If you are receiving a vaccine, ask the pharmacist to confirm which vaccine you are receiving- and ask multiple times throughout the visit before the vaccine is administered. Otherwise you may get the wrong shot without your knowledge or consent (guess what happened to me, and guess which vaccine). Never going back.

This pharmacy is by the worst out of all the others in the area. Over the course of a year this has happened multiple times where i have called to check prescription status being told a certain time… then showing up at said time to be told give them 15-20 minutes to get to ready.

The pharmacy staff at ambler cvs are EXTREMELY RUDE and talked down to me and made me feel very uncomfortable! If I could give this zero stars I would. I will never go there for my prescriptions again after the way I was treated. They claim to want to help and support their customers except they do the exact opposite!! The young man I spoke to today should really learn how to treat people with respect!

I typically visit this location in Ambler after church on Sundays. I had a question and the manager came up front to help me. Her name was Jaleesa and she went out of her way to help me find a product I was looking for. She checked supplies in the back and made sure I left with my free “beauty product”. She was so kind and helpful and she could have easily told me they had sold out of supplies. Instead, she made sure I left happy. That is a good manager! Thank you.

This is the worst service I ever experienced from a CVS pharmacy. I had to visit three times for a medicine they said was ready. In one instance they gave my prescription away because they said I did not pick it up right away. I went in 6 hours after I called it in and apparently that was too much time…absolutely ridiculous. When I finally went to pick up my prescription they got my insurance information mixed up somehow and insisted my medicine was not covered until they hesitantly agreed to check my insurance card and realized it was wrong. Horrible customer service! Stay away and take your business to either another CVS pharmacy or a competitor.If a CVS district manager is reading this please do something about the Pharmacy at this location.

I usually go to the Jenkintown location, but if I'm on my way to work in Plymouth Meeting I stop at the Ambler location store #8498. They are open early (well they are supposed to be). I stopped today 8/13 at 7:40am other people were waiting outside the hours said 7am the doors were locked? Everyone left I knocked and knocked at 8:51 the manager finally came to open the doors. no apology just oh people make mistakes?? Well let me tell you at my job heads would roll, customers were leaving?? I work in business development and I'm a Carepass customer and a long time CVS customer won't be going to this location again.

The absolute rudest pharmacy around. Giving people a two hour return on prescriptions for an emergency is absurd. And when you come back during their convenient timeframe, you’re told it’s still not ready! They have no sympathy for ill patients, no courtesy, and throw off an attitude when they have to do their job.If you don’t like being a pharmacist and having to deal with people, find a different job instead of making our lives miserable.

Dropped off a prescription on Saturday and told me it would be ready for Monday. When I called on Monday, told me we have been on back order for weeks for that medicine. Thankfully it wasn’t an urgent medication, but it was so poorly handled and with no communication whatsoever. There are more than enough other places in the area that I would recommend over this one for getting your prescriptions.

It's very inefficient at the pharmacy which seems fairly well staffed at times. Also we were told - on two occasions - that the line for the pharmacy is in a different location than Marked. They need a better.line system anyway. The store is slightly better.

272 Butler is the kind of CVS Pharmacy that makes you grateful for Express Scripts. Took me two visits to pick up a prescription they had phoned to tell me was available. The first time, they lost it and told me to come back; the second time, it took two people five minutes to track it down. And with Covid rates on the rise again, they've closed their drive-thru window so you HAVE to walk through the store. Inefficient, disorganized, and unfriendly -- if you have another option, use it.

Just switched to this pharmacy. The pharmacist was incredibly helpful with a prescription issue I was having. Did all he could (called my old pharmacy, called my insurance) to resolve the issue. Felt like he went above and beyond.

Don't bother ordering same day photo prints from this store. Placed my order online only to find out when going to pick them up that the store's photo printer was broken. The least they could have done was called to tell me the photos could not be printed. They were also unable to transfer the order to another CVS store. No help at all.
