I was at the CVS Pharmacy in Ambridge, PA. Today. I was pressed for time and the manager saw me and approached me quickly to assist me. He swept me off my feet he was so good at his job and very personable. We ended up at the cash register and engaged in a conversation with two other employees. The manager and staff all seem happy to be there helping customers. It was a pleasant shopping experience.

The pharmacists deserve a raise. They have been absolutely wonderful to me, and came to them from Rite Aid. Amanda in particular is absolutely fantastic and could not be any more helpful. Rite aid was a NIGHTMARE.

The posted store hours need to be honored. I got to the store at 8:52 pm and the store was already locked up for the night, despite the clearly posted hours announcing that they would be open till 9:00. While standing in front of the store I called the front end on my cell and asked if I could make a quick purchase. The representative said they had been closed since 8pm. CVS, you need to change your posted sign or honor it, because customers make their plans accordingly.

As of late, there's nobody manning the "front of house". I try to use the self checkout whenever possible, but on the rare occasion that I need a cashier with a pulse, there's nobody, so I have to go to the pharmacy just to get rung out. The last two times I've been in there, I've used the self checkout while a whole line of people waited for a cashier. I pressed the "request assistance" button on the screen and sure enough, someone hustled to the front immediately to help me. I told them I didn't need anything but that the line of people behind me did. I'm escalating this to corporate because the service at this place is a joke.

When I couldn't find anyone to ask for assistance, I went to the pharmacy counter and after being totally ignored for quite a while, I asked if they knew where I could find the product I needed. One of them eventually acknowledged my presence and said in a dismissive way, "We are not open yet, ask at the front desk." I went to the front, waited for quite a while, and then shouted several times, "Hello!" Eventually somebody appeared from the back and helped me. My annoyance is with the pharmacy staff as the front desk assistant was very helpful: It was 5 minutes before the official opening time for the pharmacy and they were just talking amongst themselves but, instead of saying they didn't know, or politely answering me, I was treated like an annoyance. I'll try Rite-Aid next time I need something.

Lady in pharmacy was extremely rude. And was rude in front of the other employees including the pharmacist that said nothing to her about her behavior. There was confusion involving a Covid test. She was SO ignorant and slammed the drive-through window a couple of times on us while we were trying to speak. I will never go to this CVS again. NEVER!!!

I am switching after today. The staff do not listen, they make up weird reasons for why they need to call your doctor or insurance even when you’ve been on the same medications for months.. they delay your prescription. This place is so unprofessional and does not have a good attitude towards customers. Was told several times my prescription would be done by a certain time only to go and pick it up and be told they have nothing in the system. I never one had an issue filling my easy non narcotic simple meds at giant eagle l.

Zero stars wasn’t an option or I would have gave them none, all their workers are lazy and it’s just a horrible experience, same thing with rite aid in conway. I think everyone from PA is just brain dead or operating on bong resin and barly hops. Just shut it down.

Staff is always nice, probably cuz I'm not an entitled baby who needs waited on at a convenience store. Good folks who know the lay out of the store well off the top of their heads and have never been wrong about stock when I ask yes or no questions. Good place to grab what I need quick and get out! Or browse when I need a little shopping seratonin.

Cashier never stands behind the counter as is aporopriate She hides somewhere in the rows of the store floor and therefore you do not know how long to wait. At one time I walked past her to the cash register to check out, but instrad of followng me she waited until I rung the bell.She did not know how to process a money order, so she called the manager through the intercom. Up to three times. 5 minutes later he still did not come to the front to help. I saw him in the back of the store with a customer in conversation. Clearly no appreciation for customers who want to check out. Also I wonder if this poor management is not the reason the cashier is never stands by the cash register.

After waiting a few minutes and ringing the bell 3 times at the front counter I proceeded to check out at the pharmacy. After explaining that I had rang the bell for service three times and no one came out, she took my item rang it up and threw the bag down on the counter. No words exchanged at all. Very, very rude.

Pill count was wrong on two scripts and being on state state Parole this could of easily cost me dearly. When attempting to address this with the pharmacist I was treated rudly as if it where my fault. Thank goodness I never left the counter with my meds I will never be doing business there again.

Came home on military leave and needed a prescription filled and while at the Ambridge CVS, I inquired about the location of the 2016 Greek Festival location in Ambridge. The experience resulted in what I can only describe as a staff that takes pride in doing their job and taking care of the people in the community. One can't exist without the other. The young woman that worked the front desk was very pleasant and told me she didn't have the info on the festival but 'Bob', the pharmacist would be back shortly and fill my prescription before closing and probably help me with the info I requested. Bob, while filling my prescription, made a phone call on the spot and gave me the pinpoint directions, and he and the young lady joined myself and another customer in a pleasant conversation. Then, there was a young man that let me out because it was closing time and was kind enough to laugh at my corny joke. As I prepare to deploy for a sixth time to defend this great nation, it's these moments that remind me why my Family and I continue to fight the good fight and make so many sacrifices to protect our way of life. 'Bob' thank you and your staff for being so gracious and accommodating even though you were literally 5 minutes from closing and taking care of me and another woman that also shared in the experience. God Bless the Ambridge CVS Team! AIRBORNE!!!

Physician Issued script electronically that included Two Refills, EACH for a 30 Day Supply of Meds. Ambridge CVS Took It Upon Themselves to fill initial script AND the 2 Refills at Once (90 Day Supply) increasing Copay from $10 to $30...WITHOUT Asking. For some this may be okay but this is a big problem if on a strict budget as myself.*********UPDATE.....Contacted CVS Corporate Office @ 1-800-SHOP-CVS who confirmed this is NOT their process and advised the Ambridge CVS Pharmacy Manager to STOP this process immediately and reported issue to their Regional Director.
