers are poorly trained and laugh at customers and the ethnicity of other people. Software on the p.o.s in the store is out of date and don't have listed most Wic approved items. Prices are also way higher then even giant eagle. SAVE YOUR MONEY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Store is owned and operated by 🤡 's

I love that this place exists. I love that it’s an old-school supermarket with lots of employees and a great selection of products. This store serves the Ambridge area in a spectacular fashion, and if you live nearby, YOU SHOULD GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. A very good bakery, a very good butcher, and a great fresh vegetable section. This tiny supermarket is worth your business.

I enjoyed my time in the store, I found everything that I needed, a few employees were disgruntled, but I found my experience here overall fun. Being from Cleveland, Ohio I wanted to find a store other than Walmart, so we went to Shop 'N Save, and I got a perk card for Sunoco gas. Yes!

This is a very nice store. Nicer than most Shop n' Saves i have been in. The deli is quite nice with some local products I don't see elsewhere. The parking lot doesn't have handicap parking and is a little confusing to get out of but over all I enjoyed it. They have diet Farygo which tastes like RC cola. The store is a little oddly laid out but overall I think you will enjoy it.

I was shopping here and then waited outside for my ride. I noticed the manager getting all the carts together. She is the most inquisitive person I have ever met. She is so kind and willing to talk to you. I was having a bad day and just how she came at me, I smiled. She is a fantastic soul to talk to! Thanks for brightening my day Ms. Manager at Shop n Save in Ambridge! She's the blonde in the evening shift.

When I first visited here again, I was excited to see they had replaced the cold shelves with freezer units for items such as milk, butter & yogurt. The shelves are always stocked and when they’re not, they’re in the process of being restocked. The selection of items isn’t anything to boast about, but they do have a decent inventory. My only complaints are some of the employees attitudes with customers including myself, and the cleanliness is lacking, so much so they had ants on a shelf. Some employees explained the location is owned by the same people that own the Rochester location just a few miles away. This makes sense as they apparently don’t like to spend an extra penny on some very needed improvements.

They have a decent selection and prices are pretty much the same as giant eagle but the staff aren't friendly from what I've seen. When I went last might, the girl that rang me out tried to get me outta line so fast. She was not careful with my stuff and wouldn't even say hello after i greeted her. If people are working with the general public they should at least try to use common courtesy.

Good place to shop with a nice large store and competitive prices. It feels a little run down but that doesn't mean don't go there. Just don't expect a brand new store. It has definitely been there for a while without any remodeling. The people there are really nice and willing to help you. Always have a good experience gong there.

I was just in this store and I was to get _5:00 off my order after buying $ 20 worth of products already that's what the shelf said . I was buying Helman . The front store supervisor would not honor the coupon. I ask to speaker to the store manager he said I had to speak to him. He was going to let me cancel my order over $ 5:00 . As much as I hate to go to G.E. I will , not a pleasant supervisor. Poor excuse for a person to represent your store .

I go here for the no fee atm. They have good fried chicken. Huge hot food bar. Looks like a regular supermarket. Poker machines when you walk in for your entertainment. People seem nice. I'm only there for a few minutes. I'd shop there if I need to.

It looks a bit old or run down inside. The selection isn't so great. I have a difficult time getting everything I need.The place is completely accessible. LOTS of free parking. Easy access from the road with a traffic light.

Never super crowded, and they have a decent, random selection of vegetarian/vegan items. They have Beyond burgers and one or two other similar fresh meat-free options. They also have a small but varied gluten-free section as well.
