This is the cutest little store!I like shopping here but WATCH the prices!!!! Some are great, others are ridiculously expensive.Great parking lot, easy to get in and out of. Little hard to see from route 65. Turn onto 4th Ave to access the parking lot.

This place is a true gem. I went to Do it Best for a grill because they are the only establishment in Pittsburgh with a full display of Napoleon Grills. Much to my surprise this place reminds me what a true hardware/ supply store should be. The owner personally called me to discus the grill. That just goes to show you it’s a true family establishment. I went back to buy the grill and David, and Christine could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Christine also took the time to call me up and get accessories ordered for the grill. My wife and daughter also love all the decorations and books. I look forward to returning and patronizing this business even though it’s 35-40 min out of the way from my house. Thank you!

Went to the home depot yesterday, even had an appointment with their kitchen staff. Not one single person helped me, when I asked an employee if they could help me they said "depends."I have been to this do it best, probably, every day this last week and do not have a hard time finding an employee willing to help, most of them just acknowledge me as I walk around and ask if they can help me.While, the prices are higher than the big box stores, I am definitely happy to shop here because I feel valued as a customer AND I'm not wasting my time searching for products w/o assistance.The ambridge do it best has earned a loyal customer!Edit: I am also obsessed with all the "wanted" posters around the store of people that have shop lifted! Even had an in depth convo with an employee about how one woman looked so different in each of her photos that I did not think they were the same person!Also, pickles are incredible here (same brand the taphouse uses for their fried pickles!) And I got some of THEE BEST smoked salt here! Love that I can just buy products from other local small businesses while I am here!

Great place and some pretty wonderful people work there. Two years in a row, we have been able to count on Ambridge Do it Best to donate paint and supplies for our local YMCA Summer Camp project. The manager and his staff are always so helpful, polite and generous. Thank you Ambridge Do it Best!

Do It Best has a great variety of tools and hardware. The convenience of having a larger hardware store in the area is great, though prices are usually not as good as Home Depot or Lowe’s. The staff is very knowledgeable though!

Love this store! People are so friendly and helpful. My husband had a question about his weed wackier and the guys were like “just bring it in, we will help you and look at it.” He was impressed. I just bought cushion for rocking chair and the price was so reasonable. My favorite!

They have so much awesome stuff there! A wide variety of everything for your yard and gardening projects, decorations and furniture and tools and pet supplies and cleaning supplies just so much even tool rentals and outdoor lighting and fountains I could go on forever. This was my first time ever going here but I will definitely be back soon! And can't forget to mention the wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help me. Thank you guys and keep up the great work!!!😊

I can’t remember a single time where I didn’t find what I need here. It always seem very well run with helpful and friendly staff. Food trucks now on weekends, peach truck in summer, one stop shopping and so much simpler and better than the big box stores.Oh and dog friendly which is rare.

Store has so much stuff it's a little overwhelming but the staff is wonderful and will help you find anything. Plants are a bit expensive but worth it. There is a kids you section I use for presents and a great stealers isle.
